Equality among equals

Few days ago, bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan was detained at a US airport, allegedly because of his surname. This received media spot-light. Ok...he is an iconic person in India, but this happens to many citizens in India...where VIPs like him get the privelege and they come in the exception list. Look at Praful Patel, he said -- "We will take this matter with US". How common Indian would be detained....who cares....
This is not about Shah Rukh Khan, or this specific incident, alone. It is only natural for him to feel aggrieved; immigration procedures are not exactly pleasant. But the officials were just doing their job. The US is well within its rights to lay down the law on its soil, which has ensnared celebrity Americans as well: Edward Kennedy and Al Gore. After the next day of his detention, we got the news about Bob Dylan being questioned by 2 young police cops in US....who is the iconic person there...This shows how transparent US is. Instead of crying foul, this incident should lead us to examine the inadequacies of our own system – on the security front, and our social attitudes. A rule-bound system such as the US’s shows how great Democracy they are, no matter how big democracy India is.

Few days ago, Kalam's checking by american airlines was in top news. And see Kalam, he didn't said much about that incident, but Shah Rukh could have beared....but he gave advice to US - "America needs to offer more warmth"...in indirect words he meant, give more privilege to us VIPs....:P

This shows how brains of iconic class in India is shadowed by the VIP culture prevailing in India. See if our icons are like that, where is the country heading?

Why then must a very large list of politicians – and their families, in some cases – be exempt from security checks at our airports? Judges and bureaucrats, along with our netas hold up traffic on a daily basis when they go about town, causing much inconvenience to the public. I think time has come for think for us, the public that we sack these powers from these politicians and other VIPs.....instead of crying foul...ohh our hero was detained in US...etc...etc.... Its time to wake up............:D....thoda jyada ho gaya...

Right now our society is going like "Equaltiy among equals", that is if you are in general public....you will all be treated like that ... and if you are VIPs... than you will be treated differently. Of course its true that a Billionaire will not have feast with beggars, etc , so above phrase that "Equality among Equals" is valid...but when it comes to democracy , we all should have Equal rights....instead of right of Equality...:D

India needs infrastructure

When BJP seemed to be out of the league in the General Elections 2009, I was bit sad...but when the results were out I was happy because UPA turned out to be single largest alliance independent of Left....:)

How can party like BJP win which has no base in states like Kerala, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, North East....BJP needs to introspect how can it do that...because if it is Hindu Party and other show them secular, BJP has to show that other are pseudo-secular....and if Ram Mandir is very important than there must be a mosque there as well...but leave it now congress is in reign...and we hope that they do something v.good taking advantage of the mandate people gave to them....:)

Our FM has presented a budget...its really a very good one... A single budget can’t solve all financial problems. The FM has tried to achieve 4% agricultural growth which is a positive step. The National Mission for Female Literacy should lead to higher literacy. Rise in income exemption limit by Rs 10,000 will help the common man. It focuses on infrastructure as well, like handling Mumbai monsoon situation. There are various other things he mentioned...hope this year's budget fulfils its cause and next year's budget drifts India towards becoming super power in true sense....May India shine...:)

During the recent global economic turmoil, India has turned in an enviable performance: it has sustained financial stability and high growth even while some of the biggest economies have succumbed. As this budget is a nice one, it seems that India will do still better...but we should not rest...we have to counter China both economically and its millitary too.....and certainly this budgets moves us in positive direction. Budget is surely helpful in short-term goals but has no long-term planning...:P

I have been playing guitar for 1 year now, and now it has been that guitar is being playing me. I learnt a lot from guitar playing. It keeps you within yourself. It was this passion which treated my blogomania.

Psychology of Guitar Playing
There are certain psychological conditions, which I think we can fall prey to, that make our progress as guitarists and musicians much more difficult than it needs to be. One of these conditions is the chronic mood of doubt, which manifests itself as the spoken or unspoken question of "Do I have any Natural Talent for this? Can I learn to play guitar? Am I kidding myself here, thinking I can learn to play like these obviously talented players I hear, who make me feel so inadequate? Do I have to stick at these points? Could I play as good as Jimi Hendrix or Slash or Eric Clapton?? " Boy, I spent a lot of time feeling like that. Leave all the big names...my 1st sir of guitar...Suraj Sir, he plays guitar so good..I wished I could play like him..These things persist even if you become okay sort of guitar..For example I saw, Stevie Ray Vaughan playing paganini in Crossroads...it was amazing and mind-blowing.So would I'll be able to play it...Could I play November Rain on guitar...Who knows...but we have to follow the concept what vedas elucidate: "chare veti"...that is "move on".

Well back to point of natural talent...I do think there is something called natural talent..but natural talent is not good enough..guitar wants practise...Practise can be less if you have natural talent. My 1 friend don't have pinky finger but still he plays, hats off to him for his such a great passion...

After learning from Suraj Sir, I started downloading videos from the internet and didn't want to share it on our local-network, because I didnt wanted others to see it..But thanks to Himanshu(Dohte is what he is called, my good friend) he corrected my character flaw.

Besides, my fondest desire as a child was to be play a guitar and to become a pilot..Thnx to god for fulfilling my 1 wish, and see how great his greatness is...he gives when no one excepts..I left the hope of learning guitar..But it is HIM who when decides give you everything when he feels right..

Other factor is continuity . Continuity is important no matter how much time you give..

