Obama, “Mr. Jones it is a pleasure to meet you.”

Jones, “Barak, you can call me ‘Johnny’.”

President, “Johnny, you should address me by my official title, ’Your Eminence’. Tell me about yourself.”

Jones, “ Your Eminence, I just turned 27. My dad has kicked me out of the basement and said it was time I found a job.”

President, “What experience do you have?”

Jones. “I’ve spent weeks with the Occupy Wall Street movement and have been arrested twice for disorderly conduct.”

President, “That’s impressive, what job are you applying for?”

Jones, “Secretary of State.”

President, “Tell me what do you know about the Chile situation?”

Jones, “I like mine spicy hot.”

President, “I see, what about Turkey?”

Johnny, “I only eat the white meat.”

President, “Tell me about the Euro crisis?”

Johnny, “What crisis, you owe, I owe, who cares. I do have some student loans, but I plan to default.”

President, “You seem eminently qualified to serve in my administration.”

Individually some of Obama’s appointments are startling, collectively they are frightening and provide real insight into Obama’s governing philosophy.

Geithner, Treasury, oversees the IRS and can’t even pay his own taxes while endorsing more federal debt. Salazar, Interior, has overseen the largest reduction in energy production from government leases in history and says even $10/gallon gas wouldn’t change his position on US energy production.

Chu, Energy, Managed billions in bad green energy loans, publicly supports EU level gas prices for America, oh, he doesn’t drive a car. Solis, Labor, sought to turn over farm training programs run by Future Farmers of America and 4H to the government.

Holder, Attorney General, selectively enforces discrimination laws, stating these laws only apply to minorities and believes furor over his mismanagement of “Fast and Furious” gun running operations is driven by racial animus against him.

That’s only the tip of the iceberg and not even mentioning the crazy Czars Obama has appointed. Do you think he might have a radical anti-American agenda?

He has chosen the single word, “Forward” as his battle cry—it’s the theme of Carl Marx and Fredrick Engle’s 1848 book, “The Communist Manifesto”.

If Obama was looking for a single word slogan to describe his first term and build expectations for his second term, He should have chosen “Charge”, not as in John Wayne leading the cavalry, but as in “Will that be Visa or MasterCard?” since he’s borrowing 40 cents on every dollar he is spending.

Obama’s vision for tomorrow may be bright and shiny, but it’s certainly not tried and true. There is no historical proof that collectivism and socialism has ever built a successful and prosperous culture. Rather, the historical record proves the utter failure of that approach.

Perhaps, in contrast, and acknowledging that America’s greatness and future potential lies in her founding principles of smaller government, personal freedom and individual responsibility, the conservative battle cry ought to mimic that classic 1990’s movie, “Back to the Future.”

“Obama: ‘Soldiers Fighting on My Behalf’”. What a narcissist.

“Fed Clears China’s First US Bank Takeover”. Do you speak Chinese yet?

“Occupy DC Gets Office Space with Money From SEIU”. I doubt if the union members voted for that use of the dues which they are forced to pay to keep their jobs.

“Environmental Groups Collecting Millions from Federal Agencies They Sue”. An excellent use of taxpayer dollars don’t you think?

“Judge Says Texas Not Allowed to Cut Funds for Planned Parenthood”. Has anyone ever heard of the 10th amendment?

“Obama and GM Cook the Books”. Naw, say it aint so! Obama would never be a part of anything deceitful, would he?

“Government Workers Got $439M in Bonuses in 2011”. How big was your bonus last year?

“Governor Bobby Jindal, ‘Obama Never Ran a Lemonade Stand’”. You think that explains the economic mess he’s gotten us into?

The popular myth is that the liberals are the champions of minority rights, but the truth is far different. Liberals see minorities as a voting block to be curried in elections and then abandoned—that is, unless minority preferences can be used for personal advantage.

Take liberal icon Elizabeth Warren for example. She’s a pale blond New England matriarch running for US Senate in Massachusetts. You know Ms Warren, ”She’s a Cherokee woman”. At least she claimed, “She’s a Cherokee woman”, in order to land a prestigious faculty position at Harvard Law School.

Her claim, “She’s a Cherokee woman”, gave her a minority status and Harvard, under fire at the time for lack of faculty diversity, was only too willing to proudly list her as part of their “diverse” faculty.

