My name is Joshua Ferris. I am a Governance Strategist for the Service Employees International Union. I provide high-level support and programmatic assistance to local unions across the United States and Canada to support the transformation and modernization of local unions.

I am an organization development (OD) practitioner with expertise in program evaluation. Recently, I completed an Executive Certificate in Organizational Consulting & Change Leadership from Georgetown University. I have a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from The H. John Heinz III College at Carnegie Mellon University. My research interests include poverty analysis and the role of organized labor in poverty elimination. My interests in activism continue to include LGBT issues, economic justice, and international solidarity.