It took me a while to understand why all people who said they wanted to play the guitar didn't spend most of their day doing it. In starting few friends of mine said they will play guitar and rock this world, (ya in the start we meant the same..But alas this type of enthusiasm lasts in start only, in many cases. Like in our TIME class, teacher has said to work on vocab continuously but still sometime I work and sometime I note. One must not see that guitar playing is cool, but rather see whether he likes it or not. Or better he can continue or not??

I started the guitar in 5th semester, thanks to God that I found a person who gave me my 1st guitar teacher's contact... I asked him(just on a way on lanka, as he was carrying guitar), who was carrying guitar -- "from whom does he learns guitar" and luckily I got 1st proper teacher for guitar. Earlier I used to play15-30 minutes a day and as time went by practise increased. Learnt 1 song in 1-2 months...Song was Chura Liya hai...a nice melodic Hindi Song...So what we need is becoming patient, learn 1 but properly...slowly .. according to your capability ... n remain happy rather than frustated..be bit tolerant..

Seeing people starting the guitar
I saw people learning from Suraj Sir, they "tend" to do everything right, from sitting comfortably with the instrument, to positioning and using the fingers. Some people do everything wrong, and must be shown, painstakingly and minutely, exactly what to do. So go on, ask teacher and just give time..:)

Dear blog, you are now not a just for a change blog, because I have not yet left you after starting to play guitar .. :)..niether my guitar playing is just for a change...

Today I would show you one of the breaking news of all time...:P

As you would have seen what a great news....Commissioner's dog ...as u would have read his name is Sanif, after all its commissioner's dog, so we must know the name..like we knew the name of Amir's dog(Shah Rukh)..Here people loose relatives..n no one cares but see how human beings are changing..they are caring for dogs, n its not the animal love, because who knows how street dogs die..But thank god Sanif is backk....Even Maneka Gandhi will be happy to hear this news..:P..that except her, now even police also care for dogs..

This is not just 1 news channel...there are many..For such type of news, my favourite is India TV. I am sure
no one can equal them her...

This is not just one news, in which people seeing news, feel like laughing.
But laughing is very important, and seeing these channels for 15 minutes daily helps you a lot
but my warning is that please don't watch it for more than that, because its good to avoid
headache..
There are other channels like NDTV Imagine, 24X7, etc.. they are better for better news...
In one way it is good that newschannels are trying to give entertainment...and that too in a
way that they are serious but other people like us laugh...:)
I wish I reach home, and can see these news full of jocose manner..:)

PM == Modi ??

Corporate India is backing Modi for the post of PM. This has created flutter in the political circles. I like him as the politician, and was really happy when he won the Gujarat elections, but at that time no one was backing him, for instance, media was criticizing him, elements in BJP were against him, and least powerful Congress was playing riot card against him.
But Guj backed him, and he won. I didn't turned off the TV when he won and watched the news till 3 a.m. in the morning. After lost Congress said, we need to rethink from within. Little days later congress said - May be he is successful in Guj. but whole India will not accept him.

But time has changed. Top honchos of India Inc endorsed Modi as PM. First it was Ratan Tata and now its Anil Ambani and Sunil Bharti Mittal coming out in support of Gujarat Chief Minister.
Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Summit, the tycoons said that in Modi they see a leader who could lead the nation to prosperity in the decades to come.
If Narendra Modi can lead a state so well, just imagine how well will he lead the country, Ambani said.
Mittal echoed the sentiment. We run big companies but if there is one man who can run the whole state and the nation then he is Narendra Modi, he said. So now corporate India is backing him.

Modi's success story:
Modi has won two elections and put Gujarat’s industrialisation on the fast track. Under his leadership, Gujarat has been able to attract investments worth many crores and the state has a favourable environment for business.
Modi's failure:
However, the ghost of the 2002 riots refuses to leave him and his detractors have been crying hoarse that he can't be a true leader, he is a fascist, etc-etc, and he can't lead the country.

Anti - Modi campaign
Cleary Congress is afraid of Modi's growing popularity. So it is calling Modi a Hitler. But in a way it is calling itself akin to the unstable Weimer Republic that Hitler found so easy to subsume in collective hysteria. If India of 2009 is comparable to the Germany of past, then it shows Manmohan Singh, Sonia & Rahul Gandhi would not be able to stop him,.......like they are incapable of what........hahahahhah....In fact as self-goals go, BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy did a far better job by asking an incredulous media: Do industrialists appoint Prime Ministers?

But even Hitler was not wrong. He would have ruled the world but he failed due to many reasons as strategist and historians tell. But what America is doing ?? It is similar to what Nazis did.But leave it, Modi is not like Hitler at all. But he is strict, he has cut the wings of red-tapism, he is surely a great tension for Congress.

Appeal for Modi
The appeal of Modi is not based on a uniform perception of the man. Some view Modi as Shivaji mould, one who is unflinching in taking on the enemies of India, particularly terrorists inside the country and abroad. His own fierce personal integrity has added to the charm and his trouble with a US visa has reinforced his image as a man who can keep his nerve.
To others he comes across as a strong, no-nonsense leader very much like Indira Gandhi. During the Gujarat elections of 2007, he cleary showed who the people of Guj. love, though media, Congress, and elements in BJP were against him. It was his ability to show small-time politicians their place which endeared him to the voters. Here Vasundhra Raje failed. The third appeal of Modi is centered on his reputation as a pragmatic, open-minded and committed moderniser. His purposeful control over his administration, his ability to cut red-tape, reduce corruption and make efficiency a hallmark of governance separates him from fellow politicians. No wonder Indian industry supports him enthusiastically.

