It was entertaining and fun although half of the time running my twins, Preston keep on telling me ” mommy, stop…my tummy hurt ooh….If I continue running I’ll die you know.” Hahahaha that was his excused for not running. Josh and Presley were way ahead of us whereby the hubby busy taking pictures

Mommy!!!! I can never tired of hearing it. I love it in any ways my children call me, in happiness or in sadness, I can never feel tired of hearing them calling me

I know the moment I decided to become a MOM, I know it is a full time job.  There are moments, though, when I wish that I could just be myself, doing all the things that I like to do without worrying about cleaning, cooking and taking care of the kids.  I never thought I can have my own time until I stumble into this TIPS from Jumpstart.com how can I have my own time and distress myself from the chaotic schedules, never ending chores and tantrum-a-minute toddler.  I hope the tips offer some help to you mothers out there as it does to me

1. Delegate tasks:

   Good managers do not try to do everything themselves, and neither should you. Hiring a couple of maids may not be an option, but the kids and their dad can certainly chip in and lend a hand or two. Encourage kids to help around with small chores at an early age, and you will see how much of a difference this can make later! While the kids may not like the idea about doing the chores initially, they will gradually get into the habit of taking responsibility for certain tasks, which can certainly help free up some of your time!

2. Exercise:

   Go for a long walk every morning, jog down the block, or join a sports league for adults and make some new friends while you get an excellent workout. The possibilities are endless! You could also sign up for yoga class and make relaxation an intrinsic part of your day. Regular exercise keeps you fit, minimizes health risks, and helps you juggle all the curve balls life throws at you.

3. Smile, laugh, chuckle:

   The health benefits of laughter have been pretty well documented and we all know how contagious humor can be. Laughter boosts your immune system and is one of the most powerful remedies for stress. Find a reason to smile and laugh every day.

4. Indulge:

   An afternoon at the spa gives you that precious ‘me-time,’ when you can switch-off, de-stress, relax and come away feeling and looking beautiful. The use of a trained massage therapist can improve your blood circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system and release the ‘feel-good’ hormone Serotonin, that makes you feel on top of the world.

And finally, take time out to relax. Easier said than done, right? Not if you carve out a little time during the day for deep breathing exercises, a cup of refreshing herbal tea or a (moderately) long soak in the bath with your favorite magazine. Anything that floats your boat, as long it helps you stay calm and relaxed!

Last night, Presley asked me if I know what is clarinet and I was stunned for a while because I honestly never heard that word before :LOL: but I didn’t tell him instead I asked him back where does he heard this word. He told me he heard it from his teacher and asked me the same question again. Then I told myself since he heard it from his teacher then it is ok to admit to him I don’t know for I know the teacher must have explained it to him

So, what is it? Clarinet is a type of music instrument or woodwind instrument that has a single-reed mouthpiece, a straight cylindrical tube with an approximately cylindrical bore and a flaring bell. A person who plays the clarinet is called a clarinetist or clarinettist. And I found out (by google) that there are many types of clarinets of differing sizes and pitches, comprising a large family of instruments. Today, the clarinet is used in jazz and classical ensembles, in chamber groups, and as a solo instrument. All this information I got from internet ok, my son only told me it is a music instrument which his teacher told them during one of their music class

So, if any of you out there wanted to learn to play this instrument, check your wallet and get an affordable clarinet reeds as the cost of this instrument not cheap. So, if mother vs teacher in explaining things to kids, who win?   ^~~^

Me: Ok, get your pencil and exercise book, lets practice.

Preston: No need..teacher says only do it on that day.

Me: I know, but need to practice so that you know how to write the strokes.

Preston: No need mommy, I know already. No need to practice (and walked off)
