If you know me even a little bit, you know that I love Guitar Hero. To the point of obsession. If Guitar Hero were an actual person it would have gotten a restraining order against me long ago.

I have been so busy with school lately I didn't know that Nintendo made a limited edition Guitar Hero DS that comes with Guitar Hero: On Tour, but my mother did and that's what I got for my birthday. Of course, I was excited (hence the new profile picture).

We all have busy lives with lots of stuff to do.  Sometimes Saturday rolls around and I have all these great plans - Clean my apartment, go grocery shopping, get my nails and brows done, make a big, tasty dinner, get up early to do all of the above...  You know what ends up happening?  I sleep in, feel lazy, and barely get any of it done.  *sigh*  Suddenly it's 9pm and I'm watching Robin Hood on BBC America, wondering where my day went.  But there's always one thing that needs to get done before the rest.  And the feeling of checking things off a list is really satisfying.  These note pads don't expect you to do everything. All they want you to do is once simple thing.  Write it down, do it, and feel really happy as you peel the sheet off the pad and say, "Yes!  I did my one thing today!" 

Oh, Alexander McQueen, how I love you.  Honestly, if I was rich, every season I'd buy everything you designed and I'd wear nothing but your clothes.  And these shoes...well, if I had these shoes I might never take them off.  You guys, look at these shoes.  The crazy-high heels, the ruffles!  Why do they have to be $1,014?  Why?!  The sad part is I have an itchy mouse finger and I'm "this close" to ordering them.  Don't do it, Cristina.  You shouldn't spend $1,000 on a pair of shoes.  That's insane.  Right? I know all the reasons I shouldn't like this purse.  Metallic + ruffles + crazy hardware = Kind of over-the-top, right?  I know.  But for some reason I saw it and had to have it.  I mean, it's Betsey Johnson.  Over-the-top is what she does.  And that tends to be how I buy handbags.  I don't spend a lot of time lusting after one.  I don't get it in my head I need one.  I just see one and say to myself, "OK, I'm getting this."  That's how I was with this on Saturday.  My friend said, "No, don't get that."  But, I did.  And, amusingly enough, I'm already getting compliments on it.  It was a little pricey at $395 (though I did have a discount coupon), but it's a nice soft leather and it's big and I just really liked it.  Hurray for impulse purchases!

OK, I don't know what exactly my fascination with these hot dog items is.  I guess I just think they're really funny.  I mean, come on, who doesn't love hot dogs (well, except for vegetarians, I guess)? Anyway, there's just something really funny about the idea of wearing a hot dog covered t-shirt.  Well, I'm not sure I'd actually wear the t-shirt, but I would wear the necklace.  But, just to be scientific about which item is the best, go ahead and vote in this little hot dog poll.
