Michele & Mark's Colorado Wedding

Michele and Mark had a beautiful wedding up at Denver's Historic Boettcher Mansion. From the moment I saw both of them together at their engagement shoot, it was obvious they were a perfect match. Wil is 6 months old!

It's hard to believe how fast time flies once you have kids. It seems like I was just at dinner with Michelle, hearing that she was pregnant. Well, Her son Wil is now 6 months old, and such a cutie. We have begun to feel like the family staff photographer for these two. We shot their engagement photos, wedding, maternity photos, and now a Baby's First Year Package. Must say it's really fun to spend so much time documenting a couple's life together.

It has been such a pleasure watching Todd and Kirstie's family grow and change since we shot their 20's themed wedding at Boettcher Mansion in 2008. Their son Luke has grown so much. We're happy to see you all doing so well. one of our favorite things to do is follow a family from their engagement shoot, to their wedding and on to their Baby's First Year Shoots. We've be honored to do so with Kirstie and Todd. Check out their family shoot we did this fall.

Melissa & Aaron are Engaged! - Estes Park Wedding

We met Melissa when she was a bridesmaid for Michelle and James. One of our favorite couples. She was so much fun, and she and I had so much fun together at the wedding, when it came time for her to plan her own wedding, she called us! WE were honored of course, and are photographing their May 23rd Estes Park Wedding.

Congratulations you two, and we cannot wait for your wedding!

Mindy and Sara's (Surrogate Mom) Maternity Photographs

I've had such a hard time writing this blog post, in part because I'm so moved by Sara's gift to Mindy of a child, but also because of my own struggles to conceive my own child. Sara is giving her friend the gift of a child which to me is the most beautiful gift a person can give. So, without getting to darn sappy. Enjoy the obvious love these two friends have for each other. I was moved to tears many times that day, and many times since.

Sophia is 1!

Sophia and our daughter Zahra play together in a playgroup that we attend once a month. They are only a few minutes apart in age, but are so different in personality, that it makes it really fun to play together. Sophia is such a sweet, mellow baby, while our daughter is a complete brute. It took a little while for us to capture Sophia's sweet smiles, but luckily she was willing to share a few with us.

Meagan and Tim's Westin Westminster Wedding

Meagan and Tim have a passion for life (and each other!) that's unmatched by few. We heard reports from their planner Michelle that their wedding was going to be extraordinary, with a crazy nightclub style after party. We left about 1 AM, two hours or so before cops broke up the party. Well done and congratulations!

Boettcher Mansion Wedding Photographer

Leah and Sean are the sweetest couple whose wedding we weren't sure was going to happen according to schedule. You see Sean was involved ina fireworks accident 3 weeks before their wedding. Luckily, Sean was recovered enough to have their wedding on time, but it was touch and go there for a bit. I was feeling a bit under the weather, but we were able to get some fantastic images of the two of them and their families.

Hillary and Drew's Farewell to Boulder photos

Hillary and Drew recently decided to leave Boulder. Sooo, they finally called in their engagement photo session that never happened before their wedding due to some crazy schedules. We turned it into a farewell to Boulder mini session with them and their trusty dog Samson, who got his very own yellow cab for a yellow lab ride back to boulder last year from their wedding.

Jackie and Matt celebrated their marriage in a couple of different and beautiful spots up near Estes Park. After a heartfelt ceremony at St. Malo's church on the rock, everyone made the short drive over to Wild Basin Lodge for their ceremony. These two have a great group of friends and family that made the evening a blast as the group showed their love and support for the newlyweds. Congratulations!

Miranda and Pete had a fabulous wedding at the new Della Terra Mountain Chateau in Estes Park. It's easy to see the love these two have for each other and all their wonderful friends and family. Everyone had a great day and enjoyed the new digs up in Estes Park. The next day we went up to RMNP for some mountain photos and had a perfect window of weather.

As wedding photographers, we get to meet a lot of couples. From the beginning we could tell that these two were made just exactly for each other. During their ceremony, there was not a dry eye in the place. I even had a hard time keeping myself from bawling. The ceremony was that great!
