Popular Science and Zinio Launch Digital Magazine

Popular Science announced the launch of a new, exclusively digital multimedia magazine, the PopSci Genius Guide. The move makes Popular Science the first-ever major consumer publication to use enhanced digital technology from Zinio, which enables online readers to interact with the multimedia publication by viewing videos, animation and rich media files embedded in stories and advertisements throughout the entire magazine.

Zinio Global est agréé par l'Office de contrôle de la diffusion des médias en France

L'OJD, l'association chargée en France du contrôle de la diffusion des médias, a confirmé l'adhésion de Zinio Global comme membre associé. En contrepartie, Zinio accepte d'être contrôlé par l'OJD, ce qui implique des audits réguliers.

Cette adhésion est importante pour les nombreux groupes de presse associés à Zinio et pour les éditeurs français qui souhaitent élargir leur diffusion au travers du kiosque numérique www.zinio.com. En effet, depuis le 1er janvier 2009, tout titre de presse, membre de l'OJD, a la possibilité, s'il le souhaite, d'inclure dans sa diffusion payante sa version numérique de type pdf.

La définition numérique retenue par l'OJD est issue des standards internationaux de l'IFABC (Association des Bureaux de Contrôle de la Diffusion dans le monde) avec, notamment, l'obligation que la version numérique corresponde bien à l'entier contenu rédactionnel et publicitaire imprimé par ailleurs.

Plus largement, la mission de l'OJD est de certifier la diffusion, la distribution et le dénombrement des journaux, périodiques et de tout autre support de publicité.
Les résultats de ses contrôles constituent une référence essentielle, par exemple, pour l'élaboration des tarifs de publicité des supports certifiés.

Les chiffres de l'OJD servent aussi, dans de nombreux cas, de base de référence pour les pouvoirs publics, l'administration, les tribunaux, etc... lorsque se pose la question de connaître avec exactitude la diffusion de certains supports.

I come back. More news to tell you, a new house, a new Vaio (Z Series !!!), a lot of changes to adapt my life with my family and the needs of my job.

More of you know more concretely what I am talking about. I would thank them for supporting me during this migration from Montpellier to Paris.

Not easy to involve all my family in this project.

This is an evidence for me that the potential of growth is higher today in Paris, even if life is better in the French Riviera. Wait and see.
