Hi everyone, I've been working on a great new site that I'm going to be launching, and I hope to link this one with it!! I really hope that you guys enjoy it. I'm going to be trying to communicate with the Amazon community... I really like that site for some reason. Hopefully you'll be hearing about it soon.

In the meantime, I'll be doing my best to try to provide you guys with great content as quickly as I can. Those gold box deals are great! I wonder if any of you guys check them as obsessively as I do sometimes. It can be addicting, and judging by the forums over at Amazon, people like em a lot. The GB team also seems to take what people say in the forums quite seriously, which will be great. My goal is to help influence that, while helping people enjoy Amazon.com that much more!

Again, it has been a long time since I've posted here, and its a shame. I haven't been able to build this blog to where I've wanted to. In fact, I haven't been able to do that for many of my blogs, but I haven't really been finding days when I've been at home. There are so many committments and other things I find myself doing, and my blogs get neglected.

However, that hasn't stopped me in finding things that I like and want to share with you. This time, it's another pen. You may have remembered that I mentioned the Fisher Space Pens a while back, and I'm still really into those. Still want to get one actually. This time, however, I've got a little higher class, and while these are more expensive, they are also extremely high quality.

I can't believe how long it's been since I've written here. I try to keep up with all of my blogs, but I've been so busy at my other jobs that I hope you will forgive the length in time between posting. I'm not even sure that there are any readers still coming here, but for those of you that still do, here's another product that I'm really interested in.

You may be a reader of my blogger tips blog, Blog Greens. If you've been over there recently, you may have seen an image of a dry erase board over there. Why do I want this board? Because I believe that it will really help my blogging.

This board is definitely what you want if you need a canvas that you can use over and over again. Best of all, it's pretty cheap, less than $40. You can mount this on your wall and start jotting away ideas. The next thing you know, you'll have filled it up with all your great ideas. It's also a good place to put messages and keep track of things that you need to see right away.

Of course not everyone will need a dry erase board this large. If you don't, Amazon has plenty of others!

Black Friday Deals

Bioshock for Xbox 360

My word, it's been over a week since I've posted something that I've wanted. It's not that I've forgotten about this site, but I'm working on some really big things, and this just kind of hit the back burner. I'm back though! Just in time for the holiday season, eh? Anyway, today's product is a video game, and quite a popular one at that. It's a great deal too. Today, I'm featuring Bioshock.

Bioshock is a great Xbox 360 game. I've got a funny story about how I got my system, but that's for another day. In Bioshock, you are exploring an underwater utopia that has been ravaged by scientific experiments. Dead corpses lie everywhere, and around every corner genetically altered mutants are waiting to ambush you. As you travel through the city, you must acquire new weapons, upgrade the ones that you have, and use all of your cunning in order to survive. In the end, you must decide whether to exploit everyone in order to survive, or risk everything in order to try to save the survivors?

If you're a first person shooter fan, and you don't have this one yet, you've got to go pick it up right away. Why is that? Well, there is a deal over at Amazon. Howl's Moving Castle

Going to add more movies to the catalog. I think I have this one, but I'm not sure. I'm going to check right now actually. Ah. Yes I do. Now I just have to find it because I want to watch it tonight. Today's product is Howl's Moving Castle. If you love beautiful movies with a great story, then this is for you. Made by the famous Hayao Miyazaki, I know that you won't be disappointed.

Howl's Moving Castle is a beautiful story with great animation. I've watched it so many times I can't even count them. I actually went out of my way to see it once while I was on vacation! Also, if you've seen any of Miyazaki's movies, then you know what to expect. They're all well done, and this is no exception!

Howl's Moving Castle is on sale at Amazon for $21.49. A bit pricey for a DVD, but it is totally worth it. Of course it is available at my Astore!

House, MD

Time to add some more DVDs to the catalog. This time, we've got one of my favorite shows ever. House, MD. I watch this show pretty religiously on Tuesdays, and I've been watching it ever since it started just about 3 years ago.

