Kids' Style #8 - New Year at Toddlers World

She had my dirty socks on and she looks amazingly cute.
Here is the little Miss in her Shikalika fashion. All her shirts are now loose because of this shikalika style that she and Jake had created. And they named it shikalika.
When you come to our house, make sure you hide your shoes because we have shoe addict here.

Jake had his haircut the day before New Year. Yours truly was the responsible of this of course. It doesn't look good but husband said it's good. I'm thinking of giving him a buzz cut one of these days.
New Year's day, we went to the park and had a walk half way around the trail. Justine just love this hat that momi Jes made. She called this hat as "Garden Hat" because of the flower design and the colorful thread.

Kids' Style #7 - Christmas Day

My entry is a bit late but this is better than never right?

Well, on the night before Christmas we take pictures and family photos. We got lucky this time as we got a good family picture without one of them screaming or crying. The little Miss was in the princess mood for picture taking because she love her dress. She even asked me to put a princess dress and I'm glad their grandma bought her a gorgeous dress last year. The boy had a cpae because he wanted to be superhero.

On Christmas day, she wanted to have that dress again. She said she wants to be a princess so I put it onto her. That pretty hat was a gift from Ruby which is a hand made done by Mommy Jes. Lovely doesn't it?

They received a pair of PJs from Mommy Umma and they wanted to wear it that night.

I Love Presents!

"I Love Presents!" The little Miss said when she was opening all the presents.

The night before Christmas, J&J was helping me baking cookies and decorating the ginger bread house. We put them to bed around 10:00 so we have time to assemble the susie's kitchen for Justine. We read them the story "t'was the night before Christmas" in bed and Jake was very good and went to bed afterwards. The little Miss on the hand was fighting, screaming and wailing because she did not want to go nytnyt yet. I had no idea how many hours of sleep she had because she was still screaming when we went to bed at almost 2:00 in the morning and got up at around 4;00 i think but she transferred to out room. They got up around 8:00 in the morning. Jake asked as soon as he woke up if Santa was there.

They saw the trains and Barney first and for them that was complete. He asked for trains and she asked for barney and they got it. I love Santa! I love Christmas! I love presents! They both said these statement. Thanks to Dhemz, Ruby, Aunts, grandma, Daddy and Mommy for all the gifts.

Toy Story | Crazy with Thomas

Yes, he is and I wonder when this Thomas mania will be over. If there's a pizza or Chinese delivery knocked at our door, he would come running and start telling them about Thomas and Friends. That is how obsessed this little man with this little engines.

When we went to the Conservatory garden, he saw a big Thomas box on top of the donation box. He was itching to take that toy our of the bin.

Then on our way out, he didn't want to go home yet because he asked Santa that he wants dash, bash and ferdinand and Thomas too so he expected that Santa will handed it over to him right away. He also don't want to go home because he wanted to play with the train inside the garden.

He was so pissed so he started screaming. Look at that face, he really wanted to throw a fit. People were smiling seeing Joe and Jake had arguments about Thomas, the toys and blah blah. He was crying and not in the nice mood inside the car. So, we gave him bash as early presents so he will stop.

This little Miss dress was from last year. I thought it was already small on her but I like this dress. She looks cute on this one.

Do you know that all these lovely clothing that my sweet Justine wearing in this photos were hand-me-downs from Andrea? Well, my lil Kikay looks good on it and thankful for sharing these coat and clothing to us.

Toy Story | J&J Toys and Our Toys

This is our first entry for Toy Story meme hosted by Momi Jes of My Little Angels in America. This would be a great meme to showcase our kids toys and the story behind it.

I had to dig our picture folder to look for pictures of Jake and Justine's toys. I forgot that I separate Jake's photography where he took a bunch of his toy like the Thomas and Friends.

T&F are Jake's favorite toys. This toy brings out the worst in him because he throws a fit every time one of his toys fell in the track. Well, we had the train track set up in his room and if one of the track moved or out of the line he throws a fit. If he is playing and one of the little engine fell, he throws a fit. Sometimes, I think Thomas & Friends is a bad influence on him because he only take note on the trouble that he saw in the T&F cartoons. But he love that show, we always told him to work on his attitude when playing the choo choo train.

The Toy Story is also Jake and Justine's favorite. They both like the Toy Story because it's more on Buzz and Justine likes it because there's Jesse. However, Toy Story 1,2, 3 are one of their favorite movies to watch repeatedly besides T&F and Barney.

Mommy and Daddy also have new toys to play. Santa dropped our presents early this month. I finally got my interest in cell phone again when Babger decided to upgrade our unit and plan. Thanks for the Android Babe.

Kids' Style # 4 - Winter Suit

I tried to hold her and hurrying her to catch Jake and Joe. But she didn't want me to hold her hand even if i explained to her that she needs to hold mommy's hand because she is still a baby. When we crossed the street she was a total brat pulling off her hand so I had to hold it tight. The she was taking the time of her life walking along the sidewalk not minding the windy and freezing weather.

Kids' Style #2 - Kikay in a Tutu

This photo was take yesterday and she was of course look filthy cute with that red skirt. We've been inside the house for 100 years already so her styles for now has to be the ones she wears in regular basis. The below is taken an hour ago. She was looking for a tutu so i gave her a tutu. She wanted to be foofa but the costume was in the dirty basket. The tutu looks cute on her and I let her dance since she was in the good mood to obliged everything i asked her to do.

