For a lot of people who didn’t live through the greatest decade of movies ever, otherwise known as the 1980’s, Corey was a part of many movies such as “License to Drive,” “The Lost Boys,” “Dream a Little Dream,” “Murphey’s Romance” and “Lucas.” He was usually with Corey Feldman in More >

Today, Corey Haim left this world.

For a lot of people who didn’t live through the greatest decade of movies ever, otherwise known as the 1980’s, Corey was a part of many movies such as “License to Drive,” “The Lost Boys,” “Dream a Little Dream,” “Murphey’s Romance” and “Lucas.” He was usually with Corey Feldman in movies.

He died today at the age of 38.

Besides Joey McIntyre, Corey Haim was my first real celebrity crush.

I was obsessed with “License to Drive.” I had the poster, a t-shirt, magazines, books, school folders, everything. I remember going to the grocery store with my Granny and seeing this limited edition teenybopper magazine about “License to Drive” and I pitched a fit for it. I remember her helping me write a letter to him one time that we mailed and never heard back from.

A few years ago, I was lucky enough to get “License to Drive” on DVD and I’m going to watch it after “American Idol” tonight.

It’s hard for me to imagine that Corey was 38 years old. It still seems like he was 16 and I was 8. That was the difference between us. I’m about to turn 30 and he was 38.

Sure, I may not have walked around telling everybody that I loved Corey Haim, but even though I’ve grown up, he will always hold this little piece of my heart.

Today another piece of my heart broke.

I love you, Corey Haim.

Sure, the new title of the blog isn’t original but my life sort of is in the fast lane. I’m always on the go, always working, always doing something and I like it that way.

Now let’s talk about what’s going on.

My girl Amy from Amy’s Bad Groove got the chance to interview Mr. Tony Stewart last weekend in Las Vegas and I’m extremely jealous of her.

Darrell Waltrip’s car was stolen by Tim Tebow while he was in Las Vegas? Awesome.

Then last night, Brett Favre was on Jay Leno last night and discussed going to Hannah Montana concerts and “Pants on the Ground.”

Love it!

This is my new attempt at creating a new blog. Yes, I tried it before but I really want to start blogging again.
As I’ve told a few people, I believe that I have what is now known as blog-block, sort of like writer’s block, but on only on the internet.
I want to get rid of More >

This is my new attempt at creating a new blog. Yes, I tried it before but I really want to start blogging again.

As I’ve told a few people, I believe that I have what is now known as blog-block, sort of like writer’s block, but on only on the internet.

I want to get rid of it…. now.

So, I have created this blog, which is on my domain name that I house my work portfolio on. I don’t think I need a fancy domain name just for my blog. It’s not going to make me write more and it’s not going to make me write less.

The same text, thoughts, words and photos are still here.

So thus, I give you this blog…. which I really don’t know the name of yet. I want to keep in the tradition of my old blog, Diary of a Track Bunny, but I feel as if I’ve outgrown it. I’m not just a Track Bunny anymore.

Sure, I still have my love of NASCAR, but through work, I’ve fallen back in love with football and the written word.

I just don’t know what to call it.

Suggestions?
