3.How long have you been creative?

T.A: Honestly ever since i can remember.. when my dad use to sit me down with him to draw for hours.

4.Who inspires you? Is there anything else you grab your inspiration from?

T.A: Many people have at some point or still continue to inspire me like close friends and family, people who believe in me. I also take a lot of inspiration from nature/my surroundings and music.

5.Do you have a specific method to your creativity?

T.A: Not really I just go with the flow of my mood

6.What's your favorite color? (I ask this to associate it with your talent)

T.A: Green!! :)

7.How would you define your creative style in art, design & modeling?

T.A: I would say its very realistic, detailed, girly when necessary but with a punk/80s style.

8.What's your biggest motivation?

T.A: Music hands down! I always listen to music when working on anything.

9.Where do you see yourself in 10 years? What's your purpose?

T.A: I would love to have either my own store and fashion line or to possibly be a part of Fashion week. My purpose is to create clothing for all types of people to feel comfortable, have confidence and be themselves in.

10.What's 5 things most people don't know about you?

T.A:

I actually enjoy doing those online quizzes like, "what color are you?" or "which movie are you most like?" type of quizzes.
Before I decided on fashion I wanted to be a vet and specialize in dogs.
I hate people that think they are better then others, that?s like my only pet peeve.
I sometimes get random shocks of motivation where I just have to get something done even if there?s nothing for me to do, like clean my room at 2am or draw/ work on HW etc.
I'm very open to weird combinations of foods like french fries dipped in honey or ice cream, oreos with peanut butter, pizza with orange juice etc.. lol

11. If you decided to ever drop fashion design, modeling or art what would be your plan b?

To be honest I can't see myself doing anything that?s not art related in some way or another. I'm a very hands on person.

Talisa Almonte is definitely new talent to keep a close watch on. At an early stage I can already see her blossoming into something phenomenal. As stated before Talisa's favorite color is green and is closely related to the Old English verb growan ha "to grow" . Which will explain why she's growing talent, green oozes all throughout Talisa's work. It's on a constant grow ...green means go lol so don't stop Talisa! I'm definitely a fan of her work its spunky, modern and fantastic. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us in the future .