This picture was in my draft and though of including it in here as my first post. This was taken late spring of 2010. The ruffle dress was a hand-me-down.

This one was the latest taken last summer. I just love the style of her dress in the photo. I bought it at Cosco for $7.

Mommy!! Look what Justine did

Jake was hiding behind her as if he was the one getting in trouble. But the little Miss who definitely did this did not show any guilt at all. She even want to play with it more.

The moment this little Miss able to reach out bathroom door knob I knew that little life I have left will be totally gone. I have to watch her like a hawk because she is very sneaky. She can climbed on top of the vanity table and sit inside the laboratory with the water running. She was like a little mermaid in the bathroom sink. Since she knows how to open the bathroom door which she figured that out couple of weeks ago, she also knows how to open other doors even if it has tight door knobs. I'm doomed.

Shoe Addict Strike Again

I wonder when this shoe addiction be over. She strike again putting different shoes and leaving them everywhere unattended. Just couple of hours ago she had my rubber shoes on and left it in the living room. I told her to put it back in the shoe rack and she just answered me with her favo word "NO". My order is my command.

We also went shopping yesterday and at the payless store, I was busy sizing up Jake foot with the shoes he liked. Before i get the chance to pick shoes for little Miss, she already found a pair and working on putting them in her feet. She knows what she wants when it comes with shoes.

Updates: J&J Milestones and Adventures

I haven't done much updates with my dragons blog and their milestones, activity, adventures and more after I change their domain name. I even considering changing the domain again when it expires. Waaa i dunno, something wrong my fickleminded head. Any suggestion?

Anyway, what are they up to?....

Jake still in potty training and so far he is doing really great. Every time he felt like pooping he just run quickly to the bathroom and put his potty ring on his own. He can potty without my help though except cleaning his bottom. He knew how to spell three letter words using the toy lappy. His attitude and behavior is sometimes on and off. He still not done with tantrums and terrible 3 mania. But all these are manageable and he is also scared at us. The 123 magic still works with him so far which is opposite with the little Miss.
123 magic doesn't work that much with this girl. Vocabulary wise, she is better at her age. She knows many funny words to say and easily imitate what she sees on TV. She thinks that if mommy and daddy can do this and that or anything, Justine too. She's been our co sleeper this past weeks. She decides which room she is going to sleep. That's how powerful she think this girl is. It's cute though but have to cut that attitude because sometimes she really cross the lines. She is easy to handle too but once she is having her moment, you cannot expect her to be quite right away. If she's mad then she's mad, very transparent. One energetic, happy, witty and talented girl.

Jake and Justine are team, friends and enemy too. They play along together but sometimes Jake bossing around this little girl and this girl will follow all Jake's order. If she stops playing with him that's when Jake gets mad and gives her a noggy. Then after that they become friend again. Jake is protective with Justine but he pushes her lots of time. What a fun world of toddlers.

Gibberish Concert

My ever talented little muffins in their Gibberish Concert. I have heard so much of this concert all the time. I even put them on time out just to stop making noises but I have no choice but to listen to them anyway. Now, who wants to be their audience, free of charge and you will get a front seat. No purchase of concert ticket is necessary just take both your hands ad have it ready to give them a round of applause.

Flu Shot

Have you had your flu shot yet? Well, it's better to have it now than be sorry. The weather starting to change and school also have started few weeks ago. We do not want to get our kids sick do we? Jake and Justine had their flue shot last Friday. I thought it was a shot but it's a liquid drop to their nose. Well, that was easy. The only reason why some parents don't want this little ones have a flu shot is because of the shot. Now, nothing to worry about. So, call your doctor or pediatrician for appointment. Hubby and I will have our flu shot next week.

Aside from building puzzles, lego and block, jake also love to draw. He asked me to drew Thomas face so I did and he took care of the eyes and everything. Below was his latest artwork, and yesterday he drew a fish. I was busy blogging but hubby took a picture of his drawing using his cell phone. Great job Jake and keep it up. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you.

He is into mommy and daddy when he addressed us. Influences from the TV shows. Justine also scribbled the pen and thought she drew a dragon hehe. I forgot to upload the picture. It's funny how they interpret their artwork based on their imagination.

KIDs In Doodles - Building Puzzles

I would say Jake have a good eye on arts and images. He is still 3 years old and he can draw things based on his imagination. He can also masterly build puzzles without referring to the pictures or images in the box. He know how to find the missing pieces. The latest puzzle he has right now is the Green Little engine from Thomas and Friends. As soon as we opened the puzzle yesterday he started building it without our assistance.

Way to go Jake. Mommy and Dada are so proud of you. I love you nak.

Kids In Doodles - Naming Colors and Singing

It's kid time again. Here's a video of my curly tops Kikay identifying and naming colors. She can also tell shapes such as square, triangle, oblong and circle. She's still confuse with rectangle and it's three syllables so she can't articulately say it straight. Anyway, the second video was J&J singing. Happy Labor Day everyone. My sister posted an old photos of us when we were little. I can't remember how old we were in this picture. Couple of our siblings were not born yet when we had this picture taken. It was our aunt who watches us when we were little. Thanks to our dearest aunts and uncles.

From the right was Me, my younger sister Weng, older brother Julius and younger sister Chel.

This is our latest photo. I sill look like our neighbors kids though hehehe. Seriously, most of our neighbors mistook me as someone else kid even until now. They can't see any obvious resemblance.
