Hi crafty friends, Jessica here today to share a calendar spread documenting April. The June release in Kerri’s shop this month is a favorite of mine! I used all three new sets in the spread.

The Laguna alphabet is amazing and so versatile with uppers and lowers along with numbers and letters with small lines at the bottom. This is a must have set! I used it for the numbers on the calendar and also for some of the words I made in open spaces of my calendar.

I used the new What A Month! set for the April, I love the big, bold font so much! And the Worth The Trip set was perfect to add some words and icons throughout my spread as we took a long weekend trip to New York City for my 50th birthday. Get your hands on these sets while you can before they sell out,  as they are sure to do! Xx, Jessica

But, if there’s one thing that summertime brings around these parts, it’s some good summer stamps. And boy, do we have some dandies!

First we have this fabulous Laguna alphabet set. Think, time at the beach or lake, seeing a gorgeous sunset, or simply having any wonderful summertime moment. Of course you can use it for so many other moments too! There’s so much creativity to be had with this full set. Possibilities are endless!

 Also used Worth The Trip along with Overview and Along Those Lines.

Next for our summertime moments, we have Worth The Trip. I’ve had the tune from the Go-Go’s in my head for quite some time…Vacation, all I ever wanted. Vacation, had to get away. Yup. That about sums it up. Is it always worth the trip? You be the judge. I’m gonna say yes for me. :)

And lastly, you just knew if there was a What A Day! that there would have to be a What A Month!, right? Had to. Had. To. :) Please note: Just like What A Day!, these are a special release at a special price. We will not be keeping these in stock, so snag them now if’n ya want them.

With the way my stamps are produced these days (as opposed to five years ago), I’ve reconfigured them from their original release. Both upper and lowercase are included in Willow SM and Willow and then it’s uppercase only for Willow XL. I tried to see if I could get it all on one sheet with single letters, but it was no bueno. :)

Hi everyone, Jessica here to share my latest project for Kerri. I was so excited when I got my design team package to see all of the greenery stamps, they are truly gorgeous! I knew I had these photos, that were taken when I went on an Alaskan cruise, and just as I thought, they were perfect!

I used the Greenery and Growing Wild sets to create some stamped backgrounds for my spread. I loved using different shades of green together to complete the leafy layers. In addition, I used several of the sentiment stamps from both sets to add some words to my layout.

I was truly delighted when I saw the word, “Delighted” On the Work in Progress set. So many uses for such a great word. So glad to have this spread done to add to my Alaska album. Thank you so much for stopping by today and have a wonderful day. xx, Jessica

There is something extra special about a beautiful hand drawn floral stamp sets. And these sets (Growing Wild and Greenery) are so stunning and were such a joy to stamp. I knew the minute I saw them what I would use them for, my daughter’s Senior Ball.

It’s a bittersweet time for us all for sure but these gorgeous stamps helped me document such a special day in her life. I loved having all of the variety of sizes and solid versus line only. I printed out a very subtle damask patter paper for my base to help give it a bit more dimension and just started playing with the stamps and inks. I wanted to keep it looking as organic as possible so I made sure to vary the colors and positions of the stamps as best as I could.

I also managed to add in a few phrases that worked from the Work in Progress stamp set too. There is some journaling tucked in back of the larger photo on one of the tags so I captured a few special details there. I hope you have fun stamping these florals, they really are so pretty.

And speaking of this month’s stamps, take a look at what we have today. I want to point out the special Keep It Simple stamp set that is only available for the celebration of National Scrapbook Day. A few months ago a KBS peep asked if I had a stamp with my motto: Keep it simple. Get it done. And I was like, no, and why don’t I?  ;) I thought this would make a very fun special stamp set to go along with National Scrapbook Day.

As you can see here, it is such a sweet little set and can be used for so many things. It also looks amazing with Growing Wild which is a beautiful botanical set. I think I’ll be using this one a lot!

We also have Work In Progress, which is a fantastic set for anything you may be working on–from knitting a sweater, to learning a new skill, to a personal health journey, to anything you set your mind to.

The last we have is Greenery, which are some lovely, large leafy stamps. I’ll be sharing some gorgeous examples of these over the next couple days from our creative team, so stay tuned.

Many of you know my daughter, Kass. Those that have been around since I’ve been ‘professionally’ scrapbooking (getting paid since 1998) have seen her grow up through the years. Those that have needed customer service or had items shipped from KBS have worked with Kass. And now, at 34 years, she’s dipping her toe into the wonderful world of memory keeping…or whatever she wants to call it.

She wanted to document this time with her niece and nephew at the Aquabats concert a couple weeks ago. She used Lincoln, Scripted,  This Is A Date and the Journaling Stencil and added her own hand-drawn stars to pull this really fun page all together.

She’s never really stamped before so there was lots of testing-before-committing going on. Heck, I still do that. haha In her words, “This is much harder than it looks. I’ll never ‘diss’ scrapbooking again.” haha

And I’ll neither confirm nor deny that I am now craving a mint chocolate chip shake. ;)

I knew right away when I saw that little rainbow on the In Living Color stamp set that I knew exactly what I was going to use it for! It was a perfect little accent for my Shamrock Shake story. I tried my hand at a little ombre stamping with the What A Day stamp and it turned out okay. It sure makes a statement which is essentially what I was going for. I loved that there are cute little phrases on the In Living Color set so of course I used the Green With Envy on this page. I can’t wait to find a way to use the little crayon stamps on another project soon.

And what a page Miss Jessica has made! Just look at that quickly stamped headline. Love the colors she’s got going on here. It’s all simply fabulous.

I paired the “Thursday” and “Highlights” from the What A Day together and then layered a stamp from the Something Like That over it in black. Big impact, right? On the right side of my spread, I used another stamp from Something Like That on top of the card with my hidden journaling. I love how this spread came together! x, Jessica

Say hello to  Something Like That, In Living Color, What A Day! and special rereleases of Lincoln and Lincoln Outline.

Springtime has always got me thinking of color. Which is where my brain went when pulling together In Living Color stamp set. So many phrases with a color theme that are sure to brighten your documenting.

Now, I’ll let you in on a little secret. I am not a fan of trying to make my letters straight. I do it, but if I can have it laid out all perfectly for me? I’m soooo there! That’s why I needed these big ol’ no-muss, no-fuss days of the week with complementary words. I. Am. In. Love.
