Listing Admin, Pumpin'!, KIM Admin

Before I go into my anal retentive ways -- which is probably going to be feature on any blog I own till the end of time -- I just want to say a huge, massive thank you to everybody who has supported me with my « last entry (and in your minds, if you're anything like me and you're as shy as a turtle!). Your support has meant the absolute world to me, and each comment left me with the most giddy (and creepy; I'm a creepy person) smile. I know Listing Admin is like... the script version of Teen Wolf, and it's does horrible things to your feelings, and all you want to do is quit it, but you can't, and you're lazy, and oh no wait, that's me. But whatevs, it still feels like I'm all those Olympians, out there winning (script-)medals of all colours and generally being a good person, even though I'm not.

Pumpin'! has a new layout! Like, three weeks ago or whatever, I kind of forgot. I don't really remember a lot of things that aren't muscles and manga, but I like this layout, because it's creatively the best thing I've made in two years (note: this is a terrible thing, shame on you for disagreeing with me!).

Listing Admin has also seen two bugfixes, the most recent one just being released fifteen minutes ago. Of course, the download link is the same as usual, and you need a member status and to be logged in to download it. Speaking of downloading! I've seen this thing quite a bit over the past three lifetimes I've left people hanging few months, and the thing that I'm kind of evading like I evade discussions of being a real adult: not registering at Pumpin'! but somehow getting a copy of Listing Admin. Don't do that, dudes; I know, I'm really shy, to the point that it hinders me and it's kind of a medical condition, who knows, but that's not cool. I know it's frustrating to have to jump through two loops and points C and F to get back to point A, but it's not hard, and if you don't want to register, I can always sent it via e-mail. Please don't get it from other sources, as they might not have the latest version. It's for your script protection, like the MIB! KIM Admin 1.2 is being released later this week; this may or may not be related to what I just said.

This latest LA bugfix will also be the last, and the next release of Listing Admin will be version 2.4, because I'm a little shit when it comes to being consistent. If anybody has any feature suggestions, or something they want to see more of, shout it out loud!

Pumpin'!, Listing Admin

Another day in the life of being a terrible script creator (and script hoarder, but whatevs): the Scripts and Articles pages have been revamped, with most of their content moved around in a fit of my OCD. Also, it was overdue, and now I can be a nerd with all my scripts categorised. :D

It took me a long time to come up with a way to say, "OH HAI I HATE MY OWN SCRIPT, LET'S PRETEND THIS DIDN'T HAPPEN", but I've often played around with the idea of letting Listing Admin go (of course, this would be with support + bugfixes). It's quickly spiraled from something fun and hip (for me, as a nerd, to create, to manage, and to code) to something morbid that I put off for ages, because I didn't want to deal with it. While it's made me feel all gooey and fluffy inside to know I've made people happy, the process of managing Listing Admin for other people is no longer making me happy.

I never thought I'd feel that way about something I created with my own two hands (figuratively, anyway!), something that means the absolute world to me, and I hate that. I hate that feeling, I hate it so much, because once my toe has been stepped into something, I'm there for life and I'm not backing the fuck down. It took me ages to to come up with a solution to something that I felt was hopeless, because I was feeling so despondent of Listing Admin, who still is and always will be my baby. It was only until recently (AKA THIS WEEK) that I entertained the idea of putting Listing Admin back under the 'member' status again, so it's not available to everyone who registers.

So, hello 2012, year of hopefully better things: Listing Admin is back to only being available to those with a 'member' status. If you're using Listing Admin and have a 'reader' status, you can comment on this post and I'll change it over in a jiffy. Any new registers from tonight, 8PM EST forward will be upgraded at my discretion, and with a very loud disclaimer of "IF YOU DOWNLOAD, YOU WILL CRY. TEARS OF BLOOD.".

Still in Listing Admin's corner, I'm listing some key things below for you guys before I release a bugfix this weekend. I posted some of these things to Pumpin'!'s Twitter » (which I update rarely, but it's still worth it to follow if you want to see me bumble after myself all the time), but some are new. Try them before e-mailing/commenting, and if they don't work, I'll send you over a quick bugfix via e-mail. :D

And before I run down a lit of million and one files -- and because I didn't mention it before -- a huge shoutout to Mayumi » and Saya », who were instrumental in getting Listing Admin 2.3 Alpha up and running. They were -- unintentionally, I might add! -- the best fucking beta testers for Listing Admin 2.3 Beta, and I owe them my first born sons, because they rock so fucking much. Hella: HELLA.

