Yesterday, I had a slow day, but still managed to submit around 200 ads. How many of them were approved? A grand whopping total of 3. 3 out of 200, giving me a 1.5% success rate of getting ads approved. Yeah… that’s how much Facebook sucks. I’ve spent thousands on them, and still can’t figure out the perfect system to get ads up. That’s where my persistence keeps me alive.

Where others would give up, I keep going. I guess it’s nice that I have a few tools that help me submit ads in the background, but I still have to do work like finding images, writing new ad headlines and bodies, setting up landing pages, and assure quality leads are sent to the offers I’m working on. That’s a lot of work! But when you do use that persistence and patience, hopefully, it will pay off. Facebook is my #1 money source for now. It’s paid for my condo, university tuition, and all this awesome crap I own!

So, when you ask me what should I do when they keep denying my ads, how should I reply? Change the ad up a little, and just keep hitting submit. There really is nothing else you can do.

Yesterday was a pretty interesting day. Nickycakes, the posterboy for affiliate marketing, came down to Thailand so I paid him a visit on his first day here. I knew he was always a big baller, but never realized the level he was actually at. When he started talking about dropping 20k on a watch and showing interest in buying a very expensive car, I got a damn good idea of what kind of volume he’s pushing everyday. Now, I make decent change, but I’ve got a long way to go before I could even wish to be around Nick’s level. That was some big motivation.

We chatted, talked about the Thai ladies (good stuff), bought some shit, and the Nick told me to buy an XBox360, which I did. The XBoxes here are all modified to play copied games, so I got about 15 random titles. I’ll mainly be using the machine for Halo 3. And if anybody wants to hit me up and make me waste more of my time, my ID is: HyperionSTi. I suck at Halo, but its good for exercise. I actually sweat by balls off playing the damn game. Yuck.

I’ll be back with more updates for tomorrow, because for now I’ve got a week of work to catch up on!

Free Mate1 Landing Page

So in order to try and get you guys off your butt and into affiliate marketing, me and Tatto Media are throwing this contest. We’ve had 31 sign-ups, but really no volume in people actively promoting the offers. Well, I gave away a campaign idea here. Check it out.

Now to really step it up a notch, I’m giving away a free landing page. This is a landing page for Mate1, the same offer I talked about in the post mentioned earlier. Now, I haven’t tested it so I have no idea if this one will fly well with the offer or not, but since I’m giving it away FREE that shouldn’t matter. This also gives you the ability to try and push some major traffic with Google. We all know they hate direct linkers, so throw this up and optimize it for quality score and you should be good to go.

Originally, we were going to give away either a 25.5″ Samsung computer monitor or a brand-spankin’ new top of the line netboot away by now. Unfortunately, we don’t have many active participants. I want people to get more active in promoting the offers, and will extend this contest another month till the end of July. This should give all you kiddies more than enough time to actually start hoping on board and make yourself some money. On top of this, the winner will also recieve 100% of the affiliate commissions I make from all my referals since the begining of June.

So how is it going so far? Well, so far we’ve got 30 affiliates signed up and ready to win! Together, you’ve done $360 in commissions. That’s not as much as I was hoping, especially with these tips I’m handing out! (By the way, with dating offers like these listed in the post, I’ve made about $100,000+ in revenue in the past year with Facebook alone… something to think about for those that aren’t sure about the stability of the niche. My latest experiments with dating have netter me $1,500+ rev. days. I know people doing $50K a day on single offers, direct linking through media buys! Crazy stuff!).

In order to put more incentive into participating, I will be letting my designer do up some landing pages for some of Tatto Media’s offers and releasing them 100% free! Now, you’ve set in your information. A couple days later, you get an email saying your application has been declined. Most people give up here. I don’t want this. So, here is how you are almost always guarenteed to get accepted into a CPA network.

Set up a blog/website

Most CPA networks ask you to provide a site you are working on or have worked on. It doesn’t matter if you run PPC traffic to it or not, but you should at least provide an example that you know a little about being a webmaster. When I signed up for my first few networks, I just used an old blog about random things I found using Stumble Upon.

Provide Contact Info

Give as much contact info as you can. Some networks like to call new affilaites before approving. Give up your AIM/MSN/Skype in the comments section to give further connectivity. Being able to communicate easily builds trust. CPA networks need to trust you to run quality traffic to their offers.

If all else fails…

Call the network

So many people never have the courage to call up an affiliate network to ask to be accepted. Grow some balls and do it. Let them know you have some knowledge in PPC and are ready to send them lots of traffic. Hell, even lie to them if you have to and say you are spending xxxx amount of dollars each day to some private offers and are looking to expand a little bit. Google should be able to find the numbers. If not you can ask the members over at WickedFire.

Michael Jackson Dies

Of course, by now you should know that Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett have both passed away. While I wasn’t a huge fan of either, I know that they influenced many lives and will be missed dearly by millions of people.

Affiliate marketers are already starting to see that this means money to them though.

Kim Kardashian and Idol White

For those of you into the teeth whitening niche, if you haven’t already seen this you might wanna check this out. Kim Kardashian got a little pissed off back when some affiliates were using her picture and name on a fake weight loss blog. Now, she’s decided to cash in on it though. She is now featured, exclusively, supporting a rebill teeth whitening rebill offer with a video.

Idol White is the offer. I think it’s actually a really decent offer page, and by direct linking to it, you could probably bank some serious dough. Landing pages will usually always net higher conversion rates though, so be sure to split test. And if you are wondering where you can get this offer, I’ve seen it over a at Tatto Media. Stats202

We all know tracking your affiliate stats is important. If you’re running any affiliate offer, and not putting it through a tracking system like Prosper202, Tracking202, or your own custom solution, well… you’re retarded. These systems allow you to see just how, when and where you are getting your conversions from.

But how about when you are on the go? There is no F5 button on my Blackberry, and its pretty difficult to even get past the login screen of P202 with it. The solution? Stats202, from the same guys that brought us their innovative tracking solutions.

Go ahead and check it out. All you have to do is have your Tracking202 username and password ready. It is very simple to use and access with most any smart phone. You just set up your accounts with login data from your CPA affiliate networks, and they will aggregate all the data – clicks, revenue, and EPC – into their simple to use platform. It won’t give you details on individual campaigns, but it will give you some idea of whether you are on track with an average day’s revenue.

If you’ve got an iPhone, they’ve got an app ready and set up for you to download and use. Unfortunatly, no Blackberry app is available, but it only takes a few clicks to manage all your data through the Blackberry web browser.
