To give you a sort of evolution of great animation shows, I would start with The Flintstones. Reason being, it was the first 30 minute prime-time animation show. Years later came along the Post-Modern age, flag shipped by The Simpsons, which kicked family oriented animated TV shows in the rear. [Read More...]

The success of The Simpsons were followed by even more outrageous, wild, and courageous cartoons with their own distinctive style and humor. Beavis and Butthead and South Park shot to fame in the '90s as both franchises made feature films at the height of their popularity. The '00s were a free for all with cartoons and animation all over the everywhere. With the success of the internet, Family Guy, and Adult Swim, random knock-a-bouts thought it was easy to make cartoons and that the art can be achieved by anyone. "All you have to do is make the mouths move" = Fail. Yet, there are plenty of cool cartoons online and TV, yet, there is something missing. Yet, something that captures a generation and forms new ones. Yet, a show that people drop everything just to watch. Yet, something original and something different from fresh creative brains and new blood and energy. A show that would give animation a kick in the rear again. A show like "Tim Cain Presents The Metaphoric Comedy That Is... Joy Summers."

This show is the best show yet to be seen, mainly, it's all there. From the humor, the characters and world, the writing, the style and look, to the performances, and the time and care from its creators. This show has it all, not to mention its intangibles, which will make audience members go bizerk. Most importantly, this "cartoon" has a voice; saying something that nobody seems to be saying, or even gets. It is a satirical/surreal "rated R" comedy that talks about the seen and unseen nature of things that give you actual facts/information in a hilarious fashion all in a central metaphor. The best, yet, unseen show premieres on September 26, 2013. After viewing a couple episodes or the even the whole season, maybe someone else can write a review. Enjoy yourselves.

Joy Summers™ DIREC TV "DON'T" SPOOF

When Joy Summers' laptop gets possessed by a computer virus, she has no other alternative but to call on one thing... 'The AntiVirus'. This Halloween episode is a spoof on the 1973 classic, 'The Exorcist'.
It has been a long and tiresome wait, but Joy Summers and company have finally arrived with their first episode. The first one's not a trick, it's a treat; a Halloween episode spoof on 'The Exorcist' that made peeing on the floor look cool.

Joy Summers most prized possession is her laptop named BLISS, but when she leaves it open one night, scary things start to happen. Joy wants it to be anything except a computer virus. Unfortunately it is, causing a lot of problems, Ouija boards and filthy filth. So what happens next when The Geek Mob assistance fail. Forget a new motherboard, I'm calling The AntiVirus.

This episode is a certified hit that will keep you laughing, and going "wha-tha-fah" out loud. It delivers on raunchiness, cleverness, and absurdity. If you are already a fan of the show, expect more Post-Moderate 1/5th hour episodes and a bung load of characters and stories along the way.

Mr.Graiderville is a mystery to all. Legend has it that he has no age or heart. Some don't even think he's human. Weird? Not if you're living in the town of Ankweddle.

Mr. Graiderville is the oldest and creepiest person in town, so naturally, you pick on him, especially if your names are Chet, Charlie, Levi, Jack, Big Jare, and Tyler. Mr.Graiderville has no one except for his beloved robotic dog named Broostr-47. Broostr-47 wasn't always a robot, in fact his original name was Brooster, but something happened, enabling some misspelling and the numbers 4 and 7. After that "something," Graiderville and Broostr-47 have been inseparable and unnaturally close. Like any old person, Mr.Graiderville wants to have a clean yard and to be left alone, but when tempers arise and generations clash, he spews out everything wrong with the youth and calls them little douchbags.
So icky that they take the class out of classic are, the _____ICs [pronounced: icks], the closest group of guy friends the world just has to accept and take in.

