There are many amazing tourist spots that will blow you out of the water. My favourite place I have visited is the Griffiths Observatory. When I was there, I was given the opportunity to view the planet Saturn through one of their telescopes! Other awesome places include the Getty Villa, Universal Studios, and Disneyland. The great thing about these spots are that they cater to people of any age. Secondly, Los Angeles has many delicious restaurants because of its diverse culture. There is Mexican food, Korean food, Japanese food and so forth. But the best part about the food in Los Angeles is the innovation of fusing tastes from different cultures. They bring out the best of both worlds combining interesting, unique flavours. Aside from the reasons I have just mentioned, the best part about Los Angeles is soaking in the warm weather. If you love the sun as much as I do, then you will absolutely love the numerous beaches that Los Angeles has to offer. The Santa Monica Pier is most definitely one of the best. The scenery is breathtaking and the environment is full of positive and exciting energy. There are far more compelling reasons for why one should visit Los Angeles, however the reasons I’ve given should suffice my case that Los Angeles is not only a location to visit, but to also live in as well.

Many television shows portray scenes of violence and sex as a way of garnering attention from its viewers. The more views a television show receives, the more popular it becomes. The staff behind creating tv shows are so driven to meet their goal that they tend to ignore the possibility that their shows could easily influence a child’s behaviour in a negative way. Most children do not have the luxury to be able to recognize the difference between what is right and wrong, and are thus taught by their guardians to have a better grasp of morality. But what happens if the guardian is not present to watch over the child being exposed to such negativity shown on tv? This problem is what contributes to increased violence within children’s actions and their inadequate levels of empathy. For example, there was a study at ABC college that compared two groups of children: one that watched violent television shows, and another that did not. There was a strong correlation between increased violent behaviour and actions for the group of children that watched violent television shows as opposed to the latter. Yet, not only does violence on television affect children and their development, but it also has a profound effect on adults as well.
