Pagi-pagi lagi aku dikejutkan dengan panggilan dari sis Nur. Aku kena balik kampung dan panggil doktor untuk tenggokkan abang K. Kemalangan yang meragut kehidupan abang K dan meninggalkan tiub VP-Shan di kepalanya kembali di perkatakan. Aku singgah di rumah emak untuk menengok sendiri kesan-kesan peninggalan sejarah 10 tahun dulu. Memang betul tiub dikepala sudah menjerkah keluar. Mungkin sudah telalu lama ianya disitu. Masa untuk mengantikan yang lama dengan yang baru.

Jadi seperti kebiasaan kami akan memanggil Dr Tan untuk datang ke rumah. Aku ke klinik Dr Tan untuk meminta dia datang kerumah. Pada mulanya Dr Tan menyuruh aja aku menolak masuk tiub itu ke tempat asal. Aku katakan padanya aku tak berani dan berharap dia dapat membantu. Mujur dia sudi. Cuma dia tak berapa pasti pukul berapa dia akan dapat ke rumah emak.

Selepas berjumpa Dr Tan, aku singgah ke klinik kesihatan bandar Ratu. Lalu bertanya pada nurse yang bertugas bagaimana nak mendapatkan khidmat doktor untuk melawat abang K di rumah. Aku diminta tunggu sementara dia berjumpa dengan Dr pakar. Rupanya ada Dr pakar disana setiap hari Selasa dan Khamis. Lalu aku dapat temujanji pada hari Selasa minggu hadapan.

Hari ini agak sibuk sedikit sebab kena ke KL dengan Mr Don untuk meeting dengan Miss She. Betolak pukul 12 tengahari untuk meeting pukul 2pm. Alhamdulillah sempat. Lepas meeting balik Seremban dan terus talipon Dr Tan. Dr Tan kata kena bawa Abang K pergi hospital. Dia tak dapat buat apa-apa. Kalau boleh dielakkan aku tak mahu bawa abang K ke hospital. Bukan apa, tentu dia tak selesa. Kalau gi GH lagilah. Dengan waktu menunggu yang lama selalunya dia akan menjerit untuk balik kerumah.

Aku kena fikirkan bagaimana nak bawa abang K kehospital dan doktor mana yang dapat merawat dia dalam masa yang singkat supaya dia terus dapat rawatan. Moga Allah swt memudahkan proses ini. Lalu aku minta abang AL menolong aku mencari calon yang sesuai. Akhirnya dia bagi aku satu nombor untuk Doktor MI di KPJ. Malang sekali klinik dah tutup. Jadi aku kena cuba keesokkan hari.

Moga Allah swt memberikan aku kekuatan untuk tugasan ini.

Tadi pergi jumpa abang AH. Tentang pinjaman itu rupanya dia terlah membayar selama 5 tahun. Kemudian dia dapat arahan daripada orang atasan bahawa dia tidak perlu mambayar lagi. Jadi dia akurlah. Tup tup tup dapat surat dari lawyer. Camna ni? Anyway dia akan hubungi lawyer yang terkini untuk menjelaskan keadaan. Alhamdulillah aku sangat-sangatlah bersyukur benda ni akan settle.

Lama jugalah kami duduk bercerita. Tentang business, tentang keluarga. Aku yang dengarnya terasa sedih jugalah. Dia sudah pun berumur 63 tahun tapi masih perlu bekerja untuk menyara diri. Alhamdulillah dia masih sihat dan masih mampu berkerja. Bagi aku dugaan yang dia hadapi agak berat lagi hebat. Siapa sangka ya. Kalau jadi pada aku entah lah macamana aku dapat bertahan. Allah swt itu Maha Berkuasa dan Maha Mengetahui. Apa-apa pun aku doakan semoga dia & isteri diberikan kesihatan dan dirahmati sentiasa. Itu sahajalah yang dapat aku buat pada masa ni.

Kadangkala kita dengar dari satu sudut pandangan sahaja. Adalah lebih baik menilai dari beberapa sudut yang berbeza. Dan mendengar pendapat dari orang-orang yang berbeza. Mungkin kita dapat kefahaman yang lebih jelas dan lebih luas.

Oh ya. Sebenarnya pertemuan itu juga memberikan aku jawapan yang aku cari-cari buat beberapa hari ini. Aku sedari aku cuma manusia biasa yang mempunyai perasaan dan kehendak hidup. Cuma aku harapkan keputusan yang aku buat ini tidak melukakan mana-mana pihak. Mungkin ianya adalah yang terbaik buat semua Insyallah. Moga Allah swt memberikan aku jalan dan laluan agar ianya dipermudahkan. Amin.

Miss My Little Angel

Today I spoke to Yus about his Maakl Mutual investment. I suggested locking some of the profits. After explaining the process he agreed and allowed me to proceed. Its important to work with the client. As an advisor, we have to meet his needs and objectives. Market is upredictable so monthly switching is better to cost average the fund price.

