I know I sound like a shill right about now, but buy this issue.

Seriously. It's a one shot style story that's oversized and it's probably the funniest issue of Runaways ever written.

The art is amazing and there's a fucking unicorn in it. BUY IT.

I think it all started with Rome. Lucius Vorenus is just the epitome of the awkward MANLY MAN.

Hell, I don't even like blondes but I love this dude.

So now I'm watching Journeyman cause I've such a crush. I just wish he could use his Scottish accent. RAWR.

OH, and he got me watching Grey's Anatomy again. I like that he's Christina's love interest, cause she's the only reason worth watching that show, but I really dunno if I like what they've done with his character. He was so gungho and awesome at first, but now he's all... reserved and Blah. I just hope they make him more interesting. Right now I'm not feeling anything between him and Yang other than it's a bit forced. Maybe he'll get more interesting soon?

Jon went to my wikipedia page this morning cause he was wondering if it'd been updated and I don't care so I never check it and so he checks it and finds this:

I don't care that Mary Marvel is 16 or whatever. THIS IS NOT A SEXUALIZED IMAGE OF A CHILD. It's a friggin panty shot of what looks like a FULLY DEVELOPED WOMAN. She looks 30. Seriously. I've seen worse manga for 5 year olds than this. Have you SEEN the latest Transformers in Japan!?

Go ahead and angrily rant about it being a sexy panty shot and how that degrades women, or how Mary Marvel shouldn't be portrayed this way or whatever but don't go blowing it out of proportion. Pedophiles are not going to be turned on by this and get their rocks of on it cause if they DID they'd be into ADULT WOMEN.

I'm so ANNOYED by overblown ridiculous complaints like this and it makes me feel like it just pushes REAL feminism back. It's RIDICULOUS.

I will admit, I hardly play them (games) anymore. I immerse myself in games like Disgaea that are puzzle based and easy commitments but when it comes to RPGs, my true game love, I haven't played one all the way thru or hell, even beyond 10 hours in over a year now. I dunno if ff12 even COUNTS.

But here I am, working and listening to Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross music and it makes me wonder... where did all the good game music go? I mean I used to buy game soundtracks cause they were sweeping and epic and they stood out as GOOD MUSIC. Xenogears and FF6... such amazing soundtracks. And now? Hell, I barely remember a Disgaea theme and I was just playing that a few days ago.

Is it that I don't have such fond memories of games because these games were games I like when I was a kid and I was much more open then? I mean, composers like Yasunori Mitsuda and Nobuo Uematsu were so amazing back then, and recently I haven't noticed them as much... So maybe it is an issue of youth?

Whatever it is... god, this music is so good.
