Did you know that's how the Holy Spirit speaks to us much of the time. He just drops a thought into our minds. The Word tells us in Isaiah 55:9, "My thoughts are above your thoughts." With this in mind, this blog allows me the opportunity to share the thoughts that the Holy Spirit shares with me.

People in Authority

The Lord gave some to be in authority over us because as people, we said in our hearts we need someone like us, to be over us. Many times when he puts those over us who would hold us accountable, we don't honor them, we don't respect them.
We want people to be in authority over us who agree with the way we want to live, the things we find pleasure in. We want those in authority over us to speak sweetly to us, and agree with our way of thinking.
When those in authority over start speaking correction, and start holding us accountable for what we do then we reject them and want another person over us who will agree with the way we want to live.
Because of the way we have treated those in authority over us , and the things we have said to them and about them, many have left the church and the ministry.
We have caused many to have bitterness and unforgivness toward people and God.
How are we going to give an answer for causing this, what are we going to do to right the wrong
we have done?
