“Teleport 2 Me” has just been released for consumption by the masses. A short snippet has been floating around, and Cudi has performed the song live on one or more occasions, yet there’s nothing better than finally being able to listen to the song in its entirety.

With less than a month to go, Cudder’s WZRD project is right around the corner (scheduled for February 28th). Judging from the sound of this track, the album isn’t going to be the hard hitting rock compilation many disgruntled fans are anticipating. And I say that because many of his fans are indeed disgruntled, due to this change of direction. Although WZRD’s first track “Perfect is the World” was a bit on the heavy side, I liked it, but it’s currently not on the track listing so take that however you want.

Grouplove’s Never Trust a Happy Song has already received much remix love from the likes of Captain Cuts, Xaphoon Jones, and yes even Foster the People. All of whom took a crack at Grouplove’s “Colors”, arguably one of the best songs on the album. And a great album indeed, however if you’re not feeling the original vibes of the album or are looking for even more Grouplove served a la remix, Spacebrother’s got you covered with a great Indie-tronic remix to “Tongue Tied”.

This one has been in the works for quite some time. Young Empires first emerged back in 2010 with a couple of demo tracks, “Rain of Gold” being one of them, and now after quite some time they’ve finally released their debut album Wake All My Youth. You only get to release your first album once, and this is one debut album done right. All that time was obviously spent crafting a very distinct and appealing sound, and it’ll definitely be worth the purchase once it’s available. If anything, do yourself a favor and take a listen before leaving this page.

Well hello there, it has been a while since new material has graced the front page of this blog, yet here we are me and you, you and I. Indeed, with a bit of time on my hands and a brand new look, MIAM is back.

To kick things off, we have a rather great set of remixes to Ed Sheeran’s “Drunk” and “Lego House”. The remixes were nicely put together by a band from the UK, with a fetish for animal costumes, known as Rudimental. They don’t have much in the way of music, however their single “Deep in the Valley” is worth checking out if you’re in the mood for a bit of Ragga (not Reggae), which is basically new-age sounding Dancehall.

Check it out, Cudi’s music video for ‘Mr. Rager’ is finally here. It’s very theatrical. The message in the video isn’t all too clear until the very end, and even then it’s still not known, however it’s worth the watch. They really did use a lot of the Surface to Air jacket’s in there.

A Man Named Scott is scrapped everyone, I know its a bummer but ive just been too busy with this new album and thats where all my energy and focus is right now. So I guess those of you that were looking forward to the mixtape will just have to wait till MOTM3 while the rest of us enjoy, or at least hope we will enjoy the upcoming album.

Last night I lay wide awake for hours, like I have for about a week now, unable to sleep for some reason; anyways, in my search for some relief, I came across this book. No it did not help, but I got a real laugh out of it when I listened to the audio book. This “children’s book” is probably meant to be a satirical read and certainly not for children, but I guess that’s for the parents to decide. You can watch a short clip of Samuel L. More Gambino coming your way. This time in the form of a remix from Zachary Zamarripa, who happens to produce some very nice House/Electro originals and remixes, which you can find on his Soundcloud if you’re into that sort of thing. This remix definitely adds a considerable amount of replay value to Gambino’s ‘Got This Money’, more specifically this remix, however unless you’re just now discovering his music, that’s probably not the case. His new album, Camp, is set to drop some time in September so be on the lookout for that.

Someone got the bright idea of mashing up Childish Gambino’s ‘Freaks and Geeks’ with NBC’s Community, and they did it surprisingly well, a lot of credit to the show for having some perfect clips to go with the lyrics, but finding them must have been somewhat of a hassle so hats off to the mashup artist as well.

In other news, Donald Glover’s first one-hour stand-up special will air on Comedy Central, November 20th.

I admit, I’ve been every bit reluctant to pay attention to Watch The Throne ever since it was announced back in August. After getting my first whiff of it when ‘HAM’ leaked, I instinctively embodied my thoughts on the song all around the project and wrote it off, ‘HAM’ wasn’t all that good in my opinion. Today was just headline after headline reading “Kanye West, Jay-Z – Otis”, and god knows they’ve been advertising it all over the place. So I decided to watch out of curiosity and ended up taking a liking to the song and the video as well, really captured some fun genuine looking moments.
