On the very day John F. Kennedy died, a cottage industry was born. Fifty years and hundreds of millions of dollars later, it's still thriving.

Its product? The "truth" about the president's assassination.

"By the evening of November 22, 1963, I found myself being drawn into the case," Los Angeles businessman Ray Marcus wrote in "<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/jfkfiles/~4/xKWYKlGTHwA" height="1" width="1"/>

Dale K. Pat Hall wants to sell her house in north Oak Cliff.

The place at 1026 N. Beckley Ave. should attract some interest, as it has for half a century.

A guy named Lee Harvey Oswald lived there for a while in 1963. That is, until he was arrested and charged with killing President John F. Kennedy and Dallas police Officer J.D. Tippit.

WASHINGTON - For one of the most tragic and dissected events in American history, it's hard to believe artifacts from the Nov. 22, 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy exist that have never been seen.

Yet, the Newseum is set to unveil some of these items.

A Washington-based group that has long questioned the official version of John F. Kennedy's assassination says the city of Dallas is trampling its rights by barring it from Dealey Plaza for this year's 50th anniversary of the murder of the nation's 35th president.

The Coalition on Political Assassinations has gathered every year since 1994 at the site where<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/jfkfiles/~4/Q1cRMy0EOaY" height="1" width="1"/>

Dale K. Despite half a century of renovations, a boxy little tract house on West Fifth Street has never been able to leave its past behind.

New owners have come and gone: changed the windows, painted the bricks, built new walls. But the tourists who still gawk daily from the sidewalk will always see Ruth Paine’s house on Nov. 22, 1963 — the morning her houseguest <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/jfkfiles/~4/RrsR9qfYE_w" height="1" width="1"/>

Dale K.
