We recently had the honor of speaking at the Austin JUG (Joomla! Users Group). Inevitably, when we open up to Q&A after any presentation, one of the first questions is "What Joomla! extensions do you install on every site?".

Here is is! With tons of bugfixes, polishing and optimization, 2.1 stable is faster and cleaner than any previous version. Some of the major changes are listed in the changelog below. I highly recommend everyone to upgrade to this version. If you're still running Projectfork 2.0.x, read and follow this guide. The Projectfork stable release is just around the corner as this will be the final RC release for 2.1! I've spent a good amount of time removing all reported bugs and other things I've found in the past weeks. If everything goes well, you can expect the stable release to come out in 2/3 weeks from today.

Now that Projectfork is in its 2nd Release Candidate, complete with upgrade paths, we've put it into maintenance mode to find remaining bugs and fix as we approach a stable. This allows us to move onto updating Projectfork extensions for 2.1, and develop new extensions!

Yep, already RC2. Due to a (potential) critical bug in the update routine for the 2.0 series. The update would fail if your db table prefix was not "jos_". This is no longer the case with RC2. RC2 also contains a few minor bugfixes and theme changes (just restructured some of the code).

To update from RC1 to RC2, the procedure is as usual. If you want to upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1, please read and follow this guide step by step
