Hi guys, sorry for not blogging, this week has just been super sad and emotionally draining for me.

My aunt died Saturday and after her funeral on Wednesday I found out that one of my best friends that I've known for 5+ years died that morning.

Thankfully I've got supportive friends and family along with an amazing boyfriend to help me get through all of this.

hello hello! so i had a Friday (today) off from work!!

YAY OFF DAYS

today was quite productive for me actually:

i washed like 2 weeks worth of laundry, cleaned the bathroom,the kitchen swept down the basement steps, cooked, fed, watered and played with the dog ALL BEFORE NOON!

PRODUCTIVE!

but since i didnt want to spend my off day stuck in the house smoking cigarettes and drinking martinis (hey, Im legal and i can do as i please!) i hung out with my friend Shannon and her husband Deon.

And where do u think we ended up?

yup, I always end up at work.

But i had good reason to:

Happy Hour from 4-8 (half price calls, well, drafts and wines, PLUS i drink for $2 since im an employee)

and my main reason:

Chris wanted to see me

lol so from 4-6 we drank and did just random trivia w/ m y friend Taji who works down the street at The Pub, and chris came out and did some trivia with us and met Shannon.

She says hes a keeper :) that makes me happy.

But anyway, Shannon had plans at 8, so she left.

But i stayed to hang with chris and we have a date planned for after he get off work in like an hour or so.

Im chillin in the Kitchen office at work (hes Head Chef/Kitchen Manager) on his laptop, pissing out this blog.

he just opened the door and said "I came in here for something..o yeah, thats right." Kisses me and then ran back onto the line.

How not to be "That Girl"

So I'm at work with Dakota smoking cigs, shootin the shit and drinkin a faux martini- I'm on the clock- (I'll put the recipe at the end of the post) and people watching. Working on 4th street, I see a LOT of people (mostly chicks) who I can't help but talk shit about. Its just little things that irritate the FUCK out of me. And I'm goin to make a list lol.

1) Girls who can't walk in heels- baby, if you can't walk in a 4inch heel, don't wear em!!! Get a lower heel, or take your heels off for a bit! I can't stand seeing girls walkin around like lame horses. I will put you out of your misery.

2) Girls that wear clothes a size too small- ok look, when you wear clothes that are too small, you just look like a sausage. Sausages aren't sexy. Wearing a small top when you are in fact a large will NOT push you're tits up or out- you just push them in and give yourself uni-boob. Also, its just not cute.
And don't fuckin wear shit from the kids section if you're a grown ass woman; the shirts are made for 6 year olds, not a size 6 woman.

3)Girls who pile on the makeup- ok lah, confirm I REALLY can't say too much on this because I wear a lot of makeup too. BUT here's the main difference- I don't pile it on 136585 layers deep. I don't look like an acne riddled clown. That really bugs me, I hate seeing chicks with bad skin who pile on the foundation. Baby- get some tinted moisturizer and skin care. BOOM.

4) BAD extensions/weaves/wigs.- Another thing that I can't say much on lol. But really, my wigs aren't bad, they're just synthetic, I'm poor lol and I'll get a human lace front eventually. But anyway, I should not be able to count your shrinkies/micro rings/fusion glue beads/rubber bands/ weave thread/ tracks when I'm walking behind you. JUST SAYIN. NOR should I be able to tell that your "everyday" wig is from the halloween store. I guarantee you that you can find a decent wig on ebay or in the wig shops. If I can, you can too.

5) Cellulite and short dresses - ok boo boo, I get that you wanna be cute and all, but I also know that you spent an hour in the mirror checkin yourself out. And I know you saw those waves and ripples on your ass and thighs. With that being said-- COVER THAT SHIT UP!!! DON'T NOBODY WANNA SEE YOUR ASS AND THIGH OCEAN!!! FUCK!! Buy a dress that's 2 inches longer! I have cellulite too! But you won't see me flauntin it when I'm dancin on a speaker!!

And that's about it for right now. I'm pretty sure I'll add more lol. I hate a lot of things.

Opposum Drama Trauma

This has to be the silliest, dumbest, girliest blog post

So my dog killed a opposum yesterday. no biggie, happens all the time.