For anyone who doesn't know, House, MD is a drama about Dr. House, who is played by Hugh Laurie (excellent actor). He is an expert diagnostician with a concentration in infectious disease and nephrology. He leads a team of 3 other doctors, and they work together to find solutions to various strange diseases and conditions that their patients develop. What makes House so interesting is that he doesn't seem to care about his patients, just simply the challenge of finding out what is wrong with them and making it better.

Season 4 has just recently started, but the first 3 season are available for download through Amazon Unbox, for just about $2 an episode. A small investment if you're just looking to find a new show to watch. Or download it and check it out. But in the end, you're gonna want to come back and purchase all three seasons of House, MD that are already available on DVD.

I can vouch that House, MD is an excellent show. I highly recommend it. It's definitely worth it to be able to go onto the DVDs and look at the behind the scenes and other great stuff they have there. I've already watched the first and second seasons twice... :-\.

Bose Quietcomfort 2 Headphones

Today's item is a little pricey, but its one that I own and I think it's great. You can see them over there on the left, the Bose® QuietComfort® 2 headphones. These babies are comfortable, thats for sure. And they sound incredible too. That's not quite detailed enough for here (even though it should be).

When do I use these headphones? I use them almost every day. Whenever I watch a movie on the laptop (on which I am blogging), and when I listen to music while I blog. They were made for use on airplanes, and let me tell you, they work great for that. When you turn them on, the drone of the engine practically disappears, and you can listen to your music, watch the movie, or sleep in peace. Turning them on brings you into your own little sanctuary.

Here's a review on a product I actually own (to show I'm not a spammer!). Gonna try to do a few of these this week. Anyway, I found myself in a position where I needed to get an iron last year. Heading into the store, I knew nothing about irons, or how to find a good one. The guy in the store directed me towards the Rowenta Focus Pink iron.

Now I know what you're thinking. It's pink! What on earth would a guy be doing with a pink iron? Well, I was skeptical at first too, but when the salesman went through a list of the features of this iron, and why it was the best one, I put the color behind me and picked it up. What are these features, you ask? Would I leave you hanging?

The Rowenta Focus Pink iron features:

1700-watt iron with stainless-steel nonstick soleplate
Electronic temperature control; LED lights; 10-ounce water tank
Burst, variable, and vertical steam; 3-way auto shutoff for safety

What do these mean though? Well the first point tells you that its a HOT iron, ready to press out any wrinkles you might have. It also will not stick to those tough to iron materials. The electronic temperature control is a knob that tells you when the iron is ready to go. (Green for go, Yellow for heating up, and Red for cooling down) The water tank is nice for delivering steam or spraying water. Speaking of steam, this thing produces a TON of it. It's great. The auto-shut off is good for not burning your place down :-).

Yes, the Rowenta Focus Pink is pink, but that helps donate to breast cancer research, and we're all for that. The iron is selling on Amazon for $79.99 with free shipping. I fully endorse this product, you will not be disappointed. Of course it is on sale in my Astore as well!

Leatherman New Wave

Haven't you always wanted a tool that would take care of every thing for you? Well, if that is what you're looking for, then the Leatherman New Wave is just what you're looking for.

I've always had the problem of never having a tool when I need it, especially when I'm repairing or working on things at the movie theatre. And I'm a huge gadget freak :-). I've always wanted to hook up a system to my computer, and the EyeTV Hybrid will allow me to do just that. Having that and picking up a nice HDTV antenna, and I can have all the great things made for TV on my Mac! I'm sure that these would look great on my Apple Cinema Display. And, as an added bonus, if you've got one of the higher end Mac systems (like I hope to soon), you can watch TV in 720p or 1080i! They are not the best around, but it's really close to that! And it's on your computer, so you won't need a TV!

Another great thing about this is that it's so small, the size of a USB stick. That means it's unobtrusive and won't clutter up your desk!