All of the stars were inline when these guys fell in love. The birth of the group came out of the early grades of elementary school. Chet, Charlie, and Levi where all in a 1st grade class together, but Chet and Charlie became best buds when Charlie stood up for Chet when Chet got in trouble for acting like a flagpole. Charlie later introduced Chet to this band named Metallica and Levi later joined the pair.
Introducing Jack Cooledge. Jack is cool, too cool to be exact; it's in the name. As the new kid in town, young Jack took this persona and ran with it, yelling out "I'm cool!" just about everywhere he went. Jack is also high on emotion and is very sensitive. An incident happened where some girl accidentally stepped on his foot, causing him to cry and yell "you bitch!" Levi met Jack in the 3rd grade when Jack was sitting alone on a bench during Levi's soccer practice. Jack was alone because a girl he liked in class promised she'd meet him there. After practice Levi came up to Jack to ask him what's the matter. Charlie later joined and concluded with "play Metallica!"
When Big Jare came to town. Two years later, after establishing their name, brand, purpose, and blasting Metallica's "Creeping Death" everywhere they went, the four kids: Chet, Charlie, Levi and Jack were on a roll and tearing up Petersblume Elementary School. But something new approached. Something big. Something black. His name was Big Jare, and he was nothing to mess with. If Jack is cool, Jare is big, very big. He stood about three Charlies and 1/2 Levi. Chet and Jack instantly recruited him for the football team. At the end of the season, Chet, Jack, and Big Jare, along with the rest of the football team, wore the prestige and trophies around their neck as they went undefeated. Big Jare joined the 'ics the summer of that year, converting Big Jare's music of choice from R&B & Gospel to Metal.
No! Shut up Tyler! After making hell in middle school, the five were off to high school, Ankweddle, the place they've been talking about since kids. The 'ics transition didn't start off that grand as Jack and two week girlfriend over the summer, Melony, broke up (no thanks to Treevis). The 'ics were separated in most of their classes which made it difficult for the new freshmen to act out during class. Jack always kept an eye out for Melony, unfortunately for Jack, other guys did as well. One of whom being Tyler. Tyler comes from another place and time where all of the guys resemble James Spader from Pretty In Pink. Jack instantly didn't like Tyler, as Jack labeled him "too douchie" and "queer." Jack came to Tyler's aid the same way Levi did when he saw Melony slap Tyler across face. The rest of the 'ics accepted Tyler as one of their own, but it took awhile for Jack. Jack and Tyler developed an odd and unique relationship, friends but not really. Their famous ongoing argument would go:

Tyler: Look Jack, there's Melony.
Jack: I don't care... I gotta new girl.
Tyler: Really, what's her name Jack?
Jack: Kay... ke, Kate... Kate Feckinsdale.
Tyler: Sounds like, Kate Beckinsale?
Jack: No! Shut up Tyler!

With the traits of a little girl going to town with some nail polish, ignorance is bliss with Victoria. Since she can attend any college that she wants in the world, she really doesn't give any clue about her C to C- average or major events happening around her. All she cares about are her friends, her most favorite possessions which include her car, phone, clothes, shoes, handbags, sunglasses, clothes, car, shoes, phones, and handbags, and whether or not her brother Levi is hanging around the vicinity of arch rival Joy Summers. By being pretty, rich and popular, she doesn't care for any guy in Ankweddle, CO. As a matter of fact, she has her dates imported from like Italy, Spain, or wherever they make tall dark men with great fashion senses and a romantic accent. Yeah, no, she literally has them imported; she can do that. Besides her foreign mannequin boyfriends and smelling like tulips, Victoria has one reoccurring problem, she keeps losing her phone, but whenever found she belts out this phrase: "... AND I WAS LIKE WOWZERS!"

Rachel Tobey is the meanest, vulgarest, coldest, rebellious, most tardiest detention getting, heart-crushing, man-eating harlot anyone has ever came across, and that's why she is "WHAT'S AWESOME!" Rachel Tobey grew up near the wheat filled farms of Ankweddle, CO along with her close-in-age sister, Danica, and little brother Phillip. In the early years, Rachel wasn't necessarily "the golden child," but she had promise; if you can count out all of the fights, referrals, suspensions, and smoking in bathrooms. Always compared to her younger and brighter sister Danica, Rachel ditched school for several days, enabling her to flunk and take the fourth grade all over again. If Victoria's gentlemen friends are like five star restaurants, Rachel's are more like fast food, greasy and dirty that will eventually leave you fat. The queen of getting kicked out of class, Rachel does not get good grades or reputations and is the envy of all goal seekers. Rachel is one bad apple bottom that truly doesn't give, and that is what makes her attractive to so many men twice her age.

What do get when you mix llamas with some candy and a preschool morning show, the answer, Brittany Wiggle. Brittany Wiggle is pure energy and excitement. At points when she gets so excited, she lets out this inhumane "noise thing." Brittany's love for llamas is unbearable. She was seven months old when she saw her first llama and boom, that was the world. As a matter a fact, her first word was llama, followed by that "noise thing," and at age eight, Brittany's grandma bought Brittany her first real llama. Brittany is also a scatterbrained spacewomen who dips in and out of her fantasy world from time to time. She is quite the bookworm as well. If you ask Brittany to spell "bookworm," she would ponder if someone has put a spell on a worm that turned it into a book. She has to dye her hair a different color every couple of weeks to correspond with the Universe or something. Unofficially voted the "Most Silliest Yet Cutest," Miss Wiggle knows no enemies. Everybody likes her, in someway, shape or form, guess cause all Brittany Wiggle knows is love... her love for "LLAMAS!"

The Wowzers!

Originally from Famesville, CA, but now residing in Ankweddle, CO after parents went splitso, Treevis, real name Travis Gabelston, is a creepy genius.