My dad disposed of said marsupial but putting it in a bag and putting the bag in a box and putting the box in the trash.

ok cool.

So im getting the trash together to take out. And when i got to put the trash in the trashcan, all i see is this fuckin tail WRAPPED AROUND THE TRASHCAN HANDLE

So i drop the trashbag, squeal and run back into the house.

I text my dad that I'm not takin out the blue trash can.

He comes out of his room and is like what?

"ITS FUCKIN TAIL IS TOUCHIN THE HANDLE!"

he starts laughin and goes outside to put the deceased fully in the trash can.

ok. all is good.

NO.

I took out the other trashcan 1st cuz it was heavier and then came back for the coffincan.

WELL, i wasnt aware that one of the wheels has fallen off. So as im getting it off the platform, THIS FUCKER FALLS OVER

Ok..so i take out the trash and come back for the box.

I am not touching this box directly. fuck that. no.

i dont do dead animals. they scare me to death.

So i get a shovel!

yeah, it took me five mins to get the fuckin box on the shovel.

and then i had to carry its carcass all the way to the fuckin trashcan.

2011 flew by for me!

so yes, all in all not bad.

Soooo about this guyyyy i cant say too much because i TECHNICALLY shouldnt be with him because he works with me and is one of my like 9 bosses; oh to be so low on the ladder when i could do EVERYBODYS job the RIGHT WAY. -___-

but anyway,i will say that his names chris, hes 29, has a chinstrap (ULTRA PLUS) and is a great kisser.

Its been about 10 months or so since John and I officially broke up. if i remember correctly, we were semi-broken up this time last year. his head was telling him to let go but his heart didnt. i was the same way.

So i think I'm finally ready to blog about the whole situation, since a lot of people actually want to know what happened. Im not gonna put in all the details, just the basics. I am in no way trying to put his business out there, or gain any sympathy. I simply need to blog this to get it out of my head 100%.

I will say that i am probably 99% of the reason why we broke up, so im not gonna candy coat anything or turn stuff around to make me look like the victim, cuz i brought this upon myself.

so heres the 3 main characters:

So ive know Justin since 2007 or 2008, (refer here) we had our thing and we decided that neither one of us was ready for a serious relationship, broke it off and stayed good friends.

i met John on Facebook in April (refer to this blog post for our love timeline) and we hit it off really well at first!

our first date was at the IHOP on April 10th 2010 and he thought it was weird that i wore a sweater dress. I LIKE SWEATER DRESSES!!

anyway, Then I got sick. i had a stupid bad cold and at like 2am HE GOT OUT OF BED, WENT TO THE STORE, BOUGHT 2 PACKS OF COUGH DROPS AND BROUGHT THEM TO MY SICK ASS.

AND GOT MY PLAGUE!!!

(i actually still have the bag of honey-lemon cough drops.)

so anybody who says John was a bad guy is so wrong!

anyway, when john and i were still in the just talking semi-dating stage justin had asked me if i would go to something with him..it was probably a party and i said maybe, cuz i didnt really wanna put myself in a situation where i would fuck something up w/ john.

So i didnt go to the party.

--skip ahead a few months--

Justin called me when i was with John (this is before john told me i couldnt talk to him) i actually asked john if i could take the call, i had no idea what just wanted to talk to me about, but i didnt want john mad at me for talkin to him. So justin tells me that hes moving closer to me (not for me, just cuz thats where the house he was renting happened to be) and of course i was glad that he was moving closer, cuz i didnt get to see him much (i still dont!) and john was mad about that, which is understandable.

So after this he didnt want me talking to justin.ok fine, it wasnt like we talked everyday anyway. so i went to delete him from my facebook but he wasnt there, so i assumed that he deleted his account, so obviously i couldnt delete him, so i just left it as is.

one night john and i did a 2am breakfast at a lil diner and i posted it as a status in fb. WELL, unbeknownst to me, justin had re-activated his facebook, and had commented on the status..something like he was right down the street at taco bell; harmless right???

