A thirty years experience in the world of Made in Italy is the hallmark of a brand as Laltramoda, the result of the creative impulse of Salvatore and Anna Pianura, a company with a heart family seeking to create high fashion creations from different stylistic tastes for a woman envolved and careful to detail. Laltramoda today offers a new visual language and a new modernity that wants to make room for women of today, reminiscent of the past through an archive of memory , shown to our amazement, from which they acquire the hallmarks of the new autumn-winter 12-13. Floating silks adorn the bodies of mermaids dancing in natural colors, broken in the composure of wool and inlaid baroque embroidery that illuminate the full range of weights, from jacquard prints to jet prints for a soft and natural touch. They wanted to keep it hidden, but we discovered yesterday that Super sunglasses was invited to participate to the 2011 edition of Elton John’s White & Tiara Ball. This event, launched in 1999 by Sir Elton John and David Furnish, is a successful fundraising ball organized by the Elton John Aids Foundation and is set amongst thirty-seven acres of rolling English countryside next to the Windsor castle. Super created a spectacle specifically made to underline Elton’s flavor with astonishing artesan and skillful techniques, the model chose is People, hand covered in fine Italian white leather and in contrast with a unique Carl Zeiss electric blue faded lens, created especially for this special project. The soft yet sturdy matte silver arms complete the piece, and carry the signature RSF Limited Edition mark on one arm and the Elton John for EJAF description on the other. But it's not the end because all of the proceeds have been entirely donated to the fight against Aids. When fashion does good. Whoah!

Volevano tenercelo nascosto, ma ieri abbiamo scoperto la partecipazione di Super Sunglasses all'edizione 2011 di Elton John's White & Tiara Ball. L'evento lanciato nel 1999 da Elton John e David Furnish, è una raccolta fondi organizzata dalla stessa Elton John Aids Foundation che si trova in ben 37 acri di campagna Inglese vicino al castello di Winsdor. Super ha creato sotto la guida e i gusti di Mr. Elton, che ha saputo stupire con il suo sapere anche nel campo tecnico ( sappiamo che lui è un very addicted dell'occhiale), un pezzo unico partendo dal modello People, ricoperto di pelle bianca Italiana, in contrasto con lenti Carl Zeiss polarizzate di colore blu, create appositamente per questo progetto. A completare la raffinatezza del pezzo le stanghette color argento mat che portanto la firma RSF Limited Edition da un lato e Elton John for EJAF dall'altro. Ma non è finita perchè tutti i proventi sono stati interamente donati alla lotta contro l' Aids. Quando la moda fa del bene. Whoah!

The inspiration of the trip, the different cultures we meet during our journey are just some of the things that the photographer Yvan Rodic has impressed and observed in his shots, renowned for his street-style blog Face Hunter, on the podium of one of the most clicked website in the world. The third interview was a little off from the world we met with tailoring brand as Phonz Says Black and Camo, but at the same time is extremely related, fashion comes from street, by street style culture that for decades has demonstrated its creative and explosive force in all cities of the world and in different eras, from Punk to the Mods, from the Rockers to the Goth. Sacred fish, precisely depicting Koi, a good wishes's carp , for good luck .. red dragons, small temples, bars gold and silver are just some of the decorations that the East dedicate to one of the most important holidays, Chinese New Year , which celebrates the actual new year's day according to the Chinese calendar. Even though my obligations in New York that kept me away from the first day of Fashion Week in Milan during the presentation of men's collections, i was greeted on my return, for the first time, in a large family by the brothers Caten, undisputed and recognized around the world with the brand Dsquared2, seen on the runways since the early 90's and worn by stars like Madonna, Justin Timberlake and Robin Williams. Here i am in the company during the fitting for the long-awaited show, which i will discuss in the next few days, where i chose for the occasion 50's high waisted pink skirt combined with a cream tank top in silk and a natural cardigan with golden buttons in ... a must for this cold winter, the long coat with fur and camel-colored oversized pockets. On Twitter, for those who follow where i go, i announced that iwas pursuing a personal project with the filmmaker Alberto Chimenti Dezani actually dedicated to avant-garde fashion and photography closer to me and interesting. Many years passed in Florence, during the fair Pitti Immagine Uomo, spot emerging brands for my shop, discovering new reality in the fashion industry and by a couple of years catching with my camera the coolest streetstyle present at Fortezza. For this edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo 81 i wanted something different and here i present you with a video the intro to our project related to four interviews with a personal flavor and a shot to detail, which will highlight all the characters. Curious to know who are the respondents?
