I have to admit I kinda have missed these posts. But there is one main difference between this ‘look’ and the rest of this blog’s. As time has passed by, I have learned that there is nothing better than naturalness to show any thing to rest of the world: a coffee, a place, a trip or even a look. So here I am, showing you some new clothes and my best smile.
As you may know, I also post little square photos of my everyday on Instagram, so here there are some of the day I wore this outfit (I actually ate at that cute coffee shop the best waffle I’ve ever tasted!)

Tengo que admitir que he echado de menos estos posts. Pero hay una diferencia fundamental entre éste y cualquier otro del blog. Según ha pasado el tiempo, he aprendido que no hay nada mejor que la naturalidad para mostrar a los demás cualquier cosa que te apetezca compartir: un café, un lugar, un viaje o incluso un look. Así que aquí estoy, mostrando algo de ropa nueva y mi mejor sonrisa.
Como sabréis (o no), cuelgo pequeñas fotos cuadradas de mi día a día en Instagram, y aquí están las que tomé el día que vestía tan azul.

TRIP TO MADRID, PART I

During my last trip to Madrid, I got to meet amazing people and visit terribly beautiful places.
One of them was the concept store Do Design, a place where you can buy a magazine, sit in a dreamy table, try on really special garments or know new artists’ works.

Two of the people I got to know were Mike and Gabi (cupofcouple), the lovely couple I talked to you about in the last post. This is actually the best part of having a blog, getting to meet people otherwise you wouldn’t and sharing interests, conversations and brunch with such an interesting and talented people.

En mi último viaje a Madrid, conocí a personas increíbles y visité lugares maravillosos.
Uno de ellos fue la concept store Do Design, un lugar donde puedes comprar una revista, sentarte en una mesa de ensueño, probarte prendas especiales o conocer el trabajo de nuevos artistas.

Unas de las personas que tuve el placer de conocer fueron Mike y Gabi (cupofcouple), la encantadora pareja de la que os hablé en el post anterior. Esta es, en realidad, la mejor parte de tener un blog, llegar a conocer a personas que de otra manera no conocerías y compartir intereses, conversaciones y almuerzos con personas tan interesantes.

After these days of meeting up with friends, making new ones, sharing tables with family, letting our inner gluttons run free and having so much fun, it’s now time to leave christmas behind. I want to thank all the people who share their days with me, and thank you for keeping this site alive. Hope you all have had a wonderful holiday time and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Después de estos días de encontrarme con amigos, conocer a nuevas personas, compartir mesas con la familia, dejar libres a nuestros glotones interiores y pasarlo genial, es momento de dejar la navidad atrás. Too much love these days. With Christmas just around the corner, city streets, atmosphere and our lifes are full of good intentions and our best wishes. We are all feeling like sharing our time with family and friends, and that’s what I try to do.

Good wine, better conversations. Shared meals and confidences. That is definitely the best way of spending time. There’s no need of big celebrations or over-planned situations, but good company and lots of love.

Demasiado amor estos días. Con la Navidad a la vuelta de la esquina, las calles, la ciudad, la atmósfera que nos rodea y nuestras vidas están llenas de buenas intenciones y nuestros mejores deseos. A todos nos apetece compartir tiempo con familia y amigos, y eso es lo que yo intento hacer.

Buen vino, mejores conversaciones. Comidas compartidas y confidencias. Esa es, definitivamente, la mejor manera de pasar el tiempo. No hay necesidad de grandes celebraciones o situaciones demasiados planeadas, sólo buena compañía y mucho amor.

The people who use to take a look at my instagram pics already know about my passion for beautiful (and tasty) meals. Okay, right, I am a foodie. But I also have to say that being a foodie is not only liking fancy food, but having the courage to try new things, visit new places and feel new sensations.

I really, seriously, really love trying new food and experimenting new flavors; but I also love a home-made (I cook and bake a lot) meal. I enjoy a lot sharing a table of fresh baked goods (or just grilled vegetables) with people I love. So I wanted to share with you a day of my meals.

Las personas que suelen echar un vistazo a mis fotos en instagram ya saben acerca de mi amor por las comidas bonitas (y ricas, claro). Está bien, soy algo sibarita, o mejor, amante de la buena mesa. Pero amar la buena cocina no significa sólo que te guste la cocina lujosa o extravagante, sino tener el valor de probar cosas nuevas, conocer nuevos lugares y experimentar nuevas sensaciones.

Me encanta, en serio, adoro probar nuevas comidas y experimentar nuevos sabores, pero también me gusta una comida casera. Disfruto compartiendo una mesa de postres recién horneados (o simples verduras a la plancha) con la gente a la que quiero. Y aquí está un día cualquier de mi vida, en lo que a comida se refiere.

Four days off are just like a dream, so we decided to take a break and make a quick trip to the land of vineyards and wine.

We are so used to the city noise that calm, small towns, wineries and grasslands seem to be like another world (even if they are just about two hours away from our current city). We spent our days off visiting charming villages, drinking wine from the land, eating typical food and having so much fun. Now it’s so hard to come back to the noisy real life!

Cuatro días libres son como un sueño, así que decidimos hacer un viaje a la tierra de los viñedos y el buen vino.

Estamos tan acostumbrados al ritmo de la ciudad que la calma, los pequeños pueblos, las bodegas y las llanuras parecen otro mundo (aun estando a apenas dos horas de donde residimos). Así que hemos pasados nuestros días libres visitando pueblos con encanto, bebiendo vino de la tierra, disfrutando de comida típica y pasándolo genial. ¡Ahora es muy difícil volver a la ruidosa rutina!.

There’s nothing better than catching up with friends you don’t get to see every day (or even every month).

She is one of my oldest friends, maybe the oldest. We grew up in the same place, went to the same school and shared hundreds of days; and although time has brought us appart, we always try to meet in the place we know better and make it the way that used to be.
(She is really beautiful, huh?)

No hay nada mejor que reunirse con amigos a los que no puedes ver cada día (ni siquiera cada mes).

Ella es una de mis más viejas amigas. Crecimos en el mismo sitio, fuimos al mismo colegio y compartimos cientos de días; y aunque el tiempo nos ha llevado a separarnos físicamente, siempre intentamos reunirnos en el sitio que mejor conocemos y compartir momentos de la manera en que solía ser.

Traveling is one of our biggest passions (our – I mean, almost everyone I know’s passion). But sometimes we forget to discover the place where we live. Small places you’ve never been to or architectures that go unnoticed while the sunlight is still there.

Although I’m a iphoneaholic and use that little and magical piece of technology to find myself wherever I go – I confess, I still enjoy to wander aimlessly and that feeling of finding unplanned places .

The place where we ate is called Atea (Bilbao, Spain) – fantastic staff and great food in modern surroundings.

Viajar es una de nuestras grandes pasiones (nuestras, por lo menos de muchos de nosotros). Pero a veces nos olvidamos de descubrir ese lugar donde vivimos.
Pequeños lugares que nunca has visitado, o arquitecturas que no se mueven pero pasan desapercibidas a nuestros ojos cuando todavía podemos disfrutar de la luz del sol, que en esta época no es un tiempo muy largo.

El lugar donde comimos es el restaurante Atea (Bilbao) – fantástico servicio y comida en unos modernos alrededores.
