DBA Biodegradable Pen

Let me start by saying this is only a band-aid solution (yes the pen is biodegradable, but it still takes energy to make the pen). Unfortunately there are still situations where disposable pens are the go-to option (banks, booths, promos) and DBA’s biodegradable pen is certainly a step in the right direction.

On a side note, DBA has some other great products in the works that deserve a looksie.

Haiti Poster Project: Preview

When the Haiti Poster Project invited us to produce a piece to help them reach their fundraising goal of $1,000,000.00 for Doctors Without Borders we leapt at the opportunity. We spent a solid block of time on concept and settled on a typographic statement imbued with positive vibrations and seven colors of ink. We reached to our friend Ray McDermott at Good Thoughts 4 All and got down to business on the ole automatic. Here’s a little peak between screens four and five and five and six. More soon.

Sketchbot Custom Show / MyPlasticHeartNYC

We’ve followed our friend Steve Talkowski’s progress designing, prototyping, and eventually producing his signature Sketchbot for about 2 years now. It’s been a wonderful process to witness and a testament to Steve’s talent, commitment and vision. To kick off what Steve’s calling “Phase 1″ of Sketchbot he’s teamed up with MyPlasticHeartNYC to throw a massive Sketchbot custom show. He’s assembled a spectacular cast of 50+ customizers. We’re humbled to have been invited and to have the opportunity to take part. We couldn’t be more psyched for Steve.
