2012 is coming to an end, and if the world doesn’t dissolve today in a kind of apocalyptic bang, it will be fun to look back at a productive year from the safe shelter (?) of 2013, although as we know 13 isn’t an especially lucky number, so I’m worried. Here’s a link to the productions and readings which comprised my North American Apocalyptic Paranoia Tour 2012, which is now over. Onward. Upward. Outward. Eck cetera.

Also, the University of Texas at Austin’s Department of Theatre & Dance has announced its UT New Theatre (UTNT) plays for 2013, including my new drama DREAM OF PERFECT SLEEP. Details are here, and the play will appear at UT the last two weekends in April.

The show features Meredith Deighton, Ramona Lucius, and Kris Reilly, with direction by Keith Paul Medalis and is running in Ypsilanti, Michigan, through December 16th. Tickets are available here.

WOLF CRY WOLF will premiere at the New Theatre Project in Ypsilanti, Michigan on November 30th, with previews on the 25th and 26th. Keith Paul Medalis will direct, and the cast includes Meredith Deighton, Ramona Lucius, and Kris Reilly.

Charles Midwinter and I are working on a new play, called LIFE ELECTRIC, about electrical showpeople in the 1740s in Pennsylvania. Fox Valley Repertory in St. Charles, Illinois invited us to develop the play with them this July in their annual Collider Festival. We had an entirely enjoyable and very productive time. We even managed to record this yammer while there. Check it out.
