We learnt that throwing ice cream at your sister was “wrong” and that leaving marbles on the stairs for people to trip over was well, downright dangerous.

Instead of making our own laughter, we learnt control and we modeled those around us.

As we learnt, we learned more to “conform” to society and to “fit in” with others.. We leaned that our first crush at school was never going to marry us, and that babies were not delivered out of the sky by a giant stork.

Our schools taught us not only the education of the text book, but the education of conformity, those who “ducked” it were looked on as weirdo’s, and those who excelled at conforming, were looked on as heroes.

Learning how to be free never entered our minds and hearts as we already thought
we were free, living the dream, but this was the dream of someone else.

We also started to build up this catalogue. A mental catalogue of memories. Broken
hearts and broken dreams. We learned that we can’t have everything we wanted and that it was just too “ridiculous” to even try.

Best to get a job, do your time just like everyone else and live this idea of a happy life. Is there a better way?..

How To Be Free – Let Go And Start Living

I think so. In the words of Allan Watts,

“If money were no object, what would you do?”… If you say that getting the money is the most important thing, you will spend your life completely wasting your time. You’ll be doing things you don’t like doing in order to go on living, that is to go on doing things you don’t like doing”.

“This is stupid. It’s better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing than to have a long life, spent in a miserable way”.

Letting go, perhaps is one of the hardest things a human being can do. Some memories are so painful, they haunt us forever. However, by letting go of our past, we can often begin to rebuild our future.

If you really want to know how to be free, the first way is to let go of the past, and realise that we got where we are today, by the things that WE did, by thinking the thoughts that WE thought.

Yes, there were outside influences. Maybe an abusive partner, a negative spouse, limited funds., etc, etc. However these were all outside influences that we let shape our life up until this stage.

We are the instigators of our own destiny. Everything we think and do, every decision we make, is shaping our future.

How To Be Free – “It’s Not What Happens To You, But How You React To It That Matters”

How to be free in an unfree world? The first step is to stop blaming yourself for whatever has gone wrong in your life. you are human, not a machine. We humans have faults, it’s impossible for people to live their lives and not screw up now and again.

How To Be Free – It’s Time To Forgive Yourself

Stop beating yourself up over something, you can no longer change. Whatever happened, happened. Now is the time to move on and let go. Secondly, think about how life could be, if money were no object. What would you do ?

Because it makes no sense to spend each day things you don’t want to do. If you hate your job, get one that you could love. If you hate your business, change it to one that inspires you.

Believe me. Life is short and many people go to their grave with regrets. Just before death is not the time to want to change things. You can change in a heartbeat, you can change in an instant. Things will change, the moment you DECIDE.

Think about it. you are a long time dead. Live your life with PASSION. Make each day an exiting journey. Don’t laugh, it can be done.. you just have to decide that today is the day.

How to be free in an uncertain world? –  Clean out the closet of your mind. Forgive yourself for the past. Reward yourself for being YOU. And move on, live your life as if money were no object, do the things you love, and you will see…

It will all be OK in the end. If it isn’t, then it’s not the end. Have a wonderful day, these are the best days, hours and minutes of your life.

Fear is invisible. But comes to life when you give it presence, then you actually make it real.

To live in fear is to live a second class life. most of what we fear or worry about never actually happens, however by giving fear a place to live in our hearts and mind, this only increases it’s  strength and overall power over us. The more you think about something, the more power you give it.

Fear Of Fear – Why Some Fears Are Positive

On the other side of that coin, the less power you give to fear, the less likely it is that it will materialize and stop you doing the things you want.
Do we need fear?. On occasion, yes of course. If you see a lion running toward you and you just kept on walking toward it totally fearless, the chances
are even with the best karma in the world, you will still end up getting severely eaten.

However, that aside and a distinct shortage of roaming lions in our country, by being fearless we no longer wear the look of a “victim”. Muggers often
look for people with a “victim” persona, this is a look of fear, an “easy to intimidate” look about them.

How to keep fear at bay: Make a list of all of the things you would do if you weren’t afraid. Don’t worry about how silly this sounds, just think of all the things you really wanted to do, but were too afraid to do them.

Now, think about the most important thing on that list only. Close your eyes and imagine yourself doing that one thing. First see yourself doing this in your mind, how does it look?, now FEEL yourself doing this thing, how does it feel?

Lock in these feelings for several minutes, seeing yourself doing the thing you first feared, then feeling the pleasure of achieving it. What we are doing here is making the pleasure of seeing and feeling yourself doing that which you originally feared, a habit that will eventually replace the fear of doing it.

Do this several times a day for as many days as it takes to remove the fear.

Fear Of Fear – Negative Tricks Of The Imagination

Good thoughts and bad thoughts can’t live in the same place at the same time. With practice you can replace those negative fears with the thoughts of you taking action, doing the thing you fear and feeling the pleasure.

I want you to link the pleasure of doing this thing with the silliness of fearing doing it. Because most fears are just that, they are negative tricks of the imagination.

It will take time to make something a habit. It probably took time for you to be fearful. We are replacing those thoughts of fear, with thoughts of pleasure.

By constantly doing this you can eradicate most of those fears and carry on life without them.

We all have the option to give out thoughts power, we can either choose to make our lives fearful or abundant, the difference is often just a switch in our thinking.

If your mind is dominated by good things, you will attract good things, on the other hand if your mind is dominated by fear, you will live in fear and attract negativity, as this is what fear feeds on.

