This card is not my usual style!  It is a bit 'fancier'.  What do you think?

The images are from the lovely "embrace life" stamp set.  I have used the Stampin' Write makers to ink up the main image so it is two tone.

Here is a card I made with the aim of showcasing the Stampin' Up! product "Sticky Cuts".  These are sticky shapes that you can add to your projects and then apply glitter to them to make them sparkly!

In this case I chose the butterflies from the "Sticky Cuts - Sweets" pack.  I added pink "Supernova glitter", which is just beautiful and perfect to 'bling up' girly cards!

I have finished off the card using "pocket silhouettes" (one of my favourite stamp sets) and some certainly celery ribbon.  This ribbon is similar to the ribbon you can get free in the ribbon bundle, if you spend $100 on Stampin' Up! products with me in September.

Here are some mini cards I made using the stamp set "A flower for all seasons".  A great stamp set that is cute to colour.  These were quick and easy cards to make.  The scalloped square punch also adds a bit on interest to the cards.

Here is the card I sent to my Dad.  It was inspired by a very similar card by Kylie Swain, whom I was lucky enough to sit near on my recent team weekend away.  Thanks Kylie!

I used 4 new larger silver brads - available in the Spring Mini Catalogue - which were just perfect to finish off this card.  Parisian breeze paper (my all time favourite ever paper from Stampin' Up!) teamed with kraft and not quite navy card, complete the ensemble.

Here is the card and matching bookmark I made for my nephew Austin's birthday.

It can always be challenging making cards for boys that are not too babyish.  I hope that Austin liked his 'football' inspired card.  I used the football from the 'family favourites' stamp set and teamed it with the 'happy birthday' greeting from the 'family phrases' stamp set.  I also stamped his name using the 'Short order' alphabet (I like this one as it has upper and lower case in the one alphabet set).

Adding some crimping (always good on male cards) and some grey patterned paper (from the Urban Oasis designer series paper pack) and the card was complete.

I recently attended a weekend away stamping, with the INKlings Stampin' Up! team.  One of the other attendees on the weekend was the talented Carol Dunstan.  She created this lovely card and when I saw it I just had to make it!  Carol even loaned me her Kiwi Kiss marker to make the card.  You can see how she makes her own 'in colour' markers HERE.  Thank you Carol.

My main aim on the weekend away was to create samples of cards using products from the new Spring Mini Catalogue.  I love the new Corduroy buttons, and Carol's use of them on this card was just perfect.  I created lots of samples that weekend and I will be showing them to you over the next few days.  Stay tuned!

This was one of the items I gave away to all the attendees of my Spring Mini Catalogue Launch Party earlier in August.  It is a corner bookmark.  Here is it 'in action' to give you a better idea of how it works.  It sits on the corner of your page to keep your place in a book:

 

I made lots of these, here are the 4 of have left!  I am sure some lucky hostesses of mine will be getting these over the coming days.

 

I used the lovely papers from the Bella Bleu Designer Series Paper pack with a stamp from the new Oval All stamp set.  Of course I teamed it with the beautiful scalloped oval punch (only available in the Spring Mini until the end of November - order now so you are not disappointed!) and large oval punch.

I coloured the large flower on each one using my 'not quite navy' ink pad and blender pen.

This is the third and final 'make and take' from my Spring Mini Catalogue Launch earlier this month.  It is a card adapted from one by Merryl Blacker, my lovely friend and downline.  Thank you for the inspiration Merryl!

I have used the Tree trimmings stamp set.  A great Christmas set and even better at only $24.95.  The card is folded slightly differently as you can see.  Here is the front view:

 

The ribbon is the fabulous super wide Riding hood red striped grosgrain ribbon - only available in the Spring Mini Catalogue.  It is perfect for Christmas projects.  I have used a small folded piece to assist the receiver in opening the card.

Here is the view of the inside of the card:

 

And a view of the great idea in hiding your ribbon inside your card.  Using the wide oval punch (or any oval punch that suits your ribbon size), cutting it in half and adhering it over the edge of your ribbon, so the 'messy' bits are hidden!  Another super Merryl Blacker idea!

I held a Spring Mini Catalogue Launch at the beginning of this month and here is the first 'make and take' that everyone who attended got to make, and take home!  I will show you the others over the next couple of days, so pop in again soon.

I used the Great Friend stamp set.  I think it is my favourite from the Spring Mini - although there are so many nice sets, it is a difficult choice!  The butterfly is just lovely, here is a close up of it all glittery:

 

The scalloped oval punch has to be my favourite punch of all time!  I just love the little scallops.  I have used it on this card as a cloud, here is a close up:

This is the card I made for my husband, Cameron, for his 40th Birthday last month.  I bought this stamp set, Build a Roo, with him in mind.  Our sons are always telling us how much they love us Eg I love you around the universe a billion, trillion times!  So this set was perfect to remind Cam of how much we love him.

I tried something a little different for the greeting.  Stamping it and punching it out using the word window punch, then sticking it to the twill tape.  I did alter the greeting from the set slightly, omitting the 'I' and adding "we" in its place.

I hope you like it as much as Cam did.  We celebrated his birthday in style, cos you are only 40 once!
