This time we went to visit mushroom farm in Sepang Selangor. They have mushroom centre to explain about mushroom process to us.

After that they briing us to visit their farm. We went on site and see how the mushroom is process and pluck from farm.

Here they allowed us to experience how to process mushroom polybag. once you done fill up the poly bag you need to “cook” the poly bag inside big oven. It is so big that you can enter inside the oven. It make me remember kid story hensel and gretel, story of two kid versus witch who want to cook them. A

After you cook your poly bag then you can put the mushroom seed. It is very small where it is hard for you to see with naked eyes. what i just see in. the use something thin and sharp like long needle. they just touch they tray that full with something like white wool. They the just stab inside the poly bag. They said it is micro organism so we can see with naked eyes.

Then we walked around to see their cooling system. Mushroom need cool. If hot, they cannot produce well. Then we pluck mushroom activity. It is very simple and fun. Do you know that one polybag can produce up to 7 time mushroom production. Once plucked you just leave and they will grow again and again. nice rite!

Mushroom is high in protein. It protein almost similar to red meat and it is very good for those who are diet because it have no fat.

Grey mushroom is highly demand for malaysia market because it is high in protein, cheap and easy to cook.

This time we found Tahu process by muslim at johor bahru. The taste is so fresh from oven! tha price is very cheap. RM 1 for 4 pieces. You can get wholesale price here. This is pulasan, or in english plus minus twister!  It taste sweet and almost same like rambutan. For those first time see this. You might mistakenly think this is rambutan.

Why it call pulasan? because when you want to open this fruit.you just hold it with your both hand and then you have to twist both hand in opposite direction. Pulasan in english is twisting.
