With Western Michigan University’s Flenard Whitfield — all 6-foot-7, 230 pounds of him — rumbling right at him in the midst of saving a loose ball, Passage slid over a few seats and got out of the way.

Turns out the move wasn’t really needed. Whitfield nimbly leaped the bench, saved the ball, and hopped back over onto the court so smoothly he could have been mistaken for a track and field star.
