Thank you to everyone that helped make this year’s Summerfest a big success, we raised over $1200
selling cotton candy and glow items! The Juniors had an awesome float in the parade!

The Windham Town Council had approved our request for more funding for our trail system. The
portion of the snowmobile registration money that the Town of Windham receives will now be used in
its entirety to maintain the trail system and our equipment.

The work on the three Bombis began and much progress has been made. Each Bombi is being
stripped down and given the attention they each badly needed. New tires, alternators, bearings,
welding, wiring, seals, fresh paint and more is happening Tuesday and Thursday evenings at Joe
Sayah’s garage. Anyone interested in helping can contact Joe at 310-0377.

Our first club meeting is going to be held at Gilbert’s Chowderhouse in Windham on Monday,
September 12 at 7pm. If you would like to order food or beverages, please arrive a little early to place
your order in the main dining room with a member of the waitstaff as there will not be anyone
available in the meeting room to take your order. You will be able to bring your dinner/beverages to
the meeting room if you so desire.

2011/2012 MSA/Windham Drifters SC membership cards have arrived and will be available for you
to pick at the meeting so bring your checkbook or some cash.

“Irene” is sure to have done a number on some of our trails as she did to some of our own yards so
keep your chainsaws sharpened and your gloves handy as we’ll certainly have plenty of trail work to
do before the snow flies.

We are going to meet at the club shed located behind Richardson’s on Rt 302 at 8:30am Saturday morning. No tools are needed but people may want to wear boots as there may be some wet areas.