For those of you experiencing MySQL errors (usually with some form of "Mysqli" and "error" mixed in there), open the rats.inc.php file, and change $_ST['dbengine'] from 'mysqli' to 'mysql'.
The install and upgrade folders are no longer valid with Listing Admin 2.3 Alpha, and have been replaced with install.php and upgrade.php. If you're upgrading and haven't run the file, get on that hard.
The convert folder is also deprecated via the newest release, and has been relocated under the options.php page, where you can go to "Import/Export". It now has support for BellaBuffs, even!

If you're still experiencing errors and need them fixed ASAP -- especially if you're avoiding the Troubles lists at TFL and TAFL -- shoot me an e-mail, and I'll get back on the fly.

Listing Admin 2.3 Alpha Live!

I like to think of Listing Admin 2.2 as a mix between Windows Vista and LJ 2011: a really, really shitty version to a kind-of already shitty service. 2.3 was conceived in October 2010, but due to personal, family and financial issues and problems, I was unable to work on it as much as I'd have liked, or released it when I wanted to --

But whatever, fuck that, 2.3 is here, and everyone can crosslist their shit. IT'S ALL GOOD.

Just go on to the Downloads page, and if registered, it'll be open for grabs for all users; make sure to replace all files in your admin panel with all the files in the .zip file, and edit rats.inc.php. It fixes a lot of things I won't list out of sheer laziness, but crosslisting, converting to and from scripts, and upgrading from 2.1.9, 2.2, and 2.3 Beta are the key features. Check out the « Documentation tomorrow for a full changelog on 2.2 to 2.3.

Note: For those of you waiting/have been waiting on an e-mail from me -- expect one sometime tomorrow when caffeine is a little more on the brain!

Listing Admin Conversion

I've – finally! after 4848494894949 years! after we've all gone and died of old age! – wrote up a quick script for Listing Admin 2.2, so users can convert to and from Listing Admin member lists! :D It's got functioning like the the current converting-to Enthusiast and phpFanBase files that are currently installed, however it a) includes BellaBuffs and Listing Admin and b) you can convert to all four of those scripts.

Just head over to the Downloads » page and download the file (while logged in, of course)! ♥

Note: Keep in mind favourite fields are currently not included in the files; I'll be updating the file this Monday to include favourite fields.

ETA (10/10/2011): Uploaded the .zip file to include favourite fields for importing and exporting, as well as a bug for exporting Enthusiast members; if you exported a Enthusiast members list, download the file again, loves! ♥

This is just a quick fly-by note of "new location, same old terrible website!" kind of... entry.

So, new location! I wasn't able to renew the domain, so I moved it on over to Wyngs with a new layout I was planning. Errors, there will be those, and probably lots of them - I'm totally on it, but everything should be in working order in concerns to browsing and downloading scripts. :D

More news on Listing Admin, new scripts, old scripts and oldoldold articles coming soon! /smooches

Listing Admin: Member Security Fix

One day – one day! – I will post an entry that isn't 3839383939 days from the last update, and isn't about Listing Admin. Like, at all. Just watch me.

I've been working on Listing Admin 2.3 steadfastly for the past seven months; I know I've pulled a ton of excuses out, but I promise you: I'm working on it. I've been going through a lot in my real life, and I just haven't had the time to devote to it as much as I like. Also, I blame written porn for... being written. And being there at all, really.

I've uploaded 2.3 Beta (which is not currently for download) to my two fanlisting collectives, so the development of the 2.3 release is about 75% complete. I was testing the forms when I came across an update form bug that doesn't encrypt the member's password into the database. I strongly and enthusiastically urge you to download « the fix (make sure you're logged in!), and to urge members who've updated their information to reset their passwords and then update their passwords again. I also want to apologise for taking this long with realising this bug, and for causing a lot of fits with the forms!

