The three-day bridal fair showcased the best wedding venues, products, and services of various Misamis Oriental wedding suppliers. Wedding suppliers from Davao City and the rest of Mindanao proved why it could be the next wedding capital of the Philippines during the seventh leg of Kasalang Filipino 2010 12-city wedding and tourism fair and exhibit, held last June 25 – 27, 2010 at NCCC Mall in Davao City.

The event, co-presented by Kasal.com, ABS-CBN Regional Network Group, and New City Commercial Corporation (NCCC) Mall Davao, showcased the best wedding venues, products, and services from the Crown Jewel of Mindanao as well as other wedding suppliers from nearby provinces.

Kasalang Filipino 2010 is a nationwide wedding and tourism fair road show, which ties twelve (12) Philippine cities with one goal of promoting the local wedding industry. Numerous soon-to-wed couples visited the City of Pines to see Baguio City’s premier destinations and meet up with wedding suppliers during Kasalan sa Baguio wedding and tourism fair and exhibit, held last April 10 – 11, 2010 at the Baguio Convention Center.

The fourth leg of Kasalang Filipino 2010 12-city roadshow is co-presented by Kasal.com and ABS-CBN Regional Network Group, in cooperation with I Do in Baguio Events Management and City Government of Baguio. The event showcased the best wedding suppliers from the Summer Capital of the Philippines as well as other wedding suppliers from Manila and nearby provinces.

Ms. Shieyl Aranas of Sophisticashaun conducted a free Personality Development Workshop during the first day of the event. Afterwards, sixteen aspiring and professional makeup artists transformed their models into stunning Filipina brides during the Ever Bilena Gandang Pinay Makeup competition. In the end, it was Mr. Randy Danao’s work that stood out, earning him the grand prize of PhP. 20, 000.00 worth of Ever Bilena products, 1-year Gold Priority Listing advertising in Kasal.com worth PhP. 5, 000.00, and a trophy. Meanwhile, Mr. Paul Sanglay and Mr. Joey Yumana were declared first and second prize, respectively. They took home PhP. 5,000.00 worth of products and 1-year Priority Listing in Kasal.com. The day ended with a fashion show featuring the entourage and bridal wear collection of Ms. Karla Santillan of La Femme.

The second day of the event started off with an Events Mangement seminar by University of the Cordilleras professor Mr. Jonathan Micua. Afterwards, event exhibitors gave away discounts and free services to lucky soon-to-wed couples during the raffle draw. These include imported bouquet arrangement, invitation printing, catering service, bridal gown rental, on the day coordination, photo and video coverage, and more. All the couples who attended the event received free gift pack courtesy of the event sponsors.

The premier wedding suppliers from Quezon and nearby province of Laguna showcased their unique and affordable wedding products and services during the third leg of Kasalang Filipino 2010 wedding and tourism fair exhibit last March 26 – 29, 2010 at the Pacific Mall in Lucena City.

Aptly titled, Kasalan sa Lucena, the wedding and tourism fair is co-presented by Kasal.com and ABS-CBN Regional Network Group in cooperation with Wave Events Services and Pacific Mall. The event started off with a ribbon cutting ceremony graced by Ms. Catalina Javier, Asst. Mall Manager of Pacific Mall, members of Wave Events Services, and other guests. After the ceremony and short tour of the exhibit area, Wifi Band serenaded the guests and mall goers with their own rendition of famous love songs.

Representatives from Ever Bilena Cosmetics held a demonstration on how to properly apply makeup and achieve the gandang pinay (Filipina beauty) look. Afterwards, sixteen aspiring and professional makeup artists showcased their skills during the Gandang Pinay Bridal Make up Competition. After the mini-fashion show, Ms. Lucelle Manalo’s work was pronounced as the best and she won for herself the grand prize of PhP. 20, 000.00 worth of Ever Bilena products, 1-year Gold Priority Listing advertising in Kasal.com worth PhP. 5, 000.00, and a trophy. Makeup artists Anthony Diaz and Joey Ramos managed to bag first and second place, respectively.

The local wedding industry of Cabanatuan and General Santos City received it well-deserved spotlight as local wedding suppliers showcased their products and services during the first two legs of Kasalang Filipino 2010 12-city wedding and tourism fair roadshow.

The first leg of this year's roadshow, Kasalan sa Cabanatuan, was held last February 12 - 14, 2010 at the Mega Center in Cabanatuan City. Co-presented by Kasal.com and ABS-CBN Regional Network Group in cooperation with the Nueva Ecija Association of Tourism Stakeholders and supported by Microtel Inns and Suites and Mega Center, the event started off with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by a bartending and flare tending exhibition by local students.

The following day showcased true Filipina beauty as sixteen aspiring and professional make up artists joined the Ever Bilena Gandang Pinay Bridal Make up Competition. In the end, Enrique Ocampo's work on model-bride Ruffa Palomo earned him the grand prize of PhP. 20, 000.00 worth of Ever Bilena products, 1-year Gold Priority Listing advertising in Kasal.com worth PhP. 5, 000.00, and a trophy. Dennis Ryan and Gener Baluyot managed to bag first and second place, respectively. Kasalan sa Cabanatuan was capped with a fashion show featuring Song Medina’s north Luzon label Postura by Song.

Kasalan sa GenSan - Kalilang sa GenSan, the second leg of Kasalang Filipino 2010 was held last February 26 - 28, 2010 at the Gaisano Atrium in Gaisano Mall of Gensan. The event was one of the official activities of Kalilangan Festival 2010 - the 71st Foundation Anniversary of General Santos City. This leg was held in cooperation with Mga Konsepto, Ideya, Atbp. and Gaisano Mall of Gensan and supported by the City Government of General Santos City, Montage Digital Photography, Gregoria Printing Press, Asia United Bank, Marasa Grill, FCH, STI College, and RMMC.

The three-day wedding and tourism fair and exhibit started off with a bridal bouquet competition wherein fourteen local florists showed off their craftsmanship and creativity. It was followed by the second leg of the Ever Bilena Gandang Pinay Bridal Make up Competition. Kasalan sa Gensan concluded with the presentation of the latest bridal collection of Clarence Claire Boutique.
