Fill some water in the bottle and upset it. The ashes or pieces of paper will come out. Now, bring the bottle again to the upright position and blow strongly through its opening with your mouth. After blowing, quickly slant the bottle. The egg will come out of it. Wow! what a great fun! Isn't it?

Method of Taking Out an Egg from inside the Bottle

The scientific reason for which the egg gets thrusted into the bottle:

When the quantity of air inside the bottle decreases, the pressure decreases too. Consequently, as the external atmospheric pressure is higher than the internal one, it pushes the egg into the bottle.

The bottle was full of air from the very beginning i.e. before air was pimped into it with the mouth. The air pimped in this way was additional. As the additional air dashed with the base of the bottle and got pushed to the opposite direction, it help to push to the egg out of the bottle.

What is Tally?-A short definition.

It is an accounting software package for maintaining computerized accounts of different business organization. In general Concept, Tally means to compare, that means we can compare he income and expenditure of business organization from where, we can find out the Profit or Loss of the business organization.

What Is Accounts?

Accounting is the art of Recording, Classifying, measuring, presenting in a significant manner and in terms of money transactions and events which are of financial character and interpreting results thereof. It is a language of business, which involves identifying, classifying, measuring, presenting economic information about a business organization in such a way that the user of information can form opinion about the business, judge its performance and take certain decision. For these reason certain norms and system of accounting has been developed and preferred.

Types of Accounts – What are the types of Accounts?

Accounts can be classified into these types-

Personal Accounts
Real Accounts
Nominal Accounts

What are Personal Accounts?

Personal Accounts are the those accounts which are related with party, person, organizations, institutions, corporation etc. like customer, supplier, banks etc.

What are Real Accounts?

Real Accounts are the those accounts which are related with assets. For example – cash, buildings, plants, machinery, furniture etc.

What are Nominal Accounts?

Nominal Accounts are the those accounts which are related with income and expenditure. For example – Salary, Interest, Commission, Discounts, Bills paid etc.

Some Terms related with Accounts-Tally Basics:

Debit: It is what you (business/company) received.
Debtor: It is that person who owes (use) money in the business.
Credit: It is what you (business/company) give.
Creditor: It is that person to whom business owes (use) money.
Liability: It is some of money which is used by the business from the outside.
Capital: it is the part of liability, which is used by the owner to start and future expenses of the business.
Assets: These are things of value own by the business.

Rule of Debit or Credit – Tally Basics

When a transaction occurs, it will effected both of the debit and credit elements. The golden rules of Debit and Credit elements are-

Fun Science Experiment For School Students

I have published curiosity series related to manufacture and use of science equipment for lower secondary and secondary level home experiments. These type of project can be also considered to be fun science. Some of our topic related to these are - Elementary Science Project, Science Project for Kids, Stem Fair ideas, Fun Science etc, Easy Science project ideas etc.

Here are some fun science project which you or children can do at home for or may be for School Project. These project are of very low cost. Now check out the list of project that I am going to elaborate.

Now lets come to the brief description of all the above mentioned project.

C.G. (Centre of Gravity) WITH MATCH-BOXES:

A easy and understandable project to demonstrate the Centre of Gravity.

Necessary Materials to demonstrate C.G. (Centre of Gravity) :

Three match-boxes of a same size, three small but heavy objects ( such as stones), sellotape, three pieces of white paper ,a cardboard or a book.

Method – How to demonstrate C.G. (Centre of Gravity) :

Firstly, open the boxes and set the heavy object in each of the small boxes that sticks are kept in, with the help of cellotape. Then enter the prepared small boxes into the big ones . Stick small pieces of paper. On each of the boxes and write A,B and C( or 1,2and 3 ) on them respectively . Then place the boxes in a row on the cardboard ( or book ) .Now raise one side of the cardboard (or book) slowly and slope it. While doing this, box C will fall at first and box A at last.

Model: Center Of Gravity With Match Box

Reason why C.G. (Center of Gravity) appears :

As the C.G.( Center of Gravity ) in box A line in the lower part, that in box B in the middle and the in box C in the upper part, C falls at first ,B after a short while and A at last The object in which the C.G.lies in the lowermost side contains the power to keep itself in balance more than that in others, and when it is raised upwards, the power decreases too. That’s why, the above result is seen.