I cannot rave enough about the Elgato EyeTV Hybrid! I use it with my iMac and a very inexpensive table-top HD antenna (Philips MANT510) to watch, record, and convert (to iPod and iPhone) my favorite OTA HDTV (in crystal clear, beautiful HD!) and basic cable shows. I get better picture quality from this setup than I do with HD cable and my HDTV! It saves me money (no need to pay for TV shows from iTMS), and it is so easy to use! I highly recommend this product to anyone (especially college students or others who live in tight spaces where having a TV and a computer poses problems)! Not only that, you don't need to buy an HDTV if you already have an iMac! You can even hook up an HD set-top cable box to the Hybrid (I know their web site says you can't, but I have done it - the picture isn't actually HD for that particular setup, but you still get the content, which would still be helpful for those with an iMac but not enough money for an HDTV)! You can also edit commercials out with the EyeTV 2 software. It's great! Seriously, save your money, forget TiVo and iTMS, and get this! You'll never regret it!

Transformers: HD-DVD

The first product feature for today is the Transformers: HD-DVD. I got really excited about this after reading about it on Film School Rejects. Having recently just got my own HD-DVD player for Xbox 360, I think this would be a good addition to my collection! I'm not gonig to get into the whole format war thing (don't really know what is better). Anyway, this two disc collectors set has a ton of features on it.

Some of these features include:

100% High Definition (except PiP)
1080p resolution
5.1 Dolby Digital Sound
Heads up display allowing multiple views of the film (schematics, etc.)
A special feature allowing you view all components of the robots in the film. (For example, all 10,000+ components to Optimus Prime)
"The Story Sparks" Insight into the Transformers Lore.
Tons of web enabled features such as "Intelligence view", which shrinks the screen but allows you to track the action on the globe, trivia, and a Transformers widget.

All that and of course a lot more are included on the Transformers: HD-DVD. If that's not enough to make you want to go out and grab it....

Don't forget that Transformers was awesome when you saw it in theatres, and even more awesome when you went out to go see it again in IMAX. I don't think all of the features from the IMAX film made it here, but this is a pretty awesome pickup anyway!

Mac OSX Leopard

My second product today, as promised! This one is for Mac OSX Leopard. I have always been a huge fan of Macs, and this is a huge release. It comes with tons of new features, and is sure to feature the Mac OSX stability that we're all used to. The release date is set for later this month, October 26th. So that's just about 9 days to pre-order the most exciting OS to be released recently! (Vista does not count)

The other is an update to the Mac Pro line. I can't wait to get one of those, I can really classify myself as a ProBlogger in that case. Get it, "Pro" Blogger? Ok, that was kind of lame.

Moleskine Notebooks

The Moleskine Notebookswill be the first of a couple product reviews I'm going to do today. This item goes great with the first product featured on this blog, the Space Pen. Moleskine notebooks is a high quality notebook with its origins in small French bookstores. Famous European writers, thinkers, and artists have used this notebook for centuries to jot down their notes, designs and ideas. A few of these include Van Gogh, Hemingway, and Picasso. That being said, I believe this is the another amazing tool for any blogger or writer.

The Moleskine Notebooks date back two centuries, when small French bookbinders would provide these notebooks for stationary shops visited by the avant-garde. It was extremely popular, as its usage by such famous people suggests. However, by the late 20th century, its production had nearly stopped. In 1986, the last French bookstore carrying these notebooks closed its doors. However, in 1998, a Milanese publisher brought the Moleskine Notebooksback. It once again began spreading around the world.

What a great history! but what about it makes it so great as a notebook? There are plenty of notebooks out there, so something has to make this one stand out! Here are some of the reasons:

Aliph Jawbone Bluetooh Headset

Today's featured product is the Aliph JawboneBluetooth Headset. This is another product that I would like but do not own. The wired headset that I am currently using is just getting in the way too much. I sit on it, constantly have to untangle it, and it's just annoying sometimes.

So what is it about the Aliph Jawbone that makes it so appealing? First off is the incredible design of the product. It just looks amazing. Designed by Yves Behar, it currently comes in three colors (all available in my A Store!). The silver or black are the ones that I would recommend. It is extremely lightweight, at a paltry 1 oz! It also can be worn on either ear, and comes with several ear loops to accomodate this.

