Many of you know my daughter, Kass. Those that have been around since I’ve been ‘professionally’ scrapbooking (getting paid since 1998) have seen her grow up through the years. Those that have needed customer service or had items shipped from KBS have worked with Kass. And now, at 34 years, she’s dipping her toe into the wonderful world of memory keeping…or whatever she wants to call it.

She wanted to document this time with her niece and nephew at the Aquabats concert a couple weeks ago. She used Lincoln, Scripted,  This Is A Date and the Journaling Stencil and added her own hand-drawn stars to pull this really fun page all together.

She’s never really stamped before so there was lots of testing-before-committing going on. Heck, I still do that. haha In her words, “This is much harder than it looks. I’ll never ‘diss’ scrapbooking again.” haha

I knew right away when I saw that little rainbow on the In Living Color stamp set that I knew exactly what I was going to use it for! It was a perfect little accent for my Shamrock Shake story. I tried my hand at a little ombre stamping with the What A Day stamp and it turned out okay. It sure makes a statement which is essentially what I was going for. I loved that there are cute little phrases on the In Living Color set so of course I used the Green With Envy on this page. I can’t wait to find a way to use the little crayon stamps on another project soon.

And what a page Miss Jessica has made! Just look at that quickly stamped headline. Love the colors she’s got going on here. It’s all simply fabulous.

Hi crafty friends, Jessica here to share a project using some of Kerri’s new stamps. They make a big, beautiful impact! I paired the “Thursday” and “Highlights” from the What A Day together and then layered a stamp from the Something Like That over it in black. Big impact, right? On the right side of my spread, I used another stamp from Something Like That on top of the card with my hidden journaling. I love how this spread came together! x, Jessica

Springtime has always got me thinking of color. Which is where my brain went when pulling together In Living Color stamp set. So many phrases with a color theme that are sure to brighten your documenting.

Now, I’ll let you in on a little secret. I am not a fan of trying to make my letters straight. I do it, but if I can have it laid out all perfectly for me? I’m soooo there! That’s why I needed these big ol’ no-muss, no-fuss days of the week with complementary words. I. Am. In. Love.

Next up is Something Like That. It’s a lovely assortment of living-life phrases.

Finally we have Lincoln and Lincoln Outline. This is a special re-release of a classic alphabet set that we first introduced ten years ago. Definitely a set that will stand the test of time.

Here’s a little bit about Barbara…and her very first KBS page! Isn’t it simply marvelous??? Again…just clapping my hands with joy.

Hi my name is Barbara, I am a California girl who loves to read, play with paper and hang out with my husband,  daughter and our dog. I started scrapbooking in earnest in 1999 when I made my first album for my wedding. An ambitious undertaking for sure. I’ve done pretty much all forms of scrapbooking since then, traditional 12 x 12 layouts, years of Project Life, making mini albums, digital scrapbooking, and filling up tons of Travelers Notebooks.

These days my means of documenting has shifted to memory planning and daily creative journaling which means I have a pretty healthy love of all things stationery, pretty paper, and stamping. This allows me to still capture our daily life and events in a manner that fits into the current vibe of my life and keeps me being creative which is something I truly love to do.

Made a little page documenting said moment stamping a grid from Overview as a base on cardstock and then added a phrase from News Of The Day. Tucked under that is a label from On The Inside and the Date/Moment from News Of The Day. Then I stamped a section of cardstock in the same color as the label, trimmed it and tucked it–and some washi–on the bottom. Last but not least is a little label using DIY Thoughts In A Box.

First up is News Of The Day. Loving this one for all the news-themed phrases!

Next is DIY Thoughts In A Box. I had two ideas when I originally made Thoughts In A Box. One idea was with phrases already in a box (made that) and one where you could make your own. Since both ideas couldn’t fit onto one stamp sheet, I separated them and have now finally made the other theme.

And then we have Franklin Calendar SM because I’m a big believer in multiple sizes for all the options. ;) You can see the difference in size here with the regular Franklin Calendar.

Now I’m off to tuck this little guy into my ‘anything goes’ journal.

Made a little page about the day using Love Is All Around, Single Digits Jumbo and DIY Thoughts In A Box, which is coming in March. Oh, and the twenty/twentysix also comes from another set coming next month, Franklin Calendar SM…in case you needed a smaller version of the original, like me. :)
