This is a card using a new stamp set, called Bold Blossom, from the Stampin' Up! Summer Mini catalogue (runs until end of March 2012).
It is a cute set that coordinates beautifully with the Blossom bouquet triple layer punch. A punch that can punch 3 different layers of the flower you can see in the card. I have layered them using the cute mini brads in the center. The flowers are actually interactive - you can spin them around!

Happy New Year to you and your family. I hope you are enjoying the holidays as much as I am. No early morning wake ups or school lunches to make = yippee!
Speaking of family, these little santa pillow boxes are what me and my kids made to give to each of their class members for Christmas last year (it is such a long time ago!). We had fun writing on the back of each one (before assembly!) and filling them with a little chocolate surprise for each child.
My inspiration was actually from some of my lovely customers (and friends) - thanks Lea and Alina!

Another simple card for you today using Merry and Type.
It is difficult to see in this photo but I have also used the woodgrain background stamp on the Cherry Cobbler background to add a little more interest to the card. One rhinestone and some seam binding ribbon finishes it off nicely.

A simple yet stunning Christmas card for you today! The dasher single stamp is a great one to add to your collection, and with a little glitter just beautiful too. I have added glitter underneath dasher and to his antlers, but it is difficult to see in this photo. Sorry!

I provided a Christmas card making event for a church group this weekend. They made 7 projects in all, including these two Christmas tags.
Both tags are from the Two Tags Big Shot die, which makes it so simple to create quick and easy tags for all your presents this year.

Accessories: Sassy sparkles wheel, Pennant builder punch, word window punch, tiny circle punch, oval punch, scalloped oval punch, 1 1/4" circle punch, crop a dile.
Here is a Christmas card I made for a recent swap with my team. I made a few different versions. Here is the same card with Very vanilla as the base instead of whisper white. You can also see the oval window more clearly on this one:
On this one I have also replaced the cherry cobbler spotted scalloped ribbon for punched cardstock and glitter. Here is a side view:
I created the window using the oval designer frame embossing folder, then punching out the center with the extra large oval punch (it fits perfectly!). All of the stamps for this card are in the new stamp set, Merry and Type, except the Merry Christmas greeting which is from Teeny tiny sentiments.

This is a card I created as a swap for a team weekend away. I took my ispiration from a card in the Idea Book and Catalogue on page 10. I have basically just used the sketch of the card and have turned it 90 degrees to suit my design.
The lovely flower is from the new stamp set Organic Grace. I stamped and cut each petal into the center of the flower, then curled each petal slightly to make it more 3 dimensional.

This is the card some of my Creative Stampers team members got to make at our holiday get together. We have lots of fun creating while all our children play together and have a ball too!
I couldn't resist using the new triple layer doily punch as the large snowflakes in the background. It is one of my brand new products so I have been itching to find a use for it. I think it may get used a lot in the run up to Christmas!
The oval border is new too - one of two designer frames you get as a set for the big shot, only $16.95 for them both! This one fits the extra large oval punch perfectly.

When the new Stampin' Up! catalogue came out in September, this stamp set, Field Flowers, was top of my wishlist. I am glad to say that I am not disappointed! It is one of those sets that makes your cards look great with almost no effort at all!
It is a two-step stamping set, so the Stamp-a-ma-jig is a must. Just look at the lovely 3D flower effect it creates when you use two tones of ink - stunning!
Here are the details of what I used to create this card:
Card: Crumb cake, naturals ivory
Ink: Bashful blue, Island indigo, crumb cake, early esspresso, old olive
Stamps: Field flowers, sincere salutations
Accessories: Subtles paper stack (bashful blue sheet), extra-large oval punch, Designer frames textured impressions oval folder, big shot, stamping sponges, crumb cake seam binding ribbon.

This is one of the cards the lovely ladies who attended my New Catalogue Launch Party got to make last Friday.
It uses the beautiful swirly stamp from the new stamp set 'Creative Elements'. The other images in the set are just as nice too! The butterflies were made using the Butterfly wings sizzlet die on the big shot. I think this is one of the best investments I have made. A small die that embosses and cuts out 5 different sized butterflies all for less than the price of a punch! Bargain!
I mounted the smaller butterflies on the larger ones for a lovely effect. I had never thought to do this before and it really does look special on a card.
Of course I have used a new 'In Colour', Wisteria Wonder. A lovely pale purple, that goes perfectly with Elegant eggplant and Pink pirouette.
The glittery finish is from Frost White Shimmer Paint that I have mixed with Isopropyl alcohol and spritzed on the entire card. Once the alcohol has dried it leaves the lovely shimmer. Just one of the many uses for Stampin' Up! shimmer paints!

So, onto what I have created. I have made some 3D ornaments and used them to decorate a small Christmas tree using Stampin' Up! papers, stamps and punches.
Here is a close up of some of the ornaments:
To make each ornament you need 3 or 4 punched out shapes. I used stars and the ornament punch. You fold each one in half them glue them together. I glued some linen thread into the middle of each one to create the hanger. I have also added either glitter, shimmer paint or smooch spritz to each ornament so they all sparkle!

My second project is a cute card using the Dasher stamp and making him into Rudolf!
Here is a close up of Rudolf's nose, made using a tiny punched out circle from the 'owl punch':
And for my final project - a Christmas mouse that is perfect for your kids to give away to their classmates at Christmas time:
It is made using an oval from a big shot die as the body. 1 punched out heart for the head, 2 hearts for the ears and the slit punch (now retired) to place the candy cane through, which makes the tail of the mouse. I just drew on a face and my kids wrote each of their class mates names onto each mouse. They loved giving them away last year at Christmas.

Here is a card from one of my monthly classes. We created 3D flower cards. The flower on this card is created using the scallop circle punch from Stampin' Up! and a brad. So simple yet so effective.
A little bit of sponging finishes it off nicely.
This card also uses the top note die, large oval punch and the decorative label punch, which is in the current Autumn-Winter Mini Catalogue that ends at on 31 July. This is the last month to order from it.

This is what I made for my room mates at Convention this year. A Convention Survival Kit!
I designed this all from scratch! Quite unbelievable really!
Here is a shot of whats inside:
It contains lots of useful things so we all make it through convention unscathed! Including: chocolate, band aids, pain killers, hand sanitizer, gum, lip balm, note pad and pen, money and cotton balls.
I really hope that Jayne, Marelle and Beth all like them!

Well, at the moment I am enjoying the first day of Stampin' Up! Convention in Melbourne, Australia! Here is the swap card I created for this year.
I have used the Awash with Flowers stamp set, using the stamp-a-ma-jig to do all the 2-step stamping. This makes the flowers much more 3 dimensional.
The top note die was the perfect border for my flowers, sponged of course!
I have brayed ink onto the square lattice folder before putting it through the bigshot, to create a much bolder background.
I have even stamped and cut out one of the flowers, this is big for me, I try and avoid cutting out if I can!
Finished off with the word window punch and decorative label punch.
I hope you enjoy this card as much as I will be enjoying Convention!
