This is based on what we heard over the scanner, FAA reports and local news but should not be considered official by any means. A small single engine plane taking off from Aurora Municipal Airport in route to Denver crashed in the vicinity of Waubonsee Community College along Route 47. A pilot and his passenger died, all 4 occupants of the house it crashed into were uninjured.