Though not given US media, wherever Modi lands, he is hailed by many, his meetings are attended by masses. He is on the odd side of 50, but still attracts young India, which clearly shows his capability. There is no politician of his level in India right now. Even PM in waiting Advani has said that Modi has done better than him in his career. Sonia Gandhi called him - "maut ka saudagar" we know what people of Gujarat did.

Clearly time is surely to come when we see Modi ruling India. He is a strong leader like Sardar Patel & Indira Gandhi. But there are some blots on his political career, which he has to remove somehow. He has to take in confidence every national of our country belonging to any religion, cast or creed. So time is changing and stage is setting for Modi to rule India. However it is not this General Election where Modi would occupy centre-stage. For different reasons, neither the BJP leadership (as opposed to the rank-and-file) nor the NDA partners are in favour. As a matter of fact, Modi too doesn’t feel that this is the time to leave Gujarat. He is unequivocally committed to Advani’s candidature. The Modi Fan Club will have to await the election to the 16th Lok Sabha before it can translate its enthusiasm into a landmark verdict. May we see the dawn of Modi's era which will shook the world.......................

India --->Super Power

India is tending towards superpower.India is growing like a strong power, what our economic growth is showing. I tried to find out why we are growing at a decent rate???? We blame our politicians, we lack infrastructure - like good roads or good harbours, and also our airports are in no comparison to that of Europe, US or China,also our cities face long hours of black out. so what we have that is making us such a remarkable economy??.

Our neighbours have anti-India fealings. Consider Nepal where Maoists are in power have hatred for India. China , everybody knows is Enemy No. 1 for India. Who can forget Pakistan and Bangladesh. But with the coming of Hasina in power, we expact a friend in Bangladesh. Even Pakistan will be annoyed and "hairaan - pareshan" that instead of having such a long Proxy War against India, its opponent is growing as 2nd Largest Growing Economy, and Pakistan is seen as a failed state.

People in India are becoming more and more sincere and understanding. After Mumbai attacks, there were no riots etc. People were angry on politicians rather than Muslims of India. May be in few years people may become more secular, and any pseudo-muslim or pseudo-saffron parties like Congress and BJP may get good answers from public if they try to play their cards of religious polarisation during polls, etc. Leader's like Sheila dikshit, Narendra Modi n also CM's of MP, Jharkhand were given second chance by the public, just because they worked when they were in power. But still if our political parties make some laws, i mean serious laws to make the requirement for Netas of India like they are "this much" educated, they participated in these debates, etc, our condition will improve further. So educated people will have educated and intelligent leaders also. But even with such a level of politicians India is heading towards becoming super-power.

When I look towards west, I see many things which India lacks. We lack good infrastructure like there good and fancy roads, airports; we also lack good medical insurance, good social insurance, we face power-cuts. But still we have something that they lack. Even though they have success (which is becoming saturated now), they also face such a depression, and they take drugs etc., and it is here where we get benefit. They need pschyatrist, but we have saints and sadhus here. Some say, let them be , what change these spiritual discourses give us?? See the state of India....it is still a corrupt nation. But then comes the simple answer for those- if they wouldn't have given their preachings, we would have become more corrupt, we would have more depressions, more druggists. And still if you have problem, plz keep it to yourself. Let them hear, and do what they preach. At least, who hear will not be taught something wrong. It will only teach them to become "Better man".

We also have such a great caste system. We have 1 class called - "vaishya" class. We say that this class has business in their blood. So we have "baniyas", gujratis, sindhis, jain's and various other class rocking the business of India. So even though we don't have such a great help from our state, we still have great going.

Take our country's diversity. See we have punjabies, gujraties, marathis, assamese, tamils, ......so many that I can't write, because i am not hard-working. We than have diversity in religions as well. Our country have riots, don't know since when, because we had riots before freedom, than at the time of freedom, 1984 Sikh riots, 1992 Mumbai riots, than 2002 godhra massacre and then gujarat riots, and then Mau riots. But now this - the double whammy of horrendous terror spectacle in Mumbai which made Muslims look down-hearted in their own country. But see there were no riots this time. But despite this our counrty seemed united this time. This clearly shows a big power is set to rule the whole world.

Last but not least, we our Indians. We have 1 special thing called ---- "jugaad". So we will become super-power even though we lack many important things. Here we have so many gods and godesses, and we can say that here everything is "bhagwan bharose".

2008: Year of success

Though year 2008 has blots like 26/11 and other terror strikes, it is still the year of success.

We saw India at its sports high. A glorisous chapter was added to the annals of Indian Boxing when India won bronze in 2008 olympics, and 4 golden boxer hit their golden gluffs and made we Indians proud. This continued in World Cup 2008 also. But though we did good we could have still done better, by wonning gold because ye dil maange more. In badminton , who can forget how Saina Nehwal made up to the top 10 and also made up to the semi's of world cup. But still again we could have won there. But still we did our best I think. Mahesh Bhupati's play was v. good this year. India shined in golf and hero was Jeev Milkha Singh, who continued playing for India though his wife had pregnancy. Billiards and Chess were also v.v. good for India.

Though it was not good year for Bollywood earlier. But as we know Hrithik gave a gift to Bollywood as Jodha Akbar was hit and this would have given sigh of relief to our film Industry. Later Akshaya gave some hits. At end Shahrukh and Aamir just gave tremendous hits , with ghazni earning 100+millions.

Financially it as not a good year. First we saw global melt down. This was not at all a good year for stock markets as well. Mumbai blasts also hurt our tourism industry as well. Also India's growth rate fall down to its all time low since 15 years. But still I think, this year was bit skeptical but I think 2009 will be year of sowing rather than reaping, because in this year our economies will find the way to the track.