While we're on the subject of bugs: several users of Listing Admin have noticed errors in the comments, downloads and contact forms, and all of these issues should be fixed. I know Pumpin'! is a mess right now, but within the next week or so, this should all clear up! :D

Listing Admin: Bugfix + Note

I wanted to let everyone who's using Listing Admin to know that I released a bugfix of version 2.2 – this is not a new release, but some minor bugs that include (but isn't limited to):

The bugfix that prompted this entry that erased a user's password. If you haven't downloaded the fix yet, now is the opportunity. ;)
Affiliate conversion that kept collective affiliates from being added!
Favourite field conversion! This was actually fixed in 2.2, but I thought I'd mention it to those who may have not overwrote the file. :D
Some little minor changes here and there (i.e.: I forgot, but it's important enough to include).

The 2.2 .zip file has been updated, and a bugfix .zip for current users is also available.

As a note, I'd like to thank Martina for finding the solution to a problem that was plaguing some users! If you were unable to add affiliates to any of your listings, simply run the upgrade file for 2.1.9 to 2.2 – it came with the .zip file, but you are more than free to re-download the .zip for it.

(This should also tell you that a) I'm spastic, and without Martina, it probably would've gone forever unsolved and b) I really need to use .txt files. Yay me! :P)

The bugfix that prompted « this entry that erased a user's password.

As a note, I'd like to thank Martina » for finding the solution to a problem that was plaguing some users!

Yay me! :P)

Listing Admin: Important Bugfix

Thanks to Evey (and subsequently her friend), a bugfix was just found concerning updating the main options on the Options page of Listing Admin. If you edit (and only edit the main Options page, not including the sub-options), your password will be erased, and make an empty password your password to logging into Listing Admin.

I've already updated the .zip of Listing Admin to fix the bug and you can also download the options page .zip (to avoid downloading (and shuffling through)the endless amounts of files in the .zip) at my fanlisting collective to make it easier.

I strongly recommend you download the bugfix. *nod*

Call for Beta Testers (and a Tiny-Little-Note)!

I changed the date from July 1st to August 15th for Media Admin. Decided to go ahead and jump the boat on that one! It basically boils down to Amazon's API giving me fits (read: being the biggest douche a brainless object can possibly be), and I now have to backtrack to square one again and start over. I doubt I'll take a month and a half to complete everything – I'm just giving myself time in a worst-case scenario kind of situation. :D

ETA: The register URL error has been fixed – muchas gracias to Petyr for the heads up! :D

Next: I'm calling for beta testers to test Listing Admin 2.3, so I can drag the script out of beta mode. I'm looking for around ten people, but the more I can get, the better! The beta testing will be from July 7th to July 28th, and an admin panel will be provided (think Oh!No) for bug reports and feature suggestions.

You can go to this sign-up form to sign up for being a beta tester; make sure you read the rules thoroughly (at least before committing to it) – everything will be explained there. :D You can also use the form to sign-up to provide feature suggestions, just make sure to explain in the comments field.

Listing Admin 2.2

I'm working on... OK, fine, I'm tired. Absolutely exhausted, but I did get up Listing Admin this weekend! That's something, right? As I'm terrible with deadlines, I consider this a step up!

Since I am tired, I'll give you a quick rundown:

New design for Listing Admin! It looks like an ate-too-much vintage-turning-modern dinosaur, you've been farewarned.
I meant "crosslisting affiliates" as in "crosslisting affiliates from enthusiast", so... I kind of just threw both in there. (The crosslisting affiliates together was actually in the original draft of Listing Admin, have no idea why I took it out!)
Bugfixes taken care of, including converting favourite fields, affiliates and CodeSort. Overwrite all the files (including the convert files), it's that simple.
"Newest Members" now added to listing statistics, simply add {newest}.
"Password hint" now added for those who forgot their password – please use this wisely. Don't forget your password every time your cookie expires, this is a worst case scenario type thing, nothing concrete.
Favourite fields! And they update each member for the listing, so that the favourite fields aren't left in the database. :D Spiffy!

...and yeah, that's about it. I wanted to pack in more features, but I didn't have the time, so I'll save that 2.2.1! Documentation will also be updated tomorrow, and overwrite every file besides rats.inc.php.

Listing Admin: Live Bugfix List

I figured, since this kind of thing was originally a hit, I'd up a live bugfix list for the weekend, so others can report the bugfixes not currently listed over the weekend in time for June 11th, the release of Listing Admin 2.2! (...IT'S EXCITING TO ME!)

