You are probably eligible for the free, amazing Birthright Israel program, and today is the day to register. (Click to register for Mayanot's trip, or read on.)

By now, you must have heard about the Taglit-Birthright Israel trips, and you probably want to go this summer... or at some point in the future. You probably know that the trip is free, and includes airfare to Israel, all hotels, touring, entry fees, most meals, and much more. It is available to Jewish young adults—regardless of background, affiliation, or practice—ages 18 through 26 years old who have never been to Israel on a organized peer educational tour. Even if you have visited Israel with family, you are still eligible.

Here is what is critical: As soon the clock strikes 11 AM (CST) on Wednesday, register at www.MayanotIsrael.com for the Mayanot's Birthright Israel program.

VISIT OUR "REGISTRATION STATION" IN THE DUC COMMONS FROM 11 AM UNTIL 1 PM ON WEDNESDAY. LOOK FOR THE BLUE AND WHITE BALLOONS.

There are over 20 different trip options, and Mayanot is the most popular trip provider in the St. Louis region. There are many trip providers out there, and they are all pretty good. One trip provider, Mayanot Israel, has taken over 625 (!) Washington University and St. Louis area students on Birthright Israel trips. Mayanot has the experience and ability to provide you an excellent trip… just ask your Wash. U. friends who have gone on Birthright Israel, about three out of four have gone with Mayanot!

REGISTER AS EARLY AS YOU CAN TO HELP ENSURE THAT YOU CAN GET A SPACE: TREAT THE REGISTRATION DATE AS A DEADLINE!

You may be thinking to yourself:

"I have always wanted to on Birthright Israel, but I think I want to go next summer" or "I don't have my summer job or internship figured out yet, I can't register yet." The corollary question to all these thoughts is: "Why should I register today?"

These are all good questions. Yet, they all have a simple answer:

If there is any chance that you may be able to possibly go on a Birthright Israel this summer break—or if you want to go any time in the future—register now! This way you keep your options open, or, if you want to go another season, you will be able to pre-register for that trip, which will help your odds of getting accepted.

Click http://www.MayanotIsrael.com to register for Mayanot's trip.

REMEMBER:

Registering immediately (within the first 12 hours), will increase your chances of getting accepted.

Fill out the entire application and submit your refundable deposit - otherwise your application won't get in line early for consideration by Taglit-Birthright Israel. And get your deposit in asap; the "deposit time stamp" is a critical part of getting accepted to the program.

Don't be worried if the website is slow - there are thousands of people all trying to register at the same time. Be patient and be persistent. It may take a few extra minutes but it is well worth.

AGAIN: TREAT TODAY'S REGISTRATION DATE AS A DEADLINE!

Any questions? Please email me.

Best,

Chana R.