Politically also we saw 2009 at a good start. Barack replaced Bush and Haseena back in power in Bangladesh. Wish our puppet PM turns into a finance minister this year or BJP sweeps Lok Sabha polls. Hope so whoever comes proves a stronger nation leader, and we show off China that we are your Big Brother in Asia. I pray our our country becomes Super Power.

As far as I am concerned 2008 gave me few nice things. This was the year I found my love and enjoyed playing guitar. But I din't get my grades upgraded. heheh......
But thx to 2008 and wishing the same for 2009. Because it is more special one. As usual I don't amke any resolutions, and so this continues this year. I wish this year goes well to all my well wishers and all the Indians throughout this world.

Our puppet PM(PPM) on terrorism

Our puppet PM speaks v. tough on terrorism whenever some terror strike occurs, but he do nothing. I think he likes action replays. May be so. Mr. puppet PM (PPM) please stop acting like this, and ask your master to be little tough.
Congress has a worst policy on terrorism we can see in the past. First of all they interfered in Sri Lanka and still doing same. But when comes to India they are numb. This PPM has condemned terrorism before the Lok Sabha in no uncertain terms. He proclaimed that "the use of terrorism as an instrument of state policy is no longer acceptable. There should be no double standards in the global fight against terrorism. There are no good or bad terrorists. There is no cause that justifies the massacre and killing of innocent people…" . But this govt. is still supporting terrorism in Sri Lanka because leaders of South who are in govt. speak pro-LTTe and our govt. on the other hand is interfering in Sri Lanka and this pro-Sri Lankan policy may again bring terrorism to India through LTTE. Mr. PPM please deal with naxalism, terrorism in N.Eastern India, terrorism from Pak first rather than taking one more terror outfit's enemity.

Plz admit your failure rather than criticising BJP. Till 90's Congress didn't even admitted any cross border infiltration. Now you came and removed POTA due to anti-BJP policy which has hurt the nation and its pride that terrorists can come from anywhere and attack our homes and have fun. Learn from Indira Gandhi, how she handled operation Blue Star. You have failed our nation thousands of time.

Wherever you fail you just blamed BJP. Please end this politics, nation is going through apocalypse and you are thinking of blaming each other. Finally you have to bring UAPA, which is a right but a small step to fight terror. Also plz stop terrorisms by making the Muslims believe by making them progress too. By making them walk along with us.

Stop treating Muslims as if they are your vote bank, think of them a bit. Have they made any progress since past. Half of the terrorism will be handled if you follow pro-muslim policy like reserving there posts in public sector or educational field say 5%, for the Muslims not in creamy layer.

You blame BJP and ISI and see your Congress which is also responsible. I hope you try to remove the roots of the terror rather than playing the blame game. You speak off foolishly whenever you do. For eg. take this statement of yours in reply to opposition - "We have solved the 7/11 bomb blasts case,” and adding that the attacks were planned by ISI in Pakistan and carried out by Pakistan-based militant group LeT with the help of banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI). Wowwwwwwwwwwwww
What a great thing you have done.Is your Government is taking credit for the 13 arrests in the Mumbai 7-11 blasts then what have you done since 30th Sept 2006 when the same Mumbai Police who made those 13 arrests also revealed the role of Pakistan’s ISI in the blasts ?
What do have you have to say to the kith and kin of the 200 odd victims of the 7-11 blasts in holding the Pakistan’s ISI to account for their loss ?
What you have done since than against Pak rather than playing only diplomacy which doesn't seem to be working??
You are great ................... just great. What you haven't done you take credit of that thing. May god help you. I think you brain is washed and you are considering yourself in the squad of Mumbai Police. Ask your master that whether you are Puppet prime minister or you are a policemen. In both cases you are puppet.

Please stop blame game and do something. Care for the life of your brave soldiers and citizens of India. I think even puppets have 1 role - make people smile and laugh. Plz do that as a puppet. Or better ask your master to do so. We need to end land free of terror, we can't live in our country with fear. It is our home and not any terrorist's. Teach them lesson and rather than loosing from them again and again. We are Indians, and we can shatter whole world ,than what the hell terrorism-supporting-Pakistan is??

Mr. PPM stop showing your delinquency on terrorism, and do work on ground rather than taking just as a case of vote bank policy.

PM = puppet's master

India is going through a v. awkward condition right now.
Country is headed by a puppet. He is great personality as all
of the people in the country know - Dr. MMS ,i.e. Manmohan Singh.
When NDA lost in the elections I was happy, but didn't knew that
my happiness for my nation was short-lived. A person who knew nothing
of politics become the PM of the nation. At 1 time we were having
2 great persons at high posts of nation, i.e. president and PM
as Sir Abdul Kalam and MMS. But alas Kalam had to go due to conspiracy of
UPA. And new person who became President of India was the person who didn't
even knew the history of our country. This shows that the strongest leader
guiding the country is Sonia Gandhi and not MMS.

I really respect MMS as economist but as a PM he has ruined the nation. May
be UPA may argue that they have given better growth rate to the nation but
NDA's schedule was also good because in there time there was a Kargil war.

In case of dealing with terrorism they are completely failed. When few terror strike took place , BJP demanded POTA, but UPA was clearly playing politics.
If they have made POTA we have to remove it. The reason given was that why should we have such an anti-terror law that can't stop terrorism. But I think these politicians will be knowing well that even if there are traffic laws but still traffic crime is not zero. At least that terror law would have given some fear in the hearts of terrorists. And any terror strike occurs MMS (a good puppet) repeats the same old sentence which conveyed sorrow and warnings for terrorists,
for eg.