WRONG!

john got super pissed at me because i didnt delete justin. i told him that i couldnt because he wasnt on facebook when he told me to delete him. i mean really, i cant delete or block somebody w/out a profile!

So john didnt talk to me the next day and i get up and check facebook and i have a relationship status request:

from in a relationship to single.

WTF? REALLY????

so i called him and he didnt answer my calls. he texted me saying that he'd come over after he got off work. So at 230am he came over and wouldnt leave till i gave him back his dogtags.

so i took them off and handed them to him. i didnt rip them off my neck and throw them or give him just one, i took them off and handed them to him.

and he left.

tears are streaming down my face,i feel like my hearts been ripped out of my chest, im crying hysterically. i had never felt so hurt and low in my entire life.

basically something inside of me died on July 30th 2010

the only person i could call was my friend jacinta, so jacinta listened to me cry for like 3 hours lol and she didnt know what to tell me cuz she was still shocked that i was actually crying. (im not a cryer AT ALL)

so i assume i cried myself to sleep, cuz i woke up the next morning and texted john. Not one of those "baby im sorry i want u back things", just a simple, "im sorry that we had to end this way, and i wish you the best in all that you do."

i didnt expect anything back ,so my mind was blown when he called me back. he apologized and asked if i still wanted to go to dinner w / him at his sisters. of course i did lol

so blah blah blah, dinner at his sisters was good, got my dogtags back, makeup sex was beast, and kiara is back in a relationship w/ johnathan.

So August was pretty ok for us from what i can remember, but he was also getting deployed in september.

September 11th 2010, Gate B17 Southwest Airlines 1:17pm John got on the plane for Afghanistan.

WELL baltimore, technically...but u get what i mean right???

He got to afgahanistan maybe 6 days later?

o the joys of afghanistan! mortars and bombs and other shit that i REALLY DID NOT LIKE!

we had some spats while he was there too, but the big one came in Novemeber i think.

The weather here is really crazy, and we had tornado warnings one morning, so i get my blackberry and my blanket and go to the basement. when i wake up a few hours later, i have a missed call and a new voicemail. the calls from miranda, so i assume the vm is too. i check my voicemail and its Justin.

he had just called cuz he heard about the tornado warnings and such (one actually touched down a few blocks from my house) and he had just wanted to make sure i was ok.

i thought of it as simply a kind gesture by a good friend. it wasnt like he called me and was like so...ya dudes gone, wanna fuck? ya know, so i called him back and told him i was fine and thanked him for checkin on me.

First thing he asked me after that: " HOWS JOHN?"

what guy who was tryin to ruin a relationship would ask that?

so we talked for a bit, mostly about his issues w/ the girl he was dating at the time. whole conversation lasted maybe 30 mins tops.

but here was the problem: i didnt tell john.

he asked me if i had talked to justin and i said no. i told him about the voicemail but not the call.

i didnt think a 30 min conversation about justins problems was critical to our relationship.

but it was.

Johnathon: I can't do it

Johnathon: can't deal with lies

Johnathon: sick of this lil ehb

Johnathon: regardless

Johnathon: he is suppose to be out of OUR lives

i can handle the bombs and rockets and the 6 days a week 12 hours a day

our relationship has plagued my sleep for the past week and a half

so...yeah. way to make me feel like shit right?

so we took "a break" we we're technically single, but willing to try and make it work, but our relationship was too broken.

no matter how much we tried to put it back together, there were too many cracks. everything i did annoyed him or made him mad, which in turn, made me have almost nothing to say to him cuz i just didnt want him to yell at me.

We were beating a dead horse.

so we ended it.

I'm not bitter, or angry. I dont wish any ill-will to him or the girls hes dating now. in fact i wish him the best. im glad he's found someone that makes him happy.

its funny because ppl ask me why I'm not mad, im not mad because i really loved john. i still do in fact. but when you really love someone, you want them to be happy, even if its not with you.

I overslept, left work and got a hole in my lip!

I pretty much woke up at 9am (which is usually when I'm on the way to work) so as I was haulin ass too get cleaned and such I tripped and fell. Like legit face-planted, however that didn't stop me!

