The Knox County Art League comes to Worthington April 2012! We are having a member show at The High Road Art Gallery in Worthington, Ohio in April. I encourage everyone to participate, especially the fine art, ceramic, woodcut & sculpture disciplines. This is a great venue for showcasing our work and the arts in Knox County.

The “Fine Arts Group” (we are still looking for a suitable name.) will be meeting on Wednesday January 18, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the KCAL Gallery. We are still in the throes of organizing a “Disorganized” group of artists, and can use your input for direction.

There are some issues on the table. A Plein Aire group is being discussed, at least a couple of shows in 2012, an on-line opportunity to show your work on our website, some classes for the public in the spring, and possibly some art based travel opportunities.

This is a pretty exciting time for our “Nameless Group”, and we can use your input, enthusiasm, and creativity. We will be meeting at the KCAL this time, and will be trading cookies for ideas.

The KCAL Board of Directors meets the third Thursday of every month. The next meeting is scheduled for Thursday January 19th at 6 PM at the 3 N. Main St., Gallery.