1. I can't sleep full night after seeing that family member of victim seen crying
2. I salute the courage and patriotism of the police officers, including the Chief of the Anti-Terror Squad, Shri Hemant Karkare and men who have laid down their lives in fighting these terrorists. I assure the country that we will attend in an urgent and serious manner to police reform so that the law and order authorities can work unitedly, effectively and in a determined manner to tackle such threats to national integrity.

I think he must not have slept for full of his tenure because so many terror strikes occur. For second point I would say it would have been better if someone v. close to your family would have died, then only you would have know what terrorism is. You are puppet and not any true person, plz leave such a dignified post and let someone better rule. Many a attack took place, you said thousands of time the things what you are not capable of. You are just helping pakistan, because only stronger rules and even though our nation is capable enough

Spirit of India

Though we are attacked and will later be attacked later also.
But we are Indians. We have been invaded since the time of Mughals, but
they can't take one thing - our spirit. Our soldiers fought bravely
but still lack of intelligence cannot be overruled.

Though we can't guarantee what will happen in future about terrorist attacks
but still I am sure that we Indians will stand together whatever may happen.

But still we want that the culprits behind the bomb blasts should be punished severely.
The culprits we are dealing with are ----
1. Within Govt of India.
2. Pakistan based terrorism / Naxalism /

In case of 26/11 attacks it was Pakistan as well as our security lapses.
Both the causes have to be seen so that we can prevent further future attacks.
Pakistan blamed India for its lack of Intelligence and India blamed Pak for its
anti-India camps going on its soil.

But in true sense are both India and Pakistan. This attack shook whole of the country
and people began to say that it is our 9/11. It made people realize where our intelligence
agencies stood, what our politicians think and certainly it made people more aware towards the
problem nation is facing for so many years.

There are many solutions to combat terror. for eg.
1. Changing our mindset
2. Stronger intelligence
3. Carpet bombing on pakistan and pakistani bases before pakistan tries to retaliate

By changing our mindset it means that people should become more aware. For eg. in olden days
if any new person entered in any locality people questioned him who he is? This can help a lot.
Though this is not applicable in case of Mumbai blasts.Another good change is which we already see
is that people have now forced the govt. which is v.v. important.

Stronger intelligence means that RAW and all other agencies should given more funds and there
agents should become more active.

Carpet bombing should be done on some parts of the pakistan where these training camps operate.
If pakistan is planning to retaliate(which is possible if our intelligence agencies give information
on time.) we should attack before , what Israel did to Saudi Arabia.

But carpet bombing requires will which weak PM's like Manmohan cannot do. He is just a person who can say
something and can't do a bit of it. Mr. PM you would have been a better Finance Minister. Plz leave this
such a dignified post of PM, because puppets shouldn;t become PM.

60th Independence

Today was Independence day, and this is the day on which our nation was set free by the British Empire. Hmm, this is day of pleasure, pride and happiness for WE INDIANS.
But still I am feeling a bit sad about this day. It was 14th Aug, 1947. J.L. Nehru and some other congress leaders were discussing on who should be the minister in his government, and on the other hand our Father of the nation, who with his golden pen wrote the story of freedom, was sleeping at his house. Congress has put him aside since 1945, making him a senior party member.
Well next day came and J.L. Nehru handed over the envelope to Lord Mountbatten, which contained the name of 13 members in his assembly. But funny thing happened that the envelope got exchanged, and he gave Mountbatten the envelope containing the blank slip.
Gandhiji celebrated independence day with fast. When 1 daily asked him , how is he feeling, he said " I don't have any power left from within." I think he was sad about nation's break down into 2 pieces, therefore he said so.
Here some people were celebrating. Some were in confusion. Take Jinnah's daughter in Bombay, where both flags were hosted. In some parts there were looting, raping and killing was going on. Nation was burning in the fire of Hindu - Muslim fight.
Winston Churchill was not happy about the Independence being given to India. He said British shouldn't have left their control over India, because India can break into pieces due to civil war. But his future prediction has been proved a trash by We Indians. Whenever there is any extremism , like Sikh Extremism people say that India is about to break. Whenever there is less rainfall people say that nation is about to face faminine. But see our Mother India, she is standing High on her feet, and saying I would always feed my babies, no matter what. Maa, tujhe salaam.
No matter what we have gained, we have stood together and that's the biggest acheivement of 60 years of Independence. Rest is bhagwaan bharose in India. Still there are movements like non-cooperation, etc are going on , which our ancestors used to do against British Raj. Same we are doing with our Government. So nothing much has changed, which could have changed. But still we should try our best that our nation changes, and we compete some good nation like China. But We are We, and we the Indians will make our Mother Nation feel proud of Us.