So, her claim, “She’s a Cherokee woman” advanced her career, but it turns out she’s at best only 3% more “Cherokee woman” than I am a space alien.

Much like the composite girlfriend that Obama created in his autobiography, “Dreams of My Father”, Julia is not a real person, but one dreamed up in Obama’s imagination to let us know how life would be in an Obama utopian nanny state. Here are the highlights:

At 3 Obama sends Julia to Head Start. By 17 Obama has provided Julia a high school diploma. At 18 Obama provides Julia with a college loan. At 22 Obama pays for Julia’s surgery. At 23 Obama gets Julia a job. At 27 Obama pays for Julia’s contraception needs enabling her to be successful in the workplace. At 31, under President Obama, Julia decides to have a child. At 37 Obama provides for Julia’s son’s education. At 42 Obama allows Julia to start her own business. At 65 Obama provides Julia with medical insurance. At 67 Obama gives Julia a small retirement stipend.

Whatever would Julia do without her “Sugar Daddy” to replace Mother, Father, friends and husband? My-oh-my Obama.

Perhaps. President’s have usually been a source of late night humor, but for the first three years of Obama’s presidency, the late night comedians seemed to pretty much avoid making jokes at his expense but in the last few months they have begun to make the president the target of some of their often stinging humor.

Recently the President said that the Will and Grace sitcom made us more comfortable with gay people. Conan O’Brian picked up on this comment and had the following observation, “and Vice President Biden said that the sitcom character Steve Urkel made the American people more comfortable with President Obama.” You may remember Urkel from “Family Matters” as the irritating neighbor famous for creating chaos then saying, “Did I do that?”

Like Urkel, Obama has been a walking catastrophe. After each disaster he has often been heard paraphrasing the famous Urkel line. Slightly modified, the Obama line is, “I didn’t do that!”

Both France and Greece have major national debt issues but their new governments were elected on the promise of more spending. The combined voices of both electorates sheds light on the Obama administration’s thinking on this issue.

The President has urged more deficit spending on our Congress and on the EU. He has shown no real concern about the deficit or the resulting national debt.

Paul Krugman his former economic advisor unintentionally revealed the fallacy of this absurd deficit spending approach to economic prosperity. He recently wrote the European fiscal problems (and by extension ours as well) should be solved not by imposing austerity programs, but by ramping up government spending. His solution to the resulting debt? Devalue the national currency.

This administration is apparently unconcerned that devaluation, or government sponsored inflation, is a cruel and hidden tax increase on every individual buying a loaf of bread or a gallon of gasoline. Just how does that help Obama’s 99%?

There is a significant breakdown between voters and the political class. Polling, on virtually every issue facing America shows a wide gap between Main Street and the political class. The political class considers voters simply an inconvenient obstacle to their utopian nanny state.

So, why do the voters keep returning them to power? That’s where the press comes in. The liberal media has assumed the role of protector of the progressive agenda, hiding the truth behind deliberate and deceptive “spin”.

Our founders, when codifying freedom of the press, never envisioned the journalistic advocacy that is commonplace today.

But when a strong majority of the voters believe our government is a greater threat to our liberties than Islamic terrorists, when 83% believe we’re still in a recession and by a 2-1 margin believe the nation is on the wrong track, it would appear the liberal media is failing their political masters.

Thank God for the internet, talk radio and cable news.

An accurate oversimplification: liberals fight dirty.

A simple comparison of the conservative Tea Party and the liberal Occupy movements highlights the differences. To my knowledge, not a single Tea Party participant has been charged with any criminal activity but the Occupy movement has made headlines for rapes, vandalism and other violent crimes, not to mention their vulgar language and thuggish, intimidating behavior.

The marriage amendment battle in North Carolina is another example of the difference. While the pro-amendment supporters confined their activities to lawful campaigning, opponents of the traditional marriage standard resorted to lies, deception, and intimidation, including vandalizing pro amendment signage, hateful and harassing phone calls, posting defaming internet videos even attempting to have one of the Senate sponsors of the bill fired from his law firm for his public support of the amendment.

The answer is not to sink to their level, but to stand firm for our principles. When we do, we are the ultimate winners.
