So where does that leave jonwatson.ca and, most importantly, Tales from the Motherboard?

I’m not sure.

I will always retain jonwatson.ca (and probably jonwatson.com) as they are near and dear to me, but at the moment they’re not serving a purpose. I think the right thing to do is to put parking pages in place until such time as I want to use the domains again, and then take down Tales from the Motherboard altogether.

I’ll ponder these fates for a little while longer, but thought I would give all 8 of my readers a change to chime in with ideas because I made the final decision.

I only recently stumbled across the Linux Hater Blog and while I am obviously a Linux fan-boi, I still enjoyed his posts because they really weren’t all that far off the mark. One thing the OSS community is good at, though, is taking it on the chin. Yes, we’re all zealots in our own way and we’re used to being pointed and snickered at. Still, I would have thought that someone with that much anger in him would have lasted more than 6 months.
