In some ways the world has come a long way in the past 25 years but in other way some of are just stuck in the past. I am not saying that to be mean, either.

With rise of media in almost every corner of the world, we have seen the fall of networks and media companies shift to individual bloggers, video content creators, and independent news reporters.

In some way I am one of those individuals who enjoys media to the point of considering publishing on a more regular basis because I now have the tools at my disposal to reach a worldwide audience. That in many ways, humbling, a daunting task. Considering, just 25 years ago, desktop publishing was just becoming more of thing though computers were already starting to become more powerful.

Nowadays, you do not need a computer. With the rise of mobile devices, and processors you can be a content creator anywhere, edit on the go, and then publish the final product when you choose to.

That, to me personally, is a lot but also not as challenging as feels it could be. It involves finding the right consistency. I want to deliver on being authentic to whomever comes across my work and words but also put out a good message.

That is why I am back, start now though you are not ready. It is about the repetition, just like my new job. The more I do it the better I become, improve daily. Gains every day!

Dear SAHS students,

First of all this is easier to share and it’s on my own public website so anyone wanting say anything against me really can’t because this is my own public site that I pay for at a public hosting provider.

If you’re wondering why I am no longer at SAHS, I decided to finally stop being a janitor or custodian. My main reason is honestly my mental health.

Also, I felt that I had outgrown the position even though I knew how the school operated and all the staff treated me well but it was time to move on.

I’m not getting younger but I’m still with Kanawha County Schools, just in a different position altogether. The workload is challenging but it is a white color job. Not as physically demanding as being a custodian but it does help keep me mentally sharp.

Anyways, I don’t want to keep you all very long because time is always running out for all of us. If you happen to miss me you can feel free to reach out. Have a amazing 2025-26 school year.

It’s time to start raining again. I’m not exactly sure about what but it’s something I need or I feel I need to do.

Is it going to be perfect probably not but what is life is maybe this will be the companion piece to my journey to 45 here by next month.

Simply put at least right now I feel pretty much more alive than I have in a long time.

I might actually get good at this technology stuff if I’m able to keep up with it I mean my 20-year certification and networking is kind of outdated but then again I could get back into it and actually make some money instead of being a broom pusher for the rest of my life which probably would help my mental health outlook.
