Adobe Creative Suite 5 Launched!

Adobe has announced its fifth major release of its Creative Suite product family. It kicks off at 11am (Eastern) or 8am (Pacific) last April 12, 2010.

Adobe Creative Suite 5 (Adobe CS5) is a collection of graphic design, video editing, and web development applications made by Adobe Systems. The collection consists of Adobes applications (e.g., Photoshop CS5, Acrobat, InDesign CS5, Illustrator CS5, Flash CS5), that are based on various technologies (e.g., PostScript, PDF, Flash). The highlights of the event was demonstrated by CS5 experts, the Adobe's webcast launch event can be watch here.

A Friend Indeed

Friends are special people.If you are a friend, it means you were chosen. You are not in someone's life by happenstance, or by accident of birth. You're in someone's life because he or she wants you there.Every friend is a gift from God. Treat each of your friends as the gift he or she is.

Friends are a pretty important part of most people's lives. Research shows that having quality relationships increases your likelihood of being happy - so it's good for your happiness to be a great friend and to have a group of close friends surrounding you too.

A best friend might be someone who's there to provide support when times are tough, or someone you can rely on to celebrate a special moment with you.
You might see them every day, once a year, or less. You might hardly see them at all but instead keep in touch via telephone, email, or online.

Friends might come and go in your life, they might make you laugh and cry, but most importantly of all they love you for who you are. It doesn't matter what a person looks like or what kind of clothes they wear, but it's what's on the inside that counts. It's the actions they take, no matter how big or small, to show you how much of a good friend they are, and being there for you no matter what,,even when, things are incredibly important!

That's a best Friend!!

"I was down and out and feeling so low". This was my feeling the day I consider this person a Best Friend. God intended an Youth Camp in Calamba, Laguna, three years ago, maybe because He has a best plan for me.Out of all close friends I have with, he is the only person who really exerts an effort just for me to jive into the said camp. This was a brief history of meeting my best friend.

Been through ups and down, thick and thin, but God gives us His word:

Semana Santa : The Last Week of Jesus' Life?

Semana Santa is the Spanish term for Holy Week, the week preceding Easter in the Catholic calendar. Semana Santa commemorates the last week of Jesus' life, beginning with His arrival in Jerusalem, celebrated on Palm Sunday, and culminating in His Resurrection on Easter Sunday. Spain and many other Catholic Spanish-speaking countries are known for their elaborate processions and celebrations during Semana Santa.

All through out these years, I always wondering why those people were celebrating this kind of holiday. What was it's purpose or what was it's benefits for those who pay attention for such... Maybe you were thinking that I don't believed in God, definitely you have been mistaken. Who really knows what happened in these day. Is it just for a while for us to remember what Jesus did? Does this people really knows the benefit of the cross? of the blood? of His death? of His resurrection?

Anyway what does Christian means? In our English 101, the suffix -ian means "a person belong to". Christ + ian = CHRISTIAN, so we came up to a word which means "a person belongs to Christ". I think this definition satisfies and needs no further explanation. In a larger sense, we are not referring to "getting religious", "joining a church" or even "believing and reciting correct creedal doctrines". The issue we address is "becoming a Christian." Christian is not a matter of external physical attachment to a social organization called a "church." Nor is becoming a Christian effected by mental assent to historical or theological principle of belief. Behavior modification and ritualistic repetition are not the essence of being a Christian. As you go on reading the following post, I prayed that some change in your heart and mind would occur because I believed real Christianity had find its way into your life.

Actually as a Christian, we should do a daily devotion that always reminds of what Jesus did at the cross of the Calvary, what's the sense of the crucifixion, and the benefits of the blood of Jesus that shed upon the cross. As a Christian you must know. If and only if you are a real Christian. Here is a video clip that preferably would make us to open our eyes, our mind, and our heart for us to see, to realize, and to have faith of what Semana Santa or Jesus' Passion want to implies in our lives.

Introduction : First Blog Entry

Anyway I think as time goes by, I'll learn and knew more about this. and I guess, this first entry will let me know somthing about such.

What is a Blog?

Blogging has become an essential phenomenon in the Internet world that I can’t but discuss it here. I have noticed that as popular as Blog or Blogging is, quite a lot of people are still puzzled about it.

Blogging was first started in the late 90s and in recent times, blogs have been springing up all over the Internet. The high flexibility and dynamic nature of blogs have given rise to the current high level of patronage that blogs now enjoy; it’s like every other website is a blog or includes a blog. With so many blogs out there, I’m sure at this point the question in your mind would be “What is a blog or blogging?”

A blog (short for weblog) is a personal online journal that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. Blogs are defined by their format: a series of entries posted to a single page in reverse-chronological order.Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or reflect the purpose of the Web site that hosts the blog. Topics sometimes include brief philosophical musings, commentary on Internet and other social issues, and links to other sites the author favors, especially those that support a point being made on a post. The author of a blog is often referred to as a blogger.

A weblog, sometimes written as web log or Weblog, is a Web site that consists of a series of entries arranged in reverse chronological order, often updated on frequently with new information about particular topics. The information can be written by the site owner, gleaned from other Web sites or other sources, or contributed by users.

Blogs are Internet-based journals. These journals are different from traditional journals in several ways.

First, blogs are public. Others are invited to look at the blogger's thoughts and opinions on a regular basis. A teacher may discuss the planning and execution of a particular lesson on her blog. She records the steps involved and the choices of materials and strategies on a regular basis. Readers of the blog may follow the development of the lesson as it takes place. The readers will wait with some suspense to see if the lesson was a success.

Blogs are hyperactive. This means that blogs can link to other Web sites. If a blogger has read an article on the Internet that he thinks others should read, the blogger can make a comment on the article and link readers directly to it. This allows the blogger and readers to have access to the same materials on the Internet and enter into a discussion about them.

Blogs are interactive. As the lesson plan is being developed readers are also allowed to make comments. The teacher/blogger may post a decision to introduce material using a small group activity. The readers now switch roles and become participants. They can post comments offering support or suggesting alternative ways to handle the same material. Bloggers place their ideas out in public for the world to see and react to.

Because blogs are like diaries or journals they are organized according to time. The most recent postings are at the top of the page. Often postings refer to an earlier discussion that may be found by scrolling down or following a link to an archive. Adding a new posting to a blog is easily accomplished with the use of specialized software programs for maintaining blogs. Blogs often list links to other blogs. If you like a particular blog you might be interested in following the links which that blogger finds helpful.

Blogs are not just about education. There are blogs on so many subjects that it is almost impossible to keep up with them. Here you can sort blogs by geographic area or by subject matter, and you can also search by topic by location, or for blogs with recent postings.