I was at work by 935 :)

I normally wouldn't worry about it, but I started training the new opener today!!!

New opener means more off days for me!!!!!

So we opened the bar, and I left. Its not like we're busy during the day and he already knows how to serve, its not like I left him high and dry.

So my friend jeremy and I went to meet Harper up at twisted. Since we were already there I just went ahead and got my lip pierced.

I'd been playin around w/ the idea, but never got it done cuz I'm either poor or not poor, but already spent all my fuckin money. :/

Burts Bees Skin Care

So i bought a bunch of new skincare!

My skin used to be TERRIBLE!

i had acne everywhere and after the zit would go away I'd be left with these FUGLY marks of darker pigmentation. I guess i'm lucky i don't have a crater face though.

I tried EVERYTHING to get my skin to calm down!

Washing my face with only Clean and Clear, which just dried my skin out and made my acne worse.
Only Neutrogena products same results as above
Only Ivory soap.
"Black skin care" that shits a joke!
Noxzema
Exfoliating daily

The last two worked! with a steady and basic regimine of Noxzema twice a day and exfoliating with St. Ives apricot scrub 4 times a week, my skin cleared up.

Its still not 100% but WAY better than it was.

However, I HATE that the good noxzema comes in a tub. Its REALLY unhygienic; i mean do you know whats on your hands???

So after I finished off my last tub of Noxzy i decided to try something new for my skin.

I went with:

Ive heard really good things about their skincare and ive been using their lip balms for a while so i figured they were worth trying.

so i basically redid my entire skincare system:

I got the Daily Radiance Facial Cleanser w/ Royal Jelly for my everyday cleansing; its not heavy, smells good and takes off a majority of my makeup!

AND its 99% natural!

For my exfoliation needs i got the Peach and Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub.

it leaves my face feelin like a babys ass! and its 100% natural!

Now im not a huge fan of toner since it tends to dry my skin out, but sometimes when the weathers changing my face gets super oily and i HAVE to tone, so i picked up the

Natural Acne Solutions Clarifying Toner.

99.5% natural

and one of the best toners i have EVER used.

it doesnt leave my face feeling tight or smelling all...chemmically like most other acne products.

the last thing i got was some makeup remover/cleansing towelettes because i am notorious for passing out in my bed (or some random strangers..but more on that later) after a night of drinking.

and i HATE waking up with last nights mascara crusting my eyelids together and my false eyelash on some guys chest..(yeah thats a weird situation) so i actually bought two of these and i keep one in my bag and one on my desk by my bed.

So now i have no excuse to fall asleep with makeup on!

and they actually work really well! one towelette removes my full face of makeup!

and 99.1% natural too!!!

the only thing i didnt change was my moisturizer because i still have a 3/4 full bottle of Aveeno Positively Radiant moisturizer w/ spf.

Good stuff as well.

But once im out of it, im most def gonna go back and get some burts bees day cream and night cream.

im thinkin the Radiance day cream w/ spf 15 for my everyday and the Beeswax moisturizing night cream for night.

GOD I LOVE SKINCARE!!!!!

So my freakin makeup bag w/ my everyday makeup was lost/stolen at work.

Yeah. There was at the very least $200 worth of stuff in that bag.

So here's the story:

I had my bag at work and I had to leave to get to another appointment. I was gonna touch up my eyeliner in the car, when I realised that my bag wasn't in my purse. I didn't have time to go back and grab it, so I just shrugged it off and said it would be there when I opened in the morning. (I had an extra eyeliner in the bottom of my bag)

Well, when I showed up the next morning around 9am I checked all the places where it could have been and didn't see it. I double checked, still no bag. I asked my manager if he had seen it, no luck. I asked the girls in the office, STILL nothing.

UGH!!!

There goes my $20 foundation brush, my NARS eyeshadow, my primer, at LEAST $50 more in face brushes. A limited edition eyeshadow pallet that I probably will never be able to find again...UGH!!!!!!

Plus now I have to go back to F21 and get a new makeup bag.

