Remember how you pulled at it, gradually loosening it up until it finally fell from your gums, into your hands and you slipped it under your pillow with excitement knowing the tooth fairy was well on her way? Why isn't that same excitement present in tooth loss dreams?</s> Skip that we don't have that tradition in the Philippines anyway

There is something very disturbing about these dreams--not only in the content but in the emotion that comes along with them. And it is in the emotional content of the dream that we find the biggest clue to its interpretation. Below are some ideas designed for helping you discover what those emotions may be and what those lost teeth might symbolize.

The next time you dream about losing teeth, before trying to figure out what it means, ask yourself how the dream made you feel. Oftentimes, it is not the dream of the teeth falling out that creates the disturbance to the psyche but the feelings that accompany the dream. There is often a feeling of helplessness, of powerlessness--the teeth are coming out and there is nothing the dreamer can do to stop the process. Sometimes teeth fall out, sometimes they are simply missing, sometimes they crumble away. Whichever way they make their exit, the dreamer is left with not only a gap in her smile, but a hole in her heart when she awakens.

If feelings of loss of control, helplessness or powerlessness accompany your tooth loss dream, the dream is typically acting as a mirror of a situation in waking life. Dreams of tooth loss coupled with anxiety reflect a fear of change, fear of transition. Ask yourself if there is some transition that you are fearful of making.

Sometimes tooth loss dreams point to a fear of failure or embarrassment. In waking life, when people lose teeth, they often cover their mouths when talking or smiling. Is there something you want to do but are afraid of undertaking because you fear you'll look foolish if you fail? Or is there something going on in your waking life that you feel you must hide or 'cover up'?

Note taken from this source

So they don't really mean the loss of a family member as what I've known for a long time. Teeth falling from my mouth in most of my dreams do depict that I have these emotions hidden within me.

And as I start my day tomorrow, I plan to let it all out(I'm not referring to my teeth!). I think I have to set my head straight. I hope tomorrow be different that the last 27 days...

AND "parang si katya tangina!!!!" on this dog movie called Hachiko: a Dog Movie...

to eliminate the movie spoilers, i simply have to recommend this movie to all animal(regardless of whatever animal you cherish) lovers.

i left the movie at 53:09 with my brother because he was sleepy and before i knew it i watched it again in CRT just to know what the fuss is all about, then i found my answer...

its all about loyalty, never mind what else is going on, a minute after 53:09 sent me to tears and i just have to finish the movie. every minute of me looking at the screen made my nose run and eyes water because of the freakingly light drama and simple storyline about a dog who remained loyal after an hour or so of dog-master background(which in the story ran for years after his masters death).

yes i cried...

and again i realized the importance of loyalty between beast(although some might say "pet") and man after the movie, when i saw our 8++(and when i say ++, its more than that, believe me) canine companion, Katya, looked at me when i opened the screened door to initially light up a cigarette. well, i did and burst to tears(for the third time) when i saw her looking at me and wagging her tail.

the cig wasn't that good anyway so i threw it away and i hugged my smelly(yet loveable as it may seem) dog to let her(somehow) feel my appreciation for her... and here i am now, back to my pc writing about a dog movie and letting my fb-tagged friends know how Hachiko: a Dog Movie moved me

P.S.
