<itunes:subtitle>An interview with Graham Bensinger and an homage to Dennys Reyes. Important.</itunes:subtitle>
<itunes:summary>Graham Bensigner started his own internet radio show when he was in the 8th grade. In 2003 (when he was 17), it got picked up by ESPN Radio and he's interviewed the likes of Pete Rose, David Stern, Mike Tyson and OJ Simpson. Now, he hosts his own series entitled "In Depth with Graham Bensinger" and conducts interviews with sportspeople. Additionally, he's from St. Louis and does stuff on the internet, so we figured he was suitable for our digital dojo.

Oh, and we also pay our proper respects to #36, Dennys Reyes...while also breaking down the Cardinals 2013 Promotional Schedule. Ground-breaking stuff.</itunes:summary>

With the acquisition of Jeff Fisher and complete roster makeover, their on-the-field evolution is clearly underway. In two weeks, the Rams have already become somewhat of a "sexy" pick for mainstream media as a team that is better than originally anticipated.

But their off-the-field transition hasn't been covered as much.

We're happy to welcome a man in charge of that transformation on to The JoeSportsFan Show. He is Brian Killingworth, the Rams VP of Marketing and Brand Strategy and we discuss everything from the #FisherStache campaign to James Laurinaitis' massive neck.

Seven days later, we come back with an interview with Cardinal Cowboy.

Admittedly, it's a bit of a curve ball. But it's part of our promise to bring some of St. Louis' finest superfans out of the woodwork and into your eardrums. Just like we did with St. Louis Superman and Rasmus Girl. The Cardinal Cowboy is a staple of the Busch Stadium bleachers. To put it into perspective, when Leach began his tenure at Spring Training in 2001, Rick Ankiel was on the mound, JD Drew was expected to be healthy, Dave Veres was three years away from retirement and everyone was getting their first glimpse of a rookie named Albert Pujols.

He's the man behind the camera. He's also has the best seat in the house: the exclusive camera pit next to the Cardinals dugout.

Sitting next to Mike Matheny with a zoom lens? Male or female, that's something we can all appreciate.</itunes:summary>

Our obsession with Mike Laga is well documented. Actually, check that. "Obsession" sounds unhealthy and if you're not enamored with a guy that hit a friggin' ball out of the old Busch Stadium, then maybe your psyche is the one that needs to be adjusted. Let's state that again: the man sent a ball out of Busch Stadium. Out. As in, not in.

We have a lifetime of questions piled up for Mike Laga and the miraculous event that has little so few answers. Even though he only spent three years in St. Louis, sending a baseball into a different stratosphere wasn't the only bizarre event during his tenure. Mike Laga is also featured on arguably the most atrocious baseball card ever produced by Topps. This week he celebrates his 52nd birthday, so we decided to track him down for Episode 12 of the JoeSportsFan Show.
