“I used an amazing technique called photocopier!” tease Rene Vaile, the photographer. Being always fascinated by everything that is black and white with a distressed feel, I obviously really like how this editorial has turned out, thanks to the above mentioned amazing technique. And also the super sleek styling by Mark Vassallo makes me drool. I especially love those sick Bordelle elastic stockings in the second shot from top, and the two leather jackets from Maticevski and Dion Lee.

It might be just a coincidence, but while I am obsessing over my new zebra jeans bought in Camden a few days ago, Interview magazine launches a freakin’ amazing editorial called “Wild Thing”, in which Punk goes primal with skater-boy silhouettes and “pretty vacant” attitude. Soo Joo Park is too damn good as badass rebel babe and she’s killing it in every single outfit.

I have discovered the brand through an amazing new website, #FASHTAGS, that selects and promotes the best and newest Made in Italy fashion talents and is also a digital platform for international buyers of multibrand stores, and I immediately had crash for it. Uniting the fine art of classic Italian tailoring with a creativity that reinterprets music subcultural movements such as punk, dark, gothic, glam and post-punk, Vendetta breeds clean lines and perfection through limited edition clothing pieces that come on strong and with a distinctive visual appeal, and experiments in a field of endless possibilities where the only leads are the love for tailoring and couture, and the idea of classic black revisited in a multitude of unconventional ways.

It’s Friday late afternoon, I’m getting ready to go out, and I’m lusting over this ”4-tier chastity choker” must-have-right-now ornate restraint. Hand-stiched harness chocker with layers of leather tier encrusted with crystal, chain, rings and clips strung throughout, this punk inspired piece by Falconiere, a luxury custom jewelry and accessories line founded by juniper Rose in NYC, has jumped straight to the top of my Object of Desire list. To be honest, there are a few pieces on their shop that I would be very happy to choose from at the moment, especially the “X-ray” necklace inspired by Punk legend Poly Styrene of X-Ray Spandex, which is high luxury sexyness indeed.
But as I don’t have any of these two beauties to choose from to wear to go out tonight, I’ll just need to search my jewelry box and find another choker that will suit my current mood.
