This post is all about some random photos I've taken during the last few days in Sandakan.

Its beautiful morning on the second morning I arrived back to Sandakan and we're heading to crave for more food!
The famous place to have breakfast while enjoying sea view - Sim Sim

We actually visited two shops here, one at Sim Sim Bridge 7 while the other one at Bride 8.

Pei Dan Gao in curry sauce, this is really good !

Tea time at Siang Siang Pan Mee while getting Eric accompanied for his "breakfast".

It has been quite a while since I had gathering with these fellas and we just kept changing places for food and chit chat. The famous Squid with vegetables in sweet and sour sauce.

Together with the famous fried dumpling, this is really good!

Finally went to had some light beer at Taman Indah.

I just love this place. Relaxing :)

It's good to be back at home town - Sandakan

It has been almost 3 years since I last travel back to my hometown - Sandakan for Chinese New Year, I booked my ticket last year during June in order to avoid extremely expensive air ticket for last minute booking.
Got up at 4am in the morning and head to LCCT, "watching" tv while waiting for boarding. It has been raining really heavily which delayed the flight for about an hour which left us waiting beside the boarding lane due to the heavy rain.

When I saw this red Jambu tree, I know that I'm home. This tree has been really that big already.

My mom's dog, she had a pig-like face. Funny fella.

Food hunting begins. The famous "Loong Zai" egg tart together with herbal tea. Best for tea time.

Had the first gathering with a bunch of buddies at the famous Seafood Bak Kut Teh. You can never find these other than Sandakan.

Had a short walk at Mile 4 Bandar Kim Fung night market, my first visit!

Nothing much but just some casual foods and drinks.

Had a small bowl of soup cooked by mom before light dinner. (As I'm heading out for more food later on)

Got myself a cup of ice white coffe at Old Town after that. Met up with few more buddies.

Moving on to Old City Cafe in IJM after that, soft drinks. Sorry for the extremely dark photo.

Final round, another bowl of gon lao mee hon at the other stall at Mile 4 Pasar again. LoL

OBD2 bluetooth adapter linked with Mazda 3 via Torque Pro!

I've got to know about this stuff through a friend on Facebook where he used the same channel to connect his Samsung Galaxy Note to his vehicle through a OBD2 -> Bluetooth Adapter. I've been browsing online for a software as a media to this and found out that there's tons of readings you can acquire through this.

So I was thinking, why not get one for myself instead of buying the expensive Greddy Info Touch?
This adapter is really cheap, Rm99 each. Not something branded but it works like a charm, the red LED lights up whenever you plug it into your OBD2 Port.

Torque Pro - I am using the *E-hem* version so its free, do a simple google search if you want to use the Pro version instead of Lite version.

The rest of the LED starts blinking when the bluetooth connection has been established.

One good thing about this application is that it can read error code through the OBD2 port and you can even clear the simple error code other than the faulty code like O2 Sensor error in which you will need the assistance from the mechanic.

Tons of gauges and readings in you can choose to custom your own page. You get to choose what you like to show up. Green color indicates active sensor which the reading is available for your vehicle.

This application can even measure 0 - 100km/h, 0-100m and an estimated on wheel horse power!

Koyo ATF Cooler for Mazda 3 BL installed !

The Mazda 3 originally comes with a water-oil-exchanger but it is way too small when it comes to aggressive driving. I don't want my auto tranny to give up so soon so I got this Koyo ATF Cooler installed at EA Autoworks.

Very neat job done by Drex Chan , this thing is working great and I can really feel the differences, even after some hard run, the gearbox is still very responsive!

Perhaps, the fastest Mazda 6 in Malaysia

This Mazda 6 was featured in Hypertune Magazine recently (Don't ask me, I've forgotten which issue was it.) Very aggressive mods this monster had indeed, it was running on 300hp on wheels, it is still on its auto tranny. (With reinforced torque converter for sure)

Turbine hidden under the manifold, couldn't really snap a picture of it.

Big 6 piston caliper paired with 330mm floating rotor.

Cosworth intake manifold, this too, cost a bomb.

The engine bay is really packed and this is view is really additive !

Don't get too surprised if you get smoked by this blue monster on the road, owner is getting ready for Stage 3 400 horse power upgrade soon.

The first meet up with Mazda 3 Club Malaysia

It was the first meet up (It's just me who never join any of their gathering) with the Mazda 3 club Malaysia. Met up at Hailam Kopitam at Bukit Jalil around 7:30pm.

Had light dinner before heading to Speed City @ Selangor Turf Club next. It was some casual meet up, nothing much so please just enjoy the photos after the jump.

New 4 pot brake system for my Mazda 3 !

It has been so much of hassle getting this set of 4 piston brake kit back by myself directly from Taiwan. Glad that everything's finally over and I could finally got this set installed in my Mazda 3.

The original caliper and rotor behind the 18" wheel, damn small eh?

Yeah it still looks small, thanks to the 18" wheels lol.
After using it for one night, found out that the braking power wasn't really that scary as described like some said but the difference is that you don't need to press that much on the pedal in order to achieve your desired braking.

Manage to fork out some time and send my car to Kakimotor Maluri today and get the custom railing done for the Mazda 3. Million thanks to Ah Hon for spending on so much of effort in getting this done. The result is truly satisfying!

Now this reminds me of my Satria Neo.

It has been awhile since I last had a full bucket in my ride. Apart from the SSCUS IMOLA which I had in my Satria Neo (Which I sold off at January 2011). I've been sitting in super loosen and comfy seats on the Caldina GT4 and my Mazda 3.

Some jerk in my office turns off 2 out of the 3 air conditioner just BECAUSE SHE FEEL COLD. Go and get yourself a jacket, be considerate and think about your OTHER colleague which sits in the corner which is HOT.
For the time being, I've got no other choice but to get this fan for myself. Yes, it helps.

I just couldn't recall how long and how many times I've been telling myself that I wanted to start writing post and keep this blog alive however work load just don't allow me to do so. Some of my readers might have already noticed that my post have been really inactive for the past years.

A lot of things happened since last year, I've graduated and start working. I sold off my Satria Neo (I get to know the most of my friends during the time when I'm still driving my Neo), bought a Toyota Caldina GT4, and...I've won a Mazda 3 1.6L off from Hong Leong bank.Sounds unbelievable but its like what I've always been dreaming off. Winning off something from nothing, that's it.
Just like my any other car, hands are always itchy, I can never stop myself from car modding.
The car didn't stay in its "original form" for more than 2 weeks

N gets a fresh oil change

I've finally got my hands on this beautiful 10w-40 Torco SR-1 fully syn engine oil after waiting for around 2 weeks after getting my N-spec.

Gotten the rest of the parts like ATF, ATF filter, ATF gasket and oil filter. All parts were genuine and purchased at Wing Hin, the famous genuine Toyota parts distributors.

Feels so good after changing the fluid, acceleration makes more easier!

Check out the photo I found on google, it's a comparison between GT4 N-spec, GT4 and ZT 's seats from left to right.

I've always thought that GT4 N-spec and GT4's seats were the same, its only being wrapped in different fabric.