India gets its first individual gold in Olympics, which is really a point of pleasure for the nation. Abhinav Bindra after getting the gold in Olympics 2008 has inscribed his name with golden letters in the Indian Sporting History.
It was v.much expected that Indian Shooting team will give one of the best performance in the Olympics. Over the years no. of Indian Shooters have won of lot competitions worldwide. Rajyavardhan Rathore also won silver in the last Olympics.
But consider the size of our nation. 2nd most populated nation, getting just 1 or 2 medals ......... what is this?? Consider China won its first gold in 1984 in shooting only. But after that it kept climbing in the medal tally. China is close to US in almost everything - economy, military........and at present our concern Olympics. It has won 9 medals , but India has only made it debut. Ok, we can't match the high profile support for sport in such a small time, but if we invest money in other sports other than cricket, we can also see that happen in future.
India has won a dozen and half of medals in Olympics, most would be due to hockey, I think. Indian shooting and weightlifting is fine. To some extent, sponsors are now present for shooting, but not so much like in cricket. But other sports like hockey , etc still lack funds and government support.
There is overflowing of money in cricket, and in other sports there is scarcity. So government can make some policy that redirects money from inflowing in cricket to other sports. Ya hats off to Abhinav Bindra, for such a brilliant performance. But India needs lots many like Bindra, who represent nation in Olympics and other sports and earn our nation the glory, which would make 1 billion people happy.

Salute to Sam Bahadur

It was really sad that Sam bahadur passed away. He was the 1st Field Martial of India and the leader of the Army in 1971, when India beat Pakistan badly.
But alas even the Defense Minister didn't attend his death ceremony. These politicians have forgotten him.
But the whole Nation pays tribute to such a great person born on the Indian Soil.

Upgrading NITs to IITs

In the time of NDA ruling our country, 1 person i liked very much was our MHRD(Ministry of Human Resources and Development) minister Mr. Murali Manohar Joshi. He came up with the idea of upgrading NITs to IITs and changing IITs to IISc's. So country can have 6 premiere research institutes and 20 IITs. But alas the govt felled and congress came into power as ruling party.

Now this new MHRD minister Mr. Arjun Singh has been 1 of the most controversial MHRD minister. 1st of all he placed govt into the embarassing position by placing the idea of quota for OBCs(Other Backward Classes) on the table of govt's 5 year plan. Also he is making new IITs at a place where there was no IIT at all . For example take IIT Bhubhaneshwar --- newly made IIT has no infrastructure and so students have to go and study at IIT Kharagpur for 1st year. Also they still don't know how to arrange faculty when country is facing shortage of good Proffessors already. Post of the proff's are already empty in many IITs and other premiere institutes of engineering.

If they would have upgraded NITs to IITs , country would have 20 IITs. This would have reduced a bit tension for students because students preparing for IIT-JEE would have got higher percentage chance of getting selected into IIT, because of increased number of seats. Also on the practical level of implementation government would have a lots of infrastructure already. Only thing need would have been upgradation of somethings which could be done in 1 or 2 years. This would have been better than making new IITs with no infrastructure at all and students getting shift here and there.

NITs are doing well right now. Only thing is that they don't get as much funds as IITs . So if they get high funding even they will perform well and in 1 or 2 years equivalent to IITs. NITs like Surathkal and Tirchi already have been marked top 10 many times by India today and some other agencies. So it clearly shows that NITs have capability and if they get proper funding with IIT tag, surely they can perform as good as IITs.

I sometimes wish that previous MHRD minister comes into power and implement his policies for the betterment of the country instead of playing dirty politics.

Why do i blog?
This question is continuously asked by SR(my frnd) and my gf and some other people. Ok ya i m not a good blogger,some people are born with the blogging talent but what to say about me. I am a null blogger and I should say that i blog because i'm generally free and it has become a sort of hobby to me. So if any1 has any problem , i m sorry but if i have to improve (i know i have many flaws), i have to start somewhere nd keep going.

Learning guitar from a kid

A kid who may be nearly 6 yrs of age came with her mom and her mom use to learn hamonium from her . Today what a funny thing happened was that little child played harmonium and that to a happy birthday song. So all the students sitting there also learned this song from her and she enjoyed this a lot. Seeing her smile feels like a godliness is near. But at last i also learn this song.

Today DDS's (my frnd) phone was stolen when he was in the deep sleep. The things stolen were his mobile phone and his purse having Rs. 800, ID card, ATM card and some more important papers.
The person who stole the phone didn't switched off the phone like ordinary thieves in colleges do. So Dhano(or DDS) had good luck and picked up phone when we called on Dhano's number so many times. And tomorrow he has asked us to come at station to pick up the cell after we offered him considerable amount of money. Now it is left on tomorrow.
Meanwhile, we came to know that guy was from IIT - Roorkee. Now question is why do students from even such reputated colleges steal. Few days ago even a laptop was stolen in IIT R and convict was the friend of victim only. This is not only the case of IIT R. It happens in other colleges also. For eg. in our college(not in our branch where valuables are stolen by mess workers or some unknown visitors) students do steal. For example in our college, in 1 branch some mobile phone and cash of few people was stolen. And ppl say that there branchmate are responsible for it.
So y do IITians and other college students steal. Even in BIET , Jhansi there were stealing of mobile phone in common. There are many reasons but final answer in money and bad habbits.
1. Drug Addiction - 1 reason is drug addiction. People don't have money (not that they are from poor families) for drugs etc. There parents will naturally ask where are their sons spending money if students ask for more money. So to cover up expenses they steal from there friends.
2. Money Making - Other reason is money making. People get money ...... that to free with 1 successful handwash they can get 3-10 thousands in a minute.

Money is the basic need today. And people don't have controls on their minds and also on there habbits. So what they do is -- get money somehow and somewhere ......... and for it many things are responsible. Parents lineant behaviour is one of them. People dont control their children and so they don't even come to know that their children are having bad habbits. We can also put it in other way is संस्कारों की कमी । Ya, that's the big issue today though future generation is ignoring it today due to various reasons which i think I shouldn't discuss here.
Other reasons are company people are in .......... If you are in the bad company you are going to do in future. If you are in rich company ppl you may get depressed and you know that your parents' pay or income is not that much ....than you should understand your limit...but alas people fail to understand it. And so fell to bad habbit of stealing. Here parent's role is to grasp their children's thoughts and make them realize what there condition is .