Most of these errors were reported by the lovely Jessica and Martina (my fellow developers! Soooo-ooo-oo crazy cool!), and the mountains of e-mails I have (rather guiltily) not answered. I'm a bit on the sleepy side, so if I missed anything, feel free to smack me around. :D

Affiliates

FEATURE SUGGESTION: Crosslisting affiliates! Thoughts, opinions, complaints?
Deleting an affiliate is impossible by way of an cleanUpt() error.

Joined

Editing a joined fanlisting not working by way of the error above.

Members

Adding favourite fields not working from the cleanUpt() error.

Conversion Files

Whole collective is still not converting from CodeSort.
Single quotations (') can't be inserted when converting affiliates.
Favourite fields are disaligned when converting members from Enthusiast.

You need only to comment on this blog with a bugfix that isn't listed – and feature suggestions are more than welcome!

Listing Admin Bugfix and a Couple of Reminders

After receiving some bug reports, contact forms and comments on the latest version (2.1.9!), I have to address the issue that's been bothering for the past couple of days: pure, unadulterated rudeness. There is simply no other way to put it, and I've really had enough of it.

I understand Listing Admin is very...erm, shall we say beta? I released it knowing there would be issues galore, but I want everyone to keep in mind that I am the only one testing it – nobody else, this is a one man (woman?) operation. I know it's frustrating, but bear in mind that you're talking to me, the script creator. I have feelings, too, and having them stomped on doesn't solve your issues. I don't mind the occasional shout (yes, Christina , I am talking about you), or even the 10+ comments telling me I'm wrong (you know who you are ) – but being downright nasty is uncalled for. I just want everyone to remember that things might be misconstrued, being over the Internet, and to keep others feelings in mind! *hugs all around*

I'd also like to pimp the Listing Admin documentation; this has everything you need for installing and customising, and should (...very tentative word) answer your questions.

No that that's out of the way: a (partially) large bugfix has been released, but the version has not changed. Many, many thanks to Courtney , Holly and Haley for the bug reports (and to Haley for some suggestions!), and of course Mayumi for beta testing the Listings page for me!

Listing Admin 2.1.9 (And a Couple of Sidenotes)

I'd like to take this long awaited moment – is your breath bated? – to remind everyone of two things: first off, you must be registered to download Collective Admin and Listing Admin. I have repeated this fact time and again, and it says something (i.e. you're not reading any of the posts fully) if this escaped your notice. :P The second, probably less important part is all comments are held in moderation before I approve them - there is no need to post five comments back to back and e-mail me; I get all of them, so have no fear, I am in fact reading your forms!

Just thought I'd clear those two things up - I don't think I mentioned the latter, so that was probably my fault, and I haven't been responding as diligently as I have been before, so I apologise if I seem to be ignoring you - I'm not!

Soooo-ooo-oo: Listing Admin 2.1.9 has been released. I apologise sincerely for the almost two weeks of tardiness. Some of the features ending up being more hectic than I originally thought they'd be, and my internet died unexpectedly last week, but nonetheless, it's here!

The main feature, of course, is crosslisting to another database. It can currently connect to a different database, and if chosen, select members from an Enthusiast or phpFanBase table. Nifty! Tons and tons of bugfixes have also been implemented in this version, and I sincerely thank Donna , Melissa , Saya and Willow for the bugfix reports and suggestions, as well as that sassy lover of mine for bugging me to finally, you know, crosslist. It's very beta, so I have plans to release a another version soon.

Special note: For the users who have installed Listing Admin prior to 2.1.9, please be aware you must not login before you upgrade, as it won't wok. You can view full details of the bugfixes/implementations at the documentation!

ETA: I took out a function in Listing Admin at about midnight last night (or today?) that's giving those with hypens in their domain names an error. Many, many, many thanks to Stacey for letting me know (and Mayumi for telling me on MSN, as I'm horrible, and did not re-check the boards last night.)

As a finishing note, Collective Admin has also been updated to include bok.inc.php (the file that calls the path to your admin files); muchas gracias to Saya for pointing this out (and therefore proving what an idiot I am!).

