I stopped by XL Projects to see the exhibition that is showcasing the visual art from the 6th edition of the Stone Canoe Journal for the Arts. The show is up through February 5, 2012. The party for the issue launch is February 4th from 6pm-8pm.

New Installation: a door

My drawing of the door is printed on translucent paper and hung over the door. Alongside this installation is a video of a drawing falling off a house. Photographs of my new installation are by Karen Pearlman.

My new installation is up at the University of Mary Washington gallery through December 2nd. It is part of a group exhibition on large-scale drawing. More details on that exhibition are in my earlier post here.

Catalogue “CCA Grants : 25 Years”

The Cornell Council for the Arts (CCA) published a catalogue of the past 25 years of their grants, including over 1700 artist projects. In 2008, CCA supported the creation of my public installation, Storm Road, with a grant and highlighted 9 Groton Avenue on their annual poster.

I visited Bethel University in Minneapolis last week to discuss my work in the exhibition. An essay about the exhibition is written by Christina Schmid. The show is on view in the Johnson Gallery until December 18th.