There is short fable which i think few people may have heard. Tilak was small. He was not from a rich family. And he used to go to school with his mother or father(I don't remember). He saw other students bringing good biscuits in their lunch box..and his father felt sad and asked him one day that do you want such biscuits....small Tilak said "NO" . So such kind of children tend to become great in future.

Also atleast one should have humanity which people learn seeing there neighbourhood especially parents. The company they are in should also be monitered by the parents only. But what about those who are already spoiled. This can be resolved by the parents keeping special attention what their son is doing. So parents have to play key role. This role is to played until there child become morally responsible. Thank God about my branch , I think all are.

Lack of moral responsibility is not only the cause of theft going in Engineering Colleges.
Our ITBHU is great. Laptops are stolen , not by breaking the locks but by opening the locks....lol..See the security. Now if you complain the Warden he would ask the guard not to allow even students outside easily , though 1 day before even strangers can pass through the gates of the hostel. So even we have to face double trouble. First, stealing is done .. and later even going out or coming inside the hostel freely is a problem.

So to prevent stealing in college is not that easy. You can keep guards etc, but this is not very much a preventive method because what can guard do if your friend only is the thief. But keeping intelligent guards do prevent theft to some extent. But to prevent stealing by your friends or colleagues you can do few things . Keep track of your friends. Remain alert. Parents should teach their children the moral respnsibiltiy which can benefit our educated society.

1. Click on the run and type in “MSCONFIG” and press Enter
2. Once the System Configuration tool loads, click on the Boot tab
3. Under Boot Options check “No GUI boot”

You can make it by following the step by step below

step 1: first you go to start menu and then choose run.
step2: After you choose run,it appears a little box,then you can type regedit.
step3:Find the key that you need by following this
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \
InternetSettings
step4:On the right box,right click and choose new ,then continue choose DWORD Value
step5:type into the box : MaxConnectionsPerServer
step6:Just right click on that key and choose modify,and then type the value that you want into the value box(when you type the large number then your browser faster)
step7:create another key such as MaxConnectionsPer1_0Server (do the same the above steps)
step8:finish
Now just close every thing and restart your computer,then run your Internet Explorer again, see what happen
It should be run faster than usual.

Deleting hibernate files (hiberfil.sys) in vista

Delete Hibernate File
When you use hibernate in Windows Vista, it creates a file called hiberfil.sys. This file can grow rather large and you may want to remove it. A simple way to delete it:
a) log on as the Administrator
b) start Command Prompt then type: powercfg -h off
c) hit enter

Disabling various vista features

1.Disable the ScreenSaver if you don't need it. Rt-Click desktop > ScreenSaver > None > OK. Useful esp if have any tasks running in the background.

2.Fonts take time to load. Removing some can save on resources. But one must be careful in deciding which fonts to remove. If you delete some system fonts, you may b in for trouble. Tweak VI Pro is a good shareware to manage fonts. It uninstall's fonts without physically removing them. Open its help file. It lists down the system fonts which must not be deleted ! use the list; and then decide what to delete and what to keep.

3. Get rid of all the extra programs Windows Vista installs. You may not be using some like WLM, Calculator, Games, Meeting Space, Fax, etc. Go To Control Panel\ Programs\ Programs and Features > Turn windows On or Off and do the needful. But wait, before you rush, exercise a little caution here ! For instance you may want to turn off "Tablet PC Components etc"; but then get set to miss the Clipping Tool too !

4. Disable Transient Multimon Manager (TMM) : The Transient Multimon Manager (TMM) is a Microsoft Windows Vista operating system feature targeted at improving the user experience of connecting and disconnecting displays, particularly for the mobile user.

When you start Vista, you see a 2-3 sec delay followed by a blank black screen. This is the time Vista searches for external monitors. So if you dont use an external monitor, you could always safely turn this off!

To do so, Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Task Schedular.
On LHS, expand "Task Scheduler Library" then expand "Microsoft", then expand "Windows" and finally click "MobilePC". You will see a task called "TMM". Rt-Click on it, and select "Disable".

5. Go To Control Panel\System and Maintenance\Performance Information and Tools. On the LHS you will see options to Adjust Indexing options, visual effects, power Settings, etc. These all help directly and indirectly.

6. The default power setting in the "Power Saver" plan limits the CPU to 50 percent. Open the Power Options control panel and change it to "High Performance" to give your CPU full throttle.

7. Turn off Indexing:
File Indexing in Vista along with previous versions of Windows still seems to be a resource hog. At first glance the indexing service (searchindexer.exe) takes 5-7MB of memory, is constantly creating excessive I/O tasks for your hard disk, and disabling indexing completely should also reduce Page File usage. First you must untick files to index under "Indexing Options" in the control panel, however the complete way to disable indexing would also involve going into your hard disk's properties and unticking the option "Index this drive for faster searching". Then you must go into Services.msc, disable and stop the "Windows Search" Service. So if you do much searching on your machine, this moght seem like a good idea !

8. Disable 8.3 filename creation:
The NFTS file system is set to automatically create a "short filename" for any file considered a "long filename" in Windows. This is done so files are compatible with old 16bit legacy applications. Microsoft admits the creation of 8.3 filenames can degrade your file system performance. To disable 8.3 filenames for future files you will need to open "regedit" and navigate to: "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SYSTEM\ CurrentControlSet\ Control\ FileSystem" and find the DWORD "NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation" and set its value to 1.
To disable 8.3 filenames for existing files you will need to open a command prompt and type "fsutil.exe behavior set disable8dot3 1". Source: Microsoft.

