Mayacama Wedding

I’m thrilled to share some photos from Jenny and Brian’s wedding at Mayacama! I loved working with them! Every part of their day was beautiful, but it was during Jenny’s dad’s speech- when everyone was tearing up, myself included- that I saw a new perspective on weddings from a parent’s point of view. You put so much into raising your kids and then you blink, and they are all grown up and you’re at their wedding. Seeing them so in love, excited, happy, full of potential, and fulfilled, like an extension of yourself- but fully their own; you’re flooded with memories, surrounded by the village that helped make it possible, you raise a glass to toast the newlyweds, beaming with a pride only the other parents fully understand. Thanks Jenny and Brian for letting me be a part of your lives.

Cornerstone Sonoma Wedding

I loved being a part of Brittany and Tim’s wedding at Cornerstone Sonoma. Every part of the day was gorgeous, but so much fun and also so them. I think meaningful and highly personalized details makes the day so much more special- like having one of their good friends preform the ceremony, the directional sign with all of the places that they’d lived, their nightly phrase that they say to each other “I love you. I love you more. I love you mostester. Rawr,” that was strung along the bushes leading guests to the ceremony site. They had photos from throughout their relationship on display, their reception entrance with the bridal party doing a choreographed *NSYNC dance, nutella favors, pie for dessert and their exit- they ran off dragging cans. It was a perfect day. It is an honor to have my photos of Neal and Anar’s wedding at Kunde Family Estate featured in the current issue of Modern Luxury’s Brides California Magazine! Their wedding weekend was so much fun, and it was insanely gorgeous with Shannon Leahy Events at the helm. We had an all star cast of vendors including florals by Michael Daigian Design, videography by Reel Eyes Media, catering by Amber India and a photobooth by Tomfoolery SF. They also had some shout out images in their Hitched in California section from Sean and Patty’s wedding at Bimbo’s 365 (with Dream a Little Dream Events) and Gina and Stephen’s wedding at the Presidio Social Club (with Rebecca Reategui Special Events). I love Green Wedding Shoes! They feature some of the most unique weddings- and they aren’t always the uber high end weddings either. I love when couples do something for their wedding that is totally them. I want to see their fingerprints all over everything! The music, flowers, dress, food, paper goods, locations… everything is an opportunity. Anyway, Green Wedding Shoes is full of couple’s who have done exactly that. Creatives and hipsters rejoice! I was so excited to see them feature a few of my shoots this summer :) Holler!