I will gladly admit that i shopped the SHIT out of my nose in that picture.

i still think it looks good tho

But thats whatever~ I dont see the big deal about shopping my pics. its not like I claim to be a natural beauty who wakes up looking like a perfect 10.

I will PROUDLY tell you what on me is fake and/or shopped:

My hair is a wig or a piece 99.5% of the time
My brows are drawn on
I wear circle lens 99.9% of the time
I wear lashes 75% of the time
I wear makeup (at least foundation, liner and mascara) 90% of the time
I bloat my eyes and shrink my nose in about 75% of the time
I wear 2 bras 50% of the time
I wear chicken cutlets in my bras
Sometimes i wear 2 bras
I wear spanx
I wear heels 50% of the time, 100% of the time if im goin out

So yeah. That's me.

As you saw the brush is Huge (which i personally like) the formula is a little thin, but DEAR GOD!!!

ONE COAT!

After ONE coat my lashes were much more visible and thicker looking. After my usual 156387 coats my lashes were very visable and Big!

The only complaint that i have is that it wasnt as easy to remove as it claimed. It took me 3 or 4 passes with the makeup remover to get it all off.

BUT i did fall asleep with it on a few times and my lashes were still big dark and really SOFT the next day!

it is also quite smudge-proof and waterproof which is great this time of year since all it does here now is rain and be gloomy.

So all in all Id give YANQINA Max Volume Mascara a 4/5.taking off one point for it being hard to remove.

But all-in all I really do like this mascara!!!

So working in a bar means i get to deal with a whole lotta nonsense. TONS OF IT!

Drunk girls, Drunk guys, Douchbags, Guidos, Vomit, Fights, Spilled drinks, ppl gettin mad over music... just fuckin nonsense.

HOWEVER there are a few rules that people should follow when in a club:

*ALWAYS tip your bartender. (20% at least.)

*If you get a drink at a discount, tip 50%

*If you get a FREE drink, tip 75%

At my job, i drink for half off, so say I get a vodka cranberry for $2, I'm gonna tip my bartender $1 at least, I usually leave $2 because bartenders have a hard, but fun job.

*Tip ANYBODY you buy anything from; Shot girls, Beer tub girls, severs, ANYBODY.

*DONT BE A DICK TO SECURITY.
Most clubs have a "no-strike" policy meaning they aren't supposed to punch you, but they can choke you out.

*dont try to "be cool" with em either. dont slide the guy a tip and expect him to walk around with you like your personal bodyguard. They're there to keep the club from turning into a shit show, not to baby you.

If youre REALLY as bad ass as you think you are, You'll have YOUR OWN BODYGUARDS.

On September 19, 1999, Saburido attended a birthday party near Austin, Texas. She and her friends, Laura Guerrero, Johan Daal and Johanna Gil, decided to head home after a few hours, and accepted a ride home from a classmate, Natalia Chpytchak-Bennett. At the same time, Reginald Stephey, an 18-year-old high school student, was on his way home after drinking beers with his friends at a party. On the outskirts of Austin, Stephey's 1996 GMC Yukon veered into Chpytchak-Bennett's 1990 Oldsmobile Ninety-EightRegency.

Guerrero and Chpytchak-Bennett were killed instantly, while Gil and Daal suffered minor injuries. The car caught fire, and Saburido's feet were trapped under the seat, preventing her from escaping. Two paramedics, John McIntosh and Bryan Fitzpatrick, happened to be driving past when Stephey flagged them down. The flames were leaping several feet up into the air as they arrived. McIntosh put out the fire with his extinguisher and the two men set about removing everyone from the vehicle. However, Saburido was still trapped, and the fire restarted, forcing McIntosh and Fitzpatrick back. Saburido was inside the car for another 45 seconds until a fire truck arrived to put out the fire. Saburido was then cut from the car and airlifted to the burn unit in Galveston.

Saburido suffered second and third degree burns to over 60 percent of her body, but survived despite her doctor's expectations. All of her fingers had to be amputated, but there was enough bone left on her thumb to construct an opposable thumb. She lost her hair, ears, nose, lips, left eyelid and much of her vision. She has undergone more than 120 operations since the crash, including cornea transplants, which have restored her left eye.