Collective Admin and Other Things

I released Collective Admin last night, but was kind of in a zen-type mode, so I feared for my person - or just me sounding somewhat coherent - so I waited until today to actually say "hey...I released it!". So there you have it. You have to be registered to download it, but you only need a reader status - this is applied automatically when you register, so have no fear, you need not worry about this - or member status to download it. Collective Admin is probably chalk full of bugs, so don't hesitate to smack me a time or two.

I am also: receiving your bug reports and thank you - because I'd probably be a pile of goo without you lovelies!

Pumpin'!: New and Improved!

Although I posted it up on the 1st, some may or may not have noticed Pumpin'! has received a new make-over; sooo-ooo-oo, hello new makeover! I had some fits with it, because I wasn't quite sure this was the way to go, but overall I'm satisfied enough to put it up (and hey-ho, it's actually easier to get around with it!). I've cut the entry, as this is quite a ramble; I'd recommend reading it only for the benefit of reading "ICON ADMIN RELEASED HAR HAR", and it's fellow disclaimer.

Of course, if there are any errors you encounter, feel more than free to let me know if that's your wish!

Listing Admin Now Available (Somewhat)!

A few might have noticed that on the 1st, Listing Admin indeed did not come up for download to users with a reader status. This was not me forgetting, simply taking a break from whole venture of Listing Admin. Admittedly, a part of me wanted to give up entirely, but I decided that for the sake of of the very few that are interested (and myself, of course), I'd release it and continue production on Listing Admin. I know, I'm so incognito with my deep feelings.

So...ta-da! It's released! Let's pretend this is the first or something! Of course, you have to register to download it, but it's available. A few bugs have been fixed as well, so the .zip has been updated. The regular release will be released on the 18th. The readme files are no longer included in the .zip file, and have been relocated at the proper documentation.

Also: added a reset password form to the login page here at Pumpin'!, so if you've forgotten it, there you go, a form!

Listing Admin 2.1.6

I know it's two days late, but as I have stated in this entry, I have had some computer issues, and a bit of the sharing problem with the computer; apologies to anybody desperately wanting this bugfix! :O

Fixes a lot of issues, such as the pagination error in show-updates.php, comments display and show-reset.php. Some low-key ones are the affiliates page and show-join.php.
Listings can now be edited easier and more efficiently! Templates are also explained, so no more "guess the variable!" games.
Affiliates can now be searched by e-mail, subject or URL - this was a definite feature, as searching affiliates can be a bit of a pain.
Favourite field added to the members, with the shiny new members template (implemented in 2.1.4).
And so on! The changelog.txt file is perfect.

Head over to the downloads page to grab up a whole .zip, or an upgrade .zip. I'd also like to announce that starting next Friday, the 30th, updates will be posted every two weeks. (And some modifications have been added, yay!)

Pause on Upgrades

Due to several viruses infecting my only computer (which I am blaming McAfee for, as the damn program hasn't even detected, much less fixed, the viruses!), there is a hiatus on any upgrades to Listing Admin, and any updates to the site in general. Unfortunately, neither I nor my parents have the money to fix it right now, so it could be several weeks - if not months! - before I can update anything.

I am available through e-mail, but I'm not taking any chances, so therefore I recommend commenting instead of e-mailing me.

SPAM, Demos and Documentation

I've been getting a ton a SPAM comments, so I've set up a CAPTCHA and math problem for all comment forms (for entries and pages). It's not something I wanted to do, and is something I'm quite dreading hearing about, but CAPTCHA has proven time and again to slow down SPAM for me, so it's staying until I can think of some better filters. I've tested an entry and page form, but if you have any problems, I'm a contact form, e-mail or comment away!

Oh, and yes! I've been working tirelessly to set up a demo of Listing Admin, and here it is! The listing portion isn't up, but the collective and admin panel is there; feel more than free to play around to your liking! You can also visit the demo index (you'll see KIM Admin nestled in there tight).

I've also been working on the documentation , and Listing Admin's is almost completed. Go look, it's information packed. (KIM Admin is coming soon, I promise!)

Listing Admin 2.1.5 is here! It's a simple bugfix, but quite required if you want anti-spam to work, your codes not randomly disappearing, a nifty search function for updates, and notifications on the index page (as well as the whole version thing). :D

Hit the downloads , yo, and have fun!

