It helps to hear from other people because I learn so much about the industry and how we all survive in it. A few months ago I was moved to start a podcast series that showcased actresses of color. I felt like a lot of the time “my story” was not being told or heard. </p> <p>I created <strong>“Beyond The Shade: Celebrating Actresses of Color”</strong> as a podcast/website that can be used as a sort or bonding and mentoring platform. I have been blessed to be able to interview some very talented actresses of various nationalities.