Fear of fear is real to us. However, living in fear can drain you physically, make you sick and put your life on hold, change the way you look at fear today and start to live positive.

What is affiliate marketing?.  Affiliate marketing is where you sell someone else’s product for a commission. Now, this can be a physical or digital product. I started off selling Affiliate products and I still do it today, it’s a wonderful way of making money online and it is very simple to start.
SO, what are the advantages of being an affiliate?

1)  You don’t have to create products yourself

2)  You don’t have to deliver those products

3)  Most of the customer service is taken care of

Now, the best affiliate products, in my opinion, are those that fall in to the following categories:

A) Products that deliver residual monthly income (Subscription based products, like membership sites)

B) Big ticket price.

C) Large commissions

If you can get involved with an affiliate marketing system that produces all three, then that is even better.

So let’s look at that in more detail.

If you keep selling $7 products all the time and you are lucky enough to find a product owner who will let you become an affiliate with a 100% commission on that product (Warrior Special Offers are common for 100% commissions), then to make a $1000 a month, you personally have to sell approximately 143 copies a month.

If you choose a product that sells for a $1000, with a 100% commission, you only have to sell one a month. Now, I know what you are going to say here. “It’s a lot easier to sell a $7 product than it is a $1000 product, right”.  Of course it is, but the effort required to sell 143 of those $7 products can also be far greater than selling just one $1000 product.

PLUS, if you want to make a $1000 the next month, you have to sell another 143 x $7 products next month.

It doesn’t really make sense to sell low ticket items, UNLESS the customer pays the low price, EVERY month. Here’s an example:

If you sold 143 x $7 monthly memberships, providing no one quit, you would still make your $1000 a month without the effort of selling 143 items a month just to make the same monthly income. Now, you do need to add people every month, to replace people who quit, even the best membership sites out there have high(ish) quit rates. You can of course cut this down by offering members a one off lifetime membership fee.

Affiliate Marketing, So What Would Be An Ideal Situation?.

Finding an affiliate platform that has residual income products isn’t hard. Clickbank is full of them, however in between selling residual income products it would be nice to bank big $500 & $1000 commissions too, paying 100%.

This is not possible on Clickbank, there are limits to the maximum payments per item Clickbank will allow. Finding high ticket products with 100% commissions is very rare, however some affiliate platforms can do this.

In my view you should always buy a product before you sell it. This is the only way to guarantee that you can answer all questions you may be asked about the product, plus you can’t really recommend a product on it’s merits if you haven’t actually seen it yourself.

So, to recap. Choose residual income products, choose one off high ticket, high commission products too. Affiliate Marketing can be very profitable if you find good, high value products that your customers will love and come back for time and time again.

I am seeing the benefits already as I’ve laready introduced someone into the system and recieved commission for doing so.

There is a never ending population who are hungry to earn more money. Many people do not know how to start their own business and this is a shame as with opportunities like this, if only people could see the vision and invest some time and money into themselves, more people would succeed online.

I’ve made so many mistakes online, I really should release a book called the “Top 20 Mistakes You Can Make To Go Broke”.. but I don’t think it would sell very well. I am impressed with the Empower setup, it is very professional and we all have a great opportunity to make money here.

P.S Do You Want To Know How To Make 100% Commissions?

So what is a video playlist?. It is a list of “linked” videos. you may have two three or four videos on video marketing for instance. By adding these videos to a playlist, you are auto linking each video to each other, so when the first video ends, it will automatically play your next video in the playlist to them.

This way you are instantly getting more traffic to each video. If you have adsense on the videos then with each video they see comes another opportunity for them to click on the next adsense ad on the next video, hence increasing the chances of more revenue.

If you link together a series of short videos in your playlist. The first one or two videos could be a “tip” on say, list building, whilst the third video in the sequence could be a review video of a list building product that you are selling.

By linking your videos into lists or groups, you are offering up bigger “servings” of your videos and opening up more chances for increased traffic.

Instead of just sharing a single link to a single video, why not share the “playlist” link to your playlist on all the social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc.

So why YouTube?. Well, in some cases it can be far easier to optimize a video to reach page one of google, than it is with an website, however this article is not about optimising your youtube videos, it’s about getting more use out of your YouTube channel.

Yes, you can monetize each video with adsense, but did you know that you can also add clickable links to your channel, these links can be the first line of monetization, as you can send them back to your website, your sales pages, your blog, or even your social networks such a Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

On YouTube, if you have plenty of interesting content, you can often benefit from casual traffic that wanders into your channel after viewing one of your videos, so it makes sense to have your channel prepared to send visitors back to your website/s

Isn’t it frustrating when you spend all that time making a masterpiece of a video.

You then proceed to upload it to YouTube and when faced with the three choices of thumbnail from YouTube you realise, you have a choice of either the one that makes you look like you are on crack cocaine, the one where you are looking at your shoes or the one where… never mind.

This is all about to change. YES, now you can add your very own thumbnail of a picture that YOU want people to see. This thumbnail is very important as it is the image that everyone sees when you share your videos onto your social networks. It is also the image that people see when visiting your YouTube channel.

You can use this new idea from YouTube, hopefully rolling out to everyone over the next few weeks to your advantage. For example, there is no reason whatsoever that your new customised thumbnail picture can’t include your web address with some careful picture editing. OK, I know it wont be clickable but it looks a lot better than the annotations that are already in place by YouTube themselves.

Why not experiment now. If you have the new feature, add a new thumbnail to all your existing Youtube videos. You are looking to upload an image of approx 500 pxls wide x 285 pxls high.