THE GAME OF AIR-PRESSURE-1

Necessary Materials to setup the Game of Air-Pressure:

A small rectangular container made of tin, a pot, cool water, a source of heat.

Method-how to setup the Game of Air-Pressure?

Open the lid of the container and heat it for some time. Then remove the container off the source of heat and close it with the lid and then put it into the pot filled with water. The container will shrivel form all sides.

Reason- why The container will shrivel form all sides?

In normal condition, the pressure exerted by the air inside the box and that exerted by the atmosphere outside are equal and contrary, the shape of the container doesn’t change or it doesn’t shrivel. But, when the container is heated, air inside it gets heated too and comes out. Thus the pressure inside the container becomes too low whereas the external pressure remains same. Thus, because of the external pressure, the container shrivels.

THE GAME OF AIR- PRESSURE-2

Necessary Materials to setup the Game of Air-Pressure:

A small container made of tin, some water.

Method-how to setup the Game of Air-Pressure?

Make a hole on the cap of the container and make 5-6 more holes around it with the help of nail. Then make a small hole on the bottom of the container. Now, dip the container into the pot filled with water and close its opening with the cap. Then shut the hole with a finger and take out the container. Water will not fall. Now, remove the finger of the hole, water will fall through the lower holes and as soon as you shut the hole, water stop falling.

Reason- why water stop falling?

As the external (atmospheric) pressure exerted upon the container is higher then that of water inside the container, the later pushes the water just inside, water doesn’t fall. But, when the upper hole is open, the air enters into the container though the hole. As the total quantity of the pressure of air and water becomes higher then that of the external atmospheric pressure, water falls.

TIN-CAN BOMB

(must be performed with the help of elders)

Necessary Materials for Making of a Tin-Can Bomb:

A container of medium size made of tin, spirit and matches.

Method- How to make a Tin-Can Bomb?

Close the container setting the cap tightly and make a small hole through the surface slightly above the base (as shown in the picture). Then keep the container in an open place and put 7-8 drops of spirit into it through the hole. Now, light the match-stick and bring it near the hole and then set fire to it. Just after a short while, the container will spring upwards with a loud sound. It will hear like the explosion of a bomb.

Reason – How Tin-Can Bomb work?

When spirit is put in the container full of air and a burning match-stick is brought near it, the spirit inflames rapidly and gas comes out too. Because of the excessive heat, the gas and the air spread quickly but since there is no exit, they lift the container and thus the cap comes apart and then air as well as gas come out. When they come out rapidly, the internal pressure decreases and the container shrivels due to the external pressure. As the reaction with O2 present in air, the process of severing of the cap as well as the shriveling of the container takes place at the same time and a loud sound is produced.

Caution:

Before setting fire ask the person, if any standing by to move away. The place chosen should be open such as ground, lawn etc. and run yourself away too quickly after setting fire to the container.

You may curious about How to make Artificial Cloud? by a very simple idea and with affordable material. Artificial Cloud?that I am going to show is very Simple. But do you know what is a Steam Turbine?

ARTIFICIAL CLOUD

Necessary Materials for Making of Artificial Cloud?

A transparent container with the opening wide, water, fine powder of chalk, a piece of balloon that can cover the opening of the container, 2-3 rubber-bands.

Method of Making of Artificial Cloud?

Put water in the container as shown in the picture and close it with the cap and then lay it closed for about 10 minutes. Then open the cap and put teaspoonful powder of chalk into the container. Stretch out the piece of balloon and cover the opening of container with it and bind it with the rubber band. Lay it in the same condition for 3-4 minutes. Now press the piece of balloon tied over the opening of container, with a finger. As a result, the pressure inside the container will increase. Just after a short while, remove the finger and look into the bottle. There will be seen could-like shapes over the surface of water. If the shapes are not seen or not obviously seen, press the opening again.

Reason why Artificial clouds are formed?

When the piece of balloon tied over the opening is pressed and then left, air inside the container cools and some water vapors clots in the chalk-powder because of which there are seen the cloud-like appearances.
