This story[of the battle] shall the good man teach his son, And Crispin Crispian shall ne’er go by From this day to the ending of the world But we in it shall be remembered We few, we happy few, we band of brothers. For he today that sheds his blood with me Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile, This day shall gentle his condition. – William Shakespeare’s “Henry V” play

Diplomacy doesn’t always work. So sometimes, war is the only answer. After a week of invasion and rummaging on friendly territory, I have officially waged war and declared cockroaches (and all its allies) hostile. I don’t care if they’ve existed million of years before humans, they should be extinct a long time ago.

I have a love-hate relationship with them. I’m no fan of their recent songs (last two-three albums) but am glad they played their classic hits from Morning Glory. However, I expected more singles from Be Here Now and Heathen Chemistry but I’m uber pissed they left out Live Forever from Definitely Maybe. It’s blardy murder I tell ya, focking cunts.

Probably the iconic British rock band of the (mid-late) nineties. If you grew up in that period, you probably have heard and memorised by hard at least one of their singles from the earlier (best) three albums. I was probably too young and cash-less for concerts back then so it was a no-brainer when I heard they were coming to our little island.

Yes, I’m backdating this overdue entry of mine. It’s been over a week and I’m still suffering withdrawal symptoms from the night. With such beautiful and meaningful lyrics, charming heart-felt melodies, catchy sounds, wicked visual light/colour display and overall Chris’s emotive performances, it was quite simply – for the lack of a better word – englightening.

Firstly, I wasn’t aware of the accolade it had bagged at the Oscars so when Nadi called and told me about it, I went in without expectations. Secondly, it is not be confused with The Departed, Hollywood’s (lame) remake of HK’s inferior Infernal Affairs.

I missed the match but it was a stalemate anyways. It went down to the dreaded penalties and these usually either produces heroes and/or villains. Tonight, the upcoming United goalie Ben Foster who saved a few from the crucial spotkick, is the latest man of the moment.