ETA: If the version notification is still appearing, even after replacing the rats.inc.php file, and you're using MagpieRSS, please allow the feed to cache; I deleted the cached file on my server from an earlier time, and when I refreshed, it re-cached, and the notification went away.

Listing Admin 2.1.4

If you have been stalking the downloads page, you'll have noticed Listing Admin 2.1.4 (with updates and members templates!) was just put up.

Before I continue and shout "GO!": it's not a complete upgrade, as I have ran out of time. Have no fear! The rest of the materials (comments page, comments notification, display codes and documentation) will be up tomorrow, and this entry will be edited when I have done so. Also, no upgrade .zip has been uploaded, because this version is such a big upgrade. As rats.inc.php is edited, simply download the entire .zip file.

So, GO!, because you can still post updates, convert them from FanUpdate and display them!

ETA: The .zip file of 2.1.4 has been re-uploaded due to a install error.

ETA 2: The FULL .zip file of 2.1.4 has been added, and as well as the documentation for Listing Admin . Yaay!

ETA 3: Updated the .zip file to fix the simplexml_load_file() error - be sure to upload the .inc files (all start with fetch_) and the /extlib/ folder in the /admin/ folder. RE-UPLOAD the rats.inc.php and index.php files - this is important!

Listing Admin 2.1.3

Listing Admin 2.1.3 released! It's a very light upgrade .zip (so much so, it's amazing I even released it); I had plans to include the updates feature a la FanUpdate, but it's taken my longer than I realised, so it's being included in next week's upgrade. Be sure to hit the downloads page!

Speaking up next week's upgrade! The following are upcoming features, which is the biggest upgrade yet:

Updates
Updates that are very much like FanUpdate, except no timezone options, the ability to post in Whole Collective and tentative pretty URLs (much like WordPress); so, FanUpdate meets my own CMS. Another thing is, of course, comments and cross-posting to Dreamwidth, InsaneJournal and LiveJournal.
Members Templates
Already done, simply needs to be included with show-members.php.
Conversion Files
Including affiliates from Enthusiast, BellaBuffs affiliates, codes and members and anything else I can write up.
Anti-SPAM Addon
I've been writing this forever, so hopefully it can be included as well. Features for this include a math problem, a points system for join forms (and comments for Updates), forced JavaScript and a couple of random and weird checks.

Of course, if you have anything to suggest or report, let me know! :D

Listing Admin 2.1.2

Listing Admin 2.1.2 released! The following features are in this edition:

Subcategories, and the full use for them. You can add subcategories and apply them to Listings, Joined and your Wishlist. These will (by default) NOT be displayed in the show_joined.php and show_owned.php files (but can be). Subcategories will only be displayed under their parent if there is listings/joined listed under them. Beside each parent category, the count for listings/joined in both the parent category and subcategories will be listed (so no more 0's!).
Little bugfix with kim.php.

That's it! If you have any feature suggestions/bug reports, be sure to comment here or at Listing Admin's page.

Be sure before you download the .zip file for the 2.1.2 bugfix that you download the 2.1.1 bugfix if you have not done so - this is important, because not all files are in the latest bugfix .zip. Of course, you can always download the full .zip file and ignore the rats.inc.php file. Now hit the Downloads page!

ETA: A bugfix of KIM Admin 1.1 has been released for users using PHP 4. I know I said I wouldn't support this, but it's a simple fix, and some users can't help this. You can download this on the downloads page.

That's it! If you have any feature suggestions/bug reports, be sure to comment here or at » Listing Admin's page.

Be sure before you download the .zip file for the 2.1.2 bugfix that you download the 2.1.1 bugfix if you have not done so – this is important, because not all files are in the latest bugfix .zip. Of course, you can always download the full .zip file and ignore the <samp>rats.inc.php</samp> file. » Now hit the Downloads page!

ETA: A bugfix of KIM Admin 1.1 has been released for users using PHP 4. You can download this on the » downloads page.

Listing Admin 2.1.1

...is now released, finally! Before I go on with the download la-di-da stuff, the following features were not implemented in this version:

Display of subcategories. You can add them and and they are displayed in categories.php, but as for show_joined.php and show_owned.php and other necessary files, they will be rather...er, shall we say messed up? Of course, this will be one of the biggest features in the next bugfix release (Friday, the 11th).
FanUpdate conversion, because I am still deciding. It would be rather big and bulky, trying to implement FanUpdate, but it's not completely out of the question, and I have some ideas.