Second is the technology. The Aliph Jawbone features noise cancelling technology to deliver the clearest sound in a Bluetooth headset. This technology, developed for DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) adjusts as the conditions around you change, making sure that you have the clearest possible sound on both ends of the call. The Aliph Jawbonealso detects when you are speaking, so it knows when to enhance your voice, and also automatically enhances the incoming voice on the call.

The Aliph Jawbone is one of CNET's highest rated bluetooth headsets, and has received nothing but rave reviews. I will be picking one up very soon, and I am sure that I will be pleased with it. Go out and get yours today!

The Aliph Jawbone runs between $85 and $120 on Amazon. It's a bit pricey, but I think its definitely worth it!

Space Pens

The first product that I'm going to feature is the Space Pen, by Fisher Pen Co. I first heard about the Space Pen from Darren Rowse over at Problogger, and he makes a good point about why they are such a good product. One of the most important tools for a blogger is his writing, and sometimes it's not the easiest thing to just sit down at the computer and just write. For example, I had to spend a few hours just considering what product I wanted to write about (there are so many!).

That being said, a Space Pen can be a very useful tool to a blogger. Yes, it is a pen, but sometimes pen and paper can be even better than the computer. You never know when you're going to come up with a great idea for a blog post, and having a pen handy can make the difference between having a great post, and a mediocre post. Without that pen handy, you might not have the idea that landed you on the front page of Digg!

Now what is so great about the Space Pen? It's no ordinary pen of course. Here are some of it's features:

The Pen can write at any angle, and can survive extreme conditions. (Great for underwater note-taking! ;-)
Excellent ink life. Some actually claim to last a lifetime!
Extremely smooth writing capability.
Writes through oil, grease, and shiny surfaces.
Will not leak!
Reasonable price for a quality product.

I found my PDA a pain to enter information into, and replaced it with a Space Pen and a pocket notebook. If you are a writing dork and want to carry a pen with you everywhere you go, perhaps in your back pocket with your jotting notebook, then you need the bullet Space Pen. It's small - about 3 inches long with the cap on - so it fits in your pocket. When you remove the cap and secure it to the bottom of the pen, it lengthens to a more comfortable size for writing. The chrome cap and body keep it from bending and bursting in your back pocket, and ruining the driver's seat of your car, not to mention some very comfy jeans.

Aside from all that, it doesn't clog and it writes immediately, every time. And it's not expensive compared to far fancier and less functional pens. Overall it's a great piece of gee-golly technology from the space age, that is also fully functional and practical.

I love the space pen. Period. It just plain works.

I keep mine in the little change pocket of my jeans, and that plus a Moleskine Cahier, I have a pen and paper at all times. Non-jean days it slips right in with my change. Some folks may prefer the gel inks, but they are far too smudgy for writing in a tiny book. I had a Cross Ion that I used before this, and all I got was smudge. These don't leak, they don't dry out, they always work. Each ink refill lasts alot longer.

It also is just the right size and shape to use as a worry stone. If you have fidgety hands, meet your new best friend. I often find I have subconsciously taken it out and started twirling it or playing with the cap. The chrome feel smooth and reassuring, the size fits perfectly in your hand.

And more. Generally great reviews on Amazon. I can't wait to get my hands on one of these, so I can get started writing away from my computer and jotting down all the ideas running through my head.

Hi everyone, and welcome to my product information blog. That's me on the right there. This blog is kind of an experiment from me (Most of my blogs have been experiments). In advance, I WILL be monetizing this site with Adsense and Amazon Ads. I'm going to be providing pretty much a review on a product that I am actually interested in. Let's see how much I can make from this. I can't say that it is all reviews, because some of the products I will not own myself, but is rather my opinion, and why I want it. If it is successful, I will move it over to wordpress with its own domain AND many more benefits for my readers.

You can help out here, and provide comments, especially if you have the product. There are always people out there who are interested in getting reviews of products before they buy them. However, please try to be as honest as possible. If something sucks, make sure that you state that. That way, you can be the most helpful to other people up there.
