href="http://kewlmuzik.tumblr.com/post/232069827/regina-spektor-delivered-one-of-the-most-amazing">very late</a> on this but this show needs to be written about for Regina Spektor is a musical genius and this concert had one of the best sound (vocals, instruments) all year</p> <p>To start off, I should state I was only a casual listener before attending this. Also I must say the Fox is becoming of my favorite venues even if it’s in the east bay, the room is beautiful and reminds me of the Warfield, minus the crack addicts off 6th St</p> <p>Regina’s latest album <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Far-Regina-Spektor/dp/B00204AA0O">Far</a> is pretty good but I’d venture to say the live experience is vastly superior. The thing about the music is its quirk and fun and qualities are debatable but in a live performance, Regina wins you over with her sheer talent almost the same way you would never go to a Celine Dion concert but would nevertheless stand for the ovation at the end. Ok bad example. in Spanish) was a real revelation at the Peter Bjorn and John (PBJ) 2nd show. Mostly I was mesmerized by the moves of singer Sarah who also played the guitar. The sound was really good (as it was for El Perro Del Mar). I was surprised by how Peter’s voice, despite it sounding just the way it is on cd (great).
