Marshall and Bre's Engagement Shots

So here they finally are! After a long and busy 2 week leading up to Christmas break, I finally found the time to upload these pictures. But anyways... Morris Ave.... One of my favorite places to do shoots like this. Not to traditional, but not to grungy. A good mix between the two. So one Sunday after church, I got Seth Burton to come with me to take these. It was cold and my hands were getting to the point to where I couldn't feel them. I might have to invest in some gloves ;) But anyways heres a couple of them. The rest can be viewed here.

This shoot has been my most fun one by far. And I will probably go deaf faster too.. So we were in this house in Harpersville (not just some random house, we were allowed to be there). It ended up turning out great. Cool house to take pictures in and a lot of old stuff that looked cool. And I got to play bass a little bit so that made it fun. But anyways... heres some shots I got.

I went out with Mikey and John Mark to take some pictures for their band's myspace. We went down by some river and got a couple shots. This was also the first shoot I used a flash, and for the first time, I was really pleased with it. So here's a couple shots I got. Check them out. GLO 08

So this weekend was Glo, the fall junior high retreat at Church of the Highlands. John Ball and Nathan Spicer came in town from Nashville to play and it was awesome let me tell you. God showed up in ways I wasn't expecting. The band played awesome!! I really enjoyed shooting Glo worship too. The lights were a little change from what I'm used to in Switch on Wednesdays. Lynse and Seth did a great job. So heres some shot I got.

New Apple Products

So for the first time in my blog history, this post isn't about my photography. It's about Apples new products... came out at about 1:30 while I was in graphic arts class at school. Guess who's going to be paying a visit to the Apple Store. But anyways here's a little run down.

1. MacBook and MacBook Pro's

First off they look gorgeous!! New LED Display looks stunning. The touch pad is genius. No button. The whole touch pad is the button. And it's glass. A+ with that one Apple.
New keyboard. Looks like the MacBook Air's, and it's backlit!!!
New graphics card as well. NVIDIA GeForce 9400M. Apple says its 5 times faster than the integrated Intel GMA chip in the older MacBooks. That should make some people happy.

The MacBook Pro's processors got a boost. There is now an optional 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. There is also an opional 320 GB 7200-rpm hard drive available in the MacBook Pro. Apple still hasn't made a 17 in model yet. Not sure if they will or not. I guess we will see.

It's looking like Apple is moving away from firewire 400. In the new MacBook Pro's, it only comes with a firewire 800 port. And no mini-dvi either. It's called a mini display port. It looks different so Apple didn't just change the name.

Now for what we all have been waiting for... a Apple display with iSight and built-in mic and speakers.

But not only that... it charges your MacBook and MacBook Pro. A little unexpected extra.

Well there's my little review on it all. I actually plan on stopping my the Apple Store today to check it out so I'll post about my experience. I might even include a couple of pictures.