9. Stop ehtray.exe:
When you use Windows Media Center in Vista for the first time it will automatically add a background process to startup called "ehtray.exe". This startup entry cannot be simply unticked in msconfig or deleted and expected to never appear again. Once you start Media Center again it will create a duplicate entry regardless if the existing entry has been disabled or deleted. "ehtray.exe" is supposed to be a tray icon process for easy access to the "Digital Media Manager". This process is completely useless to me and uses memory. To prevent ehtray from running you can rename the file itself or delete it all together, which will not hamper Media Center functionality. In order to rename or delete this system file you must first take ownership and full control buy simply adding this context menu extension. The file is found under the C:\Windows\ehome directory. Simply rename it to ehtray.old or delete it after taking ownership. Source.

10. Enable Direct Read and Write Cache:
By default Vista will write data to disk and then store the data in cache for better performance. You can change this behavior for even better performance by allowing your hard disk to skip writing data directly to your hard drive and rather just throw the data straight into cache. This will result in even better performance but there is a small risk. If your power goes out suddenly you will lose the data that had been written to cache and since the data has not been written to disk you may end up with lost files or even a corrupted Vista installation depending on what kind of data the hard disk had in cache. If you have a UPS then it should be perfectly safe to enable this setting. I do not have a UPS but the risk isn't big enough to me, so I enable this setting. To do so, simply go into device manager, look under your hard drive properties, click the policy tab, and tick "Enable advanced performance".

11. Change your DNS servers:
Right now, your probably using your ISP's DNS servers to translate web addresses, which in most cases are slow. OpenDNS claims to have high speed DNS servers which in most cases are much more responsive than your ISP's servers. Try it out and see if you notice an improvement.

12. Adjust your Page File:
The Page File is virtual memory stored on your hard disk and is constantly in use regardless of how much RAM you have. Disabling it is not a good idea unless you have 3-4GB of RAM in which case you can experiment. If you have two hard drives you can store the Page File on a separate disk away from your Windows installation which will improve performance. If your second drive is slower than the root drive then I would recommend keeping your Page File on the root drive. It is important to set your Page File large enough and make it a fixed size to prevent it from expanding which can cause performance loss. So it is important to set the "initial" and "maximum" size of the Page File the same and allow yourself to have more than enough room for paging.
RAM Initial and max size of Page File
512MB: You shouldn't be running Vista
1GB: 2048-2048mb
2GB: 1024-1024mb
3-4GB: 512-512mb or none if you want to experiment
You can resize the Page File as necessary. It doesn't matter how large it is. The only downside of a larger Page File is less disk space. Just be sure to keep it at a large fixed size.

13. Improve general explorer performance:
This one is pretty self explanatory. Go into your root drive, click organize, point to layout, and untick the "Details Pane". The details pane seems to really slow down window responsiveness. Under the organize button click "Folder and Search Options". Under the "View" tab untick "Display file size information in folder tips" and "Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items". Then click "Apply to all folders" at the top of the Folder Option window to get rid of the Details pane on all folders.

14. Make various menu's in Vista appear faster:
This was a popular tweak in XP to do away with the slow start-menu delay. Since Vista has a different start-menu this tweak would no longer apply to it but it still works on other various menu's in Vista that otherwise have a long delay when pausing over them. Open regedit and navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop. Change the "MenuShowDelay" string to a value of "20". You can set it as low as you want but I find "20" to be a good value.

15. Services:
Personal preferences will dictate which you should consider disabling. This has already been touched upon above in the main writeup. There are various guides out there you can refer to in order to decide which services you can disable. I would recommend reading over all of them you can find for each service. Some guides have different idea's and better information than others. So it is important to come to a conclusion based on multiple opinions and suggestions. I would like to point out just a few things and leave the rest up to dedicated guides.
Automatic services you should set to Manual:
-Background Intelligent Transfer Service
-Cryptographic Services
-Security Center. If you want Security Center to continue bothering you then leave it on automatic.
-Windows Update. Do it only if you dont want to take advantage of automatic updates.
-If you don't use a printer then disable the "Print Spooler" service.
-If your not running a Tablet PC then disable the "Tablet PC Input" service.
-If you don't connect cameras, webcams, or scanners to your PC then disable the "Windows Image Acquisition" Service.

Windows Vista Tweaking Software List

1. At last I'll advise to defrag the HDD regularly, install only necessary software, use the latest drivers and keep your Windows updated. 6. Defragment your System Disk & Fine Tune your Registry. If you find the Vista's in-built defragger slow, you can try freeware Auslogics Disk Defrag which works on Vista too ! Use the freeware CCleaner to clear up your PC Junk and clean up the Registry. Compacting the Registry occasionally is a good idea too !

2. Generally people also recommend emptying the Prefetch directory once in a while. But Windows uses this directory to speed up launching applications. It analyzes the files you use during startup and the applications you launch, and it creates an index to where those files and applications are located on your hard disk. Using this index, Windows can launch files and applications faster. Utilities like CCleaner too have an option to clear the prefetcher. Should you choose to use this option of 'clearing prefetcher', be ready to run an 'un-optimized' windows for a little while. The Prefetcher is best left alone ! In any case, Windows cleans it at 128 entries down to the 32 most used application's prefetch files.