...that is it, I am sure. I want to thank Christina, Donna and Yuuhi for reporting the bugs/features you did, because it meant a lot to me (and a lot of what was suggested would have been lost on me!). Now, head over to the Downloads to grab the .zip file! (Again, you must register and have a member status in order to download the script.)

On a unrelated note, watch out for some addons/mods coming your way soon! I have some things in store that a few visitors may like! :D

Bugfix Post-Poned and Note

The weekly bugfix for Listing Admin has been post-poned a day or two, as it was only released this past Tuesday - only two bugs were reported so far, so I'm going to give it a little bit to release the bugfix, which will probably be released tomorrow night, early Sunday morning. If you have found a bug in Listing Admin, or have any feature suggestions, do not hesitate to comment away!

Also, I'd like to make a small note to anybody who signs up: if I do not immediately, upon you registering, make you a member it's because a) I'm not aware of it yet or b) I don't recognise you. However, do not be afraid to ask for a status upgrade - 9 1/2 times out of 10, I'll make you a member without question. :) You can also request a status change via contact form, if that makes you feel more comfortable.

STFU T-Rex! Admin has been renamed to Listing Admin. I realised, rather belatedly if I do say so myself, that most people would think STFU stands for "shut the fuck up"; it does not and never has, but I figured I'd provide a more descriptive name, and give my own site it's own glory.

A FAQ has been set up over here - you can access the link by the sitemap on the About page.

Speaking of pages: as a final word, I realised users could not update their password correctly over at Lyone , and it appears that was an error over here as well. It is now fixed, and apologies for not seeing this sooner! If you're still having problems, simply comment and I'll check it out.

ETA: the Projects page is now up and running!

Several Bugfixes

First off: KIM Admin had an issue with the install.php file that has been fixed this morning. I recommend that anybody who has downloaded the .zip file re-download the file; of course, if you are only upgrading, this won't affect you. ;)

Second, Emma was ever so gracious as to point out an error in the register form, which has been fixed. I apologise to anybody who has tried to register in the past week!

Side Note: The secret script has been revealed: Listing Admin 2.0, my own fanlisting script. So, not so secret, but it will be released on September 1st, 2009 to users with the member status only; the script will be released on December 1st, 2009 to users with the reader status. To view your status, be sure to visit the user list and find out. (Quick note: I choose your status; if I know you, you will most likely be promoted to the member status.)

Yes, you see right - Pumpin'! is finally back, and better than ever. As promised, it's revamp, which a shiny new layout and, as promised, lots of new features!

So what are they? First off, you might notice there's a user system - or maybe not. Whether you have or not, I recommend (though it's not at all necessary) you register here at Pumpin'! in order to get those nice treats that were promised. Most of them are script related, of course, but everybody loves new shiny things, right? The second thing is a newly revamped Scripts section, that holds all of my own scripts, including addons/mods I've written. Check it out, it's nice. :D

Finally: KIM Admin 1.1 has been released, and any existing subscribers have been e-mailed. I highly recommend upgrading to the latest version, as there's several new features added, including a members templates (for show-members.php), and the ability to approve, update and delete multiple members. (As for the secret script, it's coming, I promise!)

It ("it" being the revamp of the Projects section) was mentioned a couple of months ago, though "a month" turned into three. Not my fault, I assure you. Procrastination came upon in the night and has consumed me for the better part of two and half months.

Or, in the other words, I was otherwise preoccupied. So, not only has the Projects section been revamped (it's 2.0 release was done in November 2008), but a new backend for Pumpin'! altogether. Yes, Pumpin'! is run by my shiny new "CMS" script (never mind it being completely hacked into)! :D With a RSS feed and public KIM script released, well, Pumpin'!, you look mighty fine there.

Finally, after what seems like three years (and was only 6 months), Pumpin'! has awakened from the dead and is now thriving. Not only that, but Pumpin'! has more or less an inspiration outlet for me. My PHP has taken off splendidly (as I have added several things to the backend of the script that I wanted to try out), but the markup overall is how I will doing my sites. I know the layout isn't anything amazing to look at, but I think it does rather nicely, considering. :D