The contractor came today to send some of the tools. They will start some of the work this week and definitely by Monday I have to move out from my home. Estimated cost to rebuild to be about RM120K. I had to reduce the work due to limited budget. Just get the necessary maintenance or upgrade done. I really don't want to put too much money on the house. There are still a lot of things that I have to consider - my daughter education, my husband illness and of course living expenses.

Managed to do a few things like go to bank rakyat, maybank, medivita pharmacy and giant. While I was at Giant, my daughter called and I did not hear her call. Kesian dia. Miss her so much. I just hope things are ok with her. She said that she is having a very busy week at school. She is sitting for her PMR exam this year. I pray that God will take care of her and look after her. I miss my little angel.

BReaKiNG MY FeaR

Today is the first time I drove to D&D Damansara on my own. I did miss the junction which I was supposed to take. Luckily I managed to find my way to another alternative road via TTDI kerinchi Link. I got there on time and parked at D&D reserved parking space.

I did quite a number of things as well - go to Seremban Parade to pay Jaja insurance, change the green scarf with slightly bigger white scarf, banked in Lailas & Fakrul cheque, buy aNion pads and pickup the letter from the post office.

What I was afraid of came true. The letter I received was a letter from the lawyers office. My cousin abang AH did not pay his study loan of 24K from Yayasan N9. Gosh I think that loan was taken in the 80s or early 90s. I have to meet up with him tomorrow to resolve the matter. Why for someone like him does not want to pay his study loan? I really don't understand.

Gratitude for the day

So I did what I said I would do. In addition I met with Diah and family early morning 8.30am at Peladang Cafe beside Giant Ampangan. We had breakfast and chat about the current investment scenario.

Then I went to the banks to settle my bills. About 10am I pickup my sister Meg at the KTM station. Wewent home to change our clothes. Then pickup Kak Noi before going to Port Dickson. Luckily we found the venue easily.

Fatin called up when we were driving back from PD. She said that she wanted to buy the school new baju kurung since hers were in bad shape. It would cost around RM75. THink of it, I think its quite expensive. The thing is she doesn't have a choice.

Anyway I am grateful that I had plenty of good food today. I think I ate way too much. I really should trim down on rice. And have more fruits and vegetable. I am glad that the travelling was smooth. Just that my car air conditioning is not cold enough to my liking. Other than that today is one of my best day. Thank God for everything.

What am I going to do today?

Well its early morning and I am unable to sleep. Thats why I am writing on this website. I have several things that I have planned for the day:
1) Go to the banks - Affinbank, AmBank and Alliance Bank to pay my car loan and credit cards bills
2) Go to Port Dickson to attend a relative wedding then
3) Come back to Seremban to attend another wedding
4) Make time to attend the Haj course by Ustaz Halim
5) Go to my cousins house before Maghrib to attend a 'kenduri'/gathering

Well first I have to get some sleep. I am drinking milk to increase my sleepiness. Wonder if it really works? My body is really tired but my brain is processing. Been wanting to write a book. Ideas keep running around my head but I have not put the words down. I really should. Lets see what happens in the morning. Adios!

What are friends for?

Sometimes in life we meet good and not so good friends. Recently someone asked me what am I looking for in my life? There is no right answers but I feel that a good friend will always direct you to a better path along the way. Its like when you are blind and about the bump into a wall, that friend will take your hand and lead you to an open safe path. And if your friend cares about you, they will support your good morals and advise you against the not so good ones. Well I guess I haven't found the friend that I am looking for. Am I giving up? No, not yet. Perhaps I will slow down a bit in my search and not be so trusting as I would like to. I guess its part of live, its part of learning, and its part of being a better person. I am sorry if I have hurt some friends along the way, and brush off some friends in some way. Its just that I have learned that I cannot compromise certain values that I believe in. And I definitely cannot please everybody. Of course, you can't force people to accept your values and your ways either. So, I am better off on my own.

Moments with my daughter

Today I went to visit my dear daughter at SSJB. My nephew bought the bus ticket to JB with company T. Well it was my first trip using the busliner. It seems the bus route to Rembau, Tampin and stop at Air Itam for lunch. Which is another additional hour ride from the busliner that I normally take. Thus, my visiting hours has shortened because I reached JB at 1pm and my next bus to go back home is at 4:30pm. That was a bitter lesson somewhat. I did enjoy the detour to Rembau and Tampin though. I wanted to have a longer chat with my daughter about her performance during the JB Arts Festival. Today we just had less than 2 hours together. Tomorrow is her exam and I told her to take the IQ supplement that I bought. Hopefully she will improve in her exam. I love you!

Retirement Planning

Tonight I went to a friend house to update him on his unit trust investment and to talk about his retirement plan. Since the stock market is bearish and might be for the time being, I suggest topping up his investments to lower down the average cost. I did lock some profits for him earlier which covers his current fund losses and thus preserve his capital. Since he is going to retire next year, we will have to re-allocate his funds to minimize the risk. I proposed that he invest in Land Bank which is considered low risk and will give him an average return of 20% per annum. If he accepts the proposal, both of us will sleep better regardless of the market condition.

Anyway since he has a fulltime housewife and 3 kids that are still schooling, money for investment is quite limited. Looking at the current condition, he would have to continue working after retirement.