A self proclaimed thinker, cause he thought of it, Treevis is a free-spirited young soul who always wants to be the first one to do the first thing. Thinks very highly of himself and thinks everything is obsolete, including the very world we live in. Egocentric is an understatement and possibly the most down right cruelest/bitterest person of the whole town if things don't go his way. Does the sneakiest stuff on purpose for mere pleasure, like the time he lost Frex's notes to a quiz on purpose. Creepy genius, Treevis, is always scheming, planning, and manipulating for things to go according to the ways of him and the dreaded Student Council. Besters are Melony, Tabetha, and... DANICA! [sidebar] Treevis cannot stand Danica. A 17 year old junior at Ankweddle High School, Treevis is in a lot of activities, groups, and clubs, and as the list follows: Junior Student Body President, Student Council (9, 10, 11) National Honor Society (9, 10, 11) H.E.L.P (9, 10, 11) Environmental Club (9, 10, 11) Arts for Hearts (9, 10, 11) Newspaper (9, 10, 11) Yearbook (9, 10, 11) Drama: Fashion Designer, Asst. Art Director, Actor (9, 10, 11) Speech (9, 10, 11) Dance Choreographer (11) Multi-Cultural Club (9) Honor Roll (9, 10, 11) Girls Soccer Manager (9, 10) Softball Manager (9, 10) 1st Prize Designer Challenge (9, 10)… and to be determined. Even though Travis Gabelston seems like a down right flick, he really wants in the larger pattern in life is to be the most innovated, grandest, effective artist/ thinker/ innovator/ philosopher/ of all time; and World Peace, and love, and joy. Her and her milky-warm clear skin loves to eat dry artificially flavored fruited cereal but a hit or miss for finding the cheesy toy key chain prize at the bottom of the box. She's in love with her bedroom, her laptop nicknamed Bliss, and sitting underneath "the tree" at Sherroll Butts Park where her magical guide Fernando, an approx. 761 lbs gorilla, appears when she's ever in doubt. Favorite sayings include stuff like, "dectabulous" (pronounced deck-tab-u-lus) meaning 10 levels of fabulous; clean, another sharp word of choice she loves to whip out when describing something cool, neat, or swell. Joy is in the junior class of Ankweddle High School where she attends most of her classes with her bestest friend Frex, and her buddies although underclassmen, Ellen, and Goodmen. As all of us, she wants things to go her way; at school, home, or just about everywhere, but as for a chosen few of us, she's the scapegoat and gets blamed for everything. Plus, to make matters worst she has the cutest little eight year old sister ever. Oh, and on occasion, she experiences surrealistic type of events such as invasions by unknown forces, exorcisms, possessions, ghosts, aliens, robots, mind-control devices, the people from school, old people, and other monstrous fudged up beastly things she has to deal with from time to time. Through everything she tries to keep level by her friends, the 761 lbs gorilla under the tree, Fernando, and her parents with a simple phrase: "Life is like summer, full of joy."

Meet Frex. Her real name is Adrian Roddick but talented and creative people call her Frex, and she is Joy's trustiest bestest friend ever. Like a Samewise to a Frodo, when ever in need, Frex can "carry it for awhile." Joy and Frex met when they were seven, after the passing Joy's dog; they've been inseparable ever since. Unlike Joy, Frex gets "The Big Picture" after a mysterious accident at very young age. She's so positive and happy all the time that her name should be Joy Summers. Frex has to smile up to 3000x a day, at least. She has an older twin brother named Chet, he's a flagpole. Frex is naturally red-headed and couldn't stand her freckles so one time Frex smiled so huge like that all of her freckles burst, disappeared and vanished into the air, later, it snowed causing "The Great Blizzard of July." Frex, she's clean, happy, and fresh, plus, she's oh so op-tim-is-tic.

Meet Ellen Warner. One of Joy's buds. You can say she's a conspiracy theorist but she'll tell you that she just questions everything. Always looking for clues, rat races, and set-ups, it's not a coincidence that her last name is "Warner." Nothing gets over her head or beneath her nose especially if it smells extra fishy. Like the time when Treevis was a teacher assistant and giving everyone bad marks, Ellen was there to stop it to save Connie's GPA. Yep, Ellen's modern day Kolchak. If there's a case, she'll debunk it to the extreme knowing that she lives in the bizarrified Ankweddle, Colorado where something goes on just about everyday. She has a knack for unmasking shapes that shift, seeing the unseen, batting down spiderwebs in "keep out" areas and is not afraid to step into the other side to investigate the paranormal. And Student Council would've gotten away with it if it wasn't for that meddling Ellen Warner.

Goodmen... doesn't really do anything, he just there, hanging out with three chicks, in the background quiet as a pebble. The only things he seems remotely interested in are unsigned and/or unpopular alternative rock bands which include: proAnti, The 7 Ways To Saturday, The People vs. Tessie, The Killer Action Movies, A Pen's Soul, Tripply The Musical, The Rain Globes, In Letter 15, Pretty People in Fancy Clothes, The Guilt Troupe, Bud's Bundies, S for Happy, The Year We Came, Franklin Popular, and, and, and. Other than that, well...

Joy, Frex, Ellen, and Goodmen also known as The Kids are the four "main"-ers but stick around because these guys compared to the rest are quite the norm.

BLANG!
